The Ontario market in 2026
As of 6 August 2026, iGaming Ontario lists 48 registered operators running 83 gaming sites. The market has consolidated: the first wave of European brands that entered in 2022 has thinned out considerably, and the growth since has come from North American operators and from brands built specifically for Ontario.
Where the market stands right now:

14 May 2026 — BetGuard goes live: one-step self-exclusion across every regulated Ontario site, the first system of its kind in North America.
August 2026 — the iGO registry stands at 48 operators and 83 sites, from the largest North American brands to Ontario-only newcomers.
Brands we are still working through: FanDuel, theScore Bet, Bally Bet, Hard Rock Bet, Golden Nugget, Horseshoe, Stardust, ToonieBet, Toppz, Bet99, TonyBet, Betty, Casino Time, Monopoly and Wheel of Fortune. We link each one as its review is published — we would rather list a brand late than list it without having looked at it.
Brands that have left the regulated market. Several casinos still recommended by other Ontario guides no longer appear in the iGO registry. If you see Casumo, Wildz, Caxino, Wheelz, Casimba, Betsafe, Unibet, Conquestador, Dream Vegas, Jackpot Village or PokerStars presented as a legal Ontario option, the page you are reading is out of date.
4 April 2022 — Ontario’s regulated iGaming market opens, the first competitive online gambling market in Canada.
