Is SpinAway Legal in Ontario?

Yes. SpinAway is one of the 84 gaming websites listed in the iGaming Ontario register, which is the only list that settles this question. Filter the register by entity in October 2026 and the brand appears under Jungle Media Ltd., approved for Casino only, with no sportsbook and no poker room. In August it sat under a different company, Ngame N.V., which is no longer on the register at all; the register now counts 49 operators and 84 websites.

The operator’s own Ontario contract says the same thing in plainer language. The terms served on the Ontario site, Version 2.2 dated October 1, 2026, name “Jungle Media Limited, having its address at Level 1 Burlington Complex, Dragonara Road, St. Julian’s, Malta”, licensed by the AGCO under licence OPIG1551604 — a new number, replacing the OPIG1242639 that Ngame N.V. held. Clause 1.4 adds the part that makes an Ontario casino an Ontario casino: the operation “is conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario, an agency of the Government of Ontario.”

The age is 19, and the operator states it without hedging: “You must be 19+ years old and physically located in Ontario to wager.” That second half matters more here than at most casinos, and the next few sections explain why. Your location is checked, not assumed, and a connection that resolves outside the province does not reach the Ontario product at all.

One number to keep in your pocket if you ever need it: ConnexOntario, the province’s free and confidential helpline, is on 1-866-531-2600, and the operator prints it on its own Ontario pages.

Who Actually Runs SpinAway

The company behind the Ontario casino changed in the autumn of 2026. Until then it was Ngame N.V., registered in Willemstad, Curaçao — an unusual home for an AGCO registrant. Today it is Jungle Media Limited, at Level 1, Burlington Complex, Dragonara Road, St Julian’s, Malta, under licence OPIG1551604. The casino moved onto a new platform at the same time: the Ontario lobby now loads its games from the same back end that serves Lucky Days, and the game library changed with it, as the sections below show.

The brand is not new. The Canadian domain first appears in the Internet Archive on November 2, 2022, which places SpinAway among the operators that arrived in the first wave after Ontario opened its market that April.

There is a second thread that only shows up if you look at the Android app rather than the website. In August we found that the Ontario app was published from a Google Play account whose verified identity is L7 Entertainment Limited, Level 1, Burlington Complex, Dragonara Road, St Julians, Malta — the registered operator of Lucky Days — with a contact address at the luckydays.se domain. That thread has since become the whole story: SpinAway’s new operator sits at the same Burlington Complex address, the casino runs on the Lucky Days platform, and the app listing still gives a luckydays.se contact. Two Ontario brands that present themselves as unrelated now share an address, a platform and an app publisher.

There is no AGCO monetary penalty naming Jungle Media, Ngame N.V. or SpinAway. The regulator has published penalties against several Ontario operators, some of them well known, and this one is not among them.

One Address, Two Casinos

Here is the thing about SpinAway that no other Ontario review will tell you, and it is not a criticism so much as a warning about which door you are standing at.

spinaway.ca is not one casino. It is two, and which one you get depends on where you are sitting.

Connect from Ontario and you reach the AGCO product described in this review. Connect from anywhere else in Canada — we tested from a Montréal connection — and the same address serves a completely different business. The footer says so in full:

“Spinaway.ca is a brand name of Monkey 9 Limited, Reg No. 391776, having its registered address at Katalanou, 11, Flat/Office 11, 1100, Nicosia, Cyprus, licensed to conduct online gaming operations by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, license number: 1041 issued 27th May 2025.”

Different company. Different country. Different regulator. Same web address, same logo, same mascot. The footer even offers to move you between them: “Playing from a different region? Ontario players — visit our Ontario site. Other Provinces — visit our global site.” The Ontario link points at spinaway.ca/on.

None of this is illegal, and it is not unique to SpinAway — several groups run a regulated Ontario site alongside an offshore Canadian one. What is unusual is that both live at the same address, and that the iGaming Ontario register’s own link for this operator points straight at that shared address rather than at the Ontario route. If you are in Ontario your connection will land you in the right place. If you are travelling, or on a VPN, or helping a relative in Winnipeg set up an account, you are not on the AGCO casino any more, and the protections in this review do not apply to that one.

The two are not the same product underneath, either. The non-Ontario lobby publishes its own shelf counts, and they are modest: 1,767 slots, 10 table games, 2 jackpot titles and a single roulette game.

Its live casino is almost entirely Pragmatic Play. The Ontario live floor, read from Toronto in October 2026, is mostly Evolution, Crazy Time included. The help centre now describes three doors rather than two: /on for Ontario, /ab for Alberta “where available”, and the plain .ca address for the rest of Canada. Two catalogues, one brand. Read any SpinAway review that does not tell you which one it looked at with that in mind.

SpinAway Ontario Casino Games

In August this section had to work from two operator figures that disagreed — “2500+ games” on Google Play and “over 1000” on the landing page — because the Ontario lobby could not be read from outside the province. Read from Toronto in October 2026, it can be counted, and the lobby prints its own totals.

The Ontario catalogue holds 3,034 games from 85 studios. Slots are 2,446 of them, the table shelf 42, baccarat 13, and the live casino 86 titles. The New Games shelf holds 95 and Recommended 205.

Slots

Slots are the centre of gravity. Pragmatic Play supplies 529 of them, Play’n GO 358, Hacksaw Gaming 256, Games Global 151 and Red Tiger 145, and the titles on the front shelf tell you which studios matter here. Sweet Bonanza and Big Bass Bonanza carry the Drops & Wins badge, which is Pragmatic Play’s network prize campaign. Amazing Link Zeus is labelled “By Games Global” right on the tile — one of the few lobbies in Ontario that prints the studio under the artwork rather than making you dig for it. This is a mainstream, high-recognition slot selection rather than a connoisseur’s one. If you came looking for obscure indie studios, this is not that lobby. If you came for the titles you already know from every other Ontario casino, they are here and they are on the first screen.

Where to start: Big Bass Bonanza if you want a low-stakes feature chase you already understand, Sweet Bonanza if you prefer a cluster-pays game with a tumble mechanic over spinning reels.

Jackpot Slots

The Jackpots shelf holds ten games, and nine of them run on Maple Moolah, the Games Global network shared across Ontario casinos — Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II, Atlantean Treasures and the rest. The largest pot running in the Ontario catalogue when we read it was CA$297,467, shared by seven Games Global slots. Most other jackpot games here are the in-game tiered kind. Amazing Link Zeus carries four levels stacked above the reels: MEGA, MAJOR, MINOR and MINI, showing $3,000.00, $300.00, $30.00 and $12.00 in the operator’s own capture. Those are the pot sizes at that moment, not fixed prizes, and the two lower tiers land often enough that they read more like a bonus than a jackpot.

Look at the top of that screen and you will see the two things Ontario requires a casino to keep in front of you while you play: a session clock, running at 1m29s in the capture, and a net position line showing whether you are up or down. Most operators bury both. SpinAway puts them in the game header where you cannot miss them, and that is a genuinely good piece of design.

Where to start: Amazing Link Zeus, and watch the MINI and MINOR counters for a few minutes before you decide whether the tiers are worth chasing.

Roulette

Roulette at SpinAway runs in both formats. On the live side, Evolution’s Lightning Roulette, Fireball Roulette and Auto Mega Roulette sit beside Pragmatic Play’s PowerUP Roulette, Mega Wheel and Indian Roulette; the software shelf adds European and American wheels, Gold Vault Roulette and the Multifire variants. Each tile carries the studio name underneath, so you always know whose wheel you are betting on. The single-zero European wheels are the ones to look for; the American wheel adds a second zero and nearly doubles the house edge.

Where to start: a standard live table first to get used to the interface, and only then PowerUP Roulette, whose multipliers change the shape of the bet rather than just the payout.

Blackjack and Table Games

The table shelf mixes live and RNG. ONE Blackjack, Blackjack 33 — The Club and a Canada Classic Blackjack table sit on the live side; Blackjack Pulse Time by Oi Studios, ReDeal Blackjack and Premier Blackjack with Side Bets are RNG titles you can play at your own pace and at lower stakes. Amazing Baccarat and Andar Bahar and Dragon Tiger fill out the card section, and Gates of Olympus Roulette is the crossover title that borrows a slot’s identity for a wheel. A studio you do not see everywhere shows up here — Oi Studios — which is a small sign that the table catalogue is not simply the default bundle every casino gets. (The Reevo table we listed in August is no longer in the Ontario catalogue.) The three baccarat bets carry three very different prices — we set them out in our guide to online baccarat in Ontario.

Where to start: an RNG blackjack table if you want to learn basic strategy without a dealer waiting on you, then move to a live table once your decisions are automatic.

Live Dealer Casino

The live floor is where the Ontario product and the non-Ontario one visibly part ways. Read from Toronto in October 2026, the Ontario floor holds 86 live titles — 48 from Evolution, 36 from Pragmatic Play Live and one from Red Tiger — led by Crazy Time, MONOPOLY Live, Lightning Roulette and Infinite Blackjack, with a Canada Classic Blackjack table among them. On the Canadian site, Pragmatic Play dominates.

Live play carries the same on-screen furniture as the slots: the balance chip stays in the corner, and the session information stays with you when you move between tables rather than resetting each time.

Where to start: sit out two or three rounds of a wheel game before betting. The bonus rounds are where the money is decided, and they only come around every few spins.

Game Shows

Game shows get their own treatment here rather than being filed under live casino, and the wheel segments in the operator’s Ontario capture name the bonus rounds outright: Coin Flip, Pachinko, Cash Hunt. Anyone who has played Crazy Time will recognise all three instantly.

The base segments pay 1x, 2x, 5x and 10x, and they are printed on the wheel — “PAYS 1X”, “PAYS 5X4” — which is more transparent than the versions that leave you to work the multipliers out from a paytable screen.

Where to start: a small flat stake on the number segments while you watch how often the bonus rounds actually trigger. They are rarer than the wheel’s design makes them look.

Software Providers

SpinAway names its studios on the tile, which makes the roster easy to verify rather than something you take on faith. In August we could confirm four. Read from Toronto in October 2026, the Ontario catalogue lists 85 studios, led by Pragmatic Play (529), Play’n GO (358), Hacksaw Gaming (256), Games Global (151), Red Tiger (145), Inspired (110), Relax Gaming (107), Wazdan (99), Playson (97), Push Gaming (81), NetEnt (76) and Evolution (58).

Games Global is the group formerly known as Microgaming and supplies the Amazing Link series and the progressive engine behind it. Hacksaw Gaming brings Plinko and the crash-adjacent titles. Pragmatic Play covers both slots and the live tables. That puts SpinAway among the broader rosters in the province, which is the biggest single change since our first review.

Where to start: Plinko by Hacksaw Gaming if you want something structurally different from a reel game, since nothing else in this lobby plays like it.

The SpinAway App on Android

SpinAway has an Android app, the package ca.spinaway.app. In August it was called SpinAway Ontario Slots Casino; since its update of October 2, 2026 it is SpinAway Canada Slots Casino, described as for “eligible Canadian players aged 19 or older”, with games that “may vary according to your location”. The Ontario site still points to it as the Ontario app.

Two caveats, and they are real ones. First, Android only — we searched the Canadian App Store again in October and there is no SpinAway iPhone app, even though the Ontario footer now carries a “Download on iOS” badge. It leads to a page that offers only Google Play. On iOS you use the site in Safari. Second, the listing shows 100+ downloads, which is a very small install base and means there is effectively no user review history to judge stability by.

Be careful which app you install. A search for “spinaway” in the Canadian Play Store also returns an app whose package name ends in spinawaycasino but which is, on its own listing, an offline utility kit from a Ukrainian developer offering a tap tempo tool, piano notes and Morse code signals. It has nothing to do with this casino. The real one is published under the developer name SpinAway with support at spinaway.ca.

How to Sign Up and Log In at SpinAway Ontario

1. Open spinaway.ca and check the footer before anything else. If it names iGaming Ontario you are on the Ontario casino. If it names Monkey 9 Limited and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, you are on the other one — use the “visit our Ontario site” link in that same footer, or connect from an Ontario network.
2. Register with the name, date of birth and address on your government ID. Verification here is triggered by withdrawals as well as deposits, and the terms allow the operator to ask for proof of address and proof of payment if your withdrawal method differs from your deposit method. A nickname or an old address costs you days at exactly the wrong moment.
3. Confirm you are 19 or older and physically in Ontario. The location check is not a formality on this brand — it is the mechanism that decides which of the two casinos you are on.
4. Set your deposit and loss limits before you fund the account. Both live in the Account section and can be set immediately. Lowering a limit takes effect at once; raising or removing one only takes effect after a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period, so the limit you set on day one is the one that protects you in week three.
5. Open the cashier and read the minimums there. SpinAway does not publish deposit minimums or fees on a public page — its terms send you to the Deposit tab to find them. Check the number before you commit, not after.

Session time limits are the exception to step four: the terms say those are set by contacting the support team rather than in your account settings, so if a time cap is what you want, budget an email for it.

SpinAway Payments and Withdrawals

In August SpinAway’s Ontario page listed Visa, Mastercard, Interac, bank transfer, Skrill and MuchBetter. Since the move to the new platform the Ontario site publishes no payment list at all; the October 2026 terms send you to the cashier for methods, minimums and fees.

The cashier itself is the clearest part of the whole product. It splits Deposit and Withdraw into two tabs, shows your withdrawable balance separately from funds that are locked, and states the minimum and maximum for the transaction on the same screen.

The October 2026 terms set the minimum withdrawal at CA$10, down from the $20 shown on the operator’s older cashier screen, with Interac and bank transfer as the payout routes it showed. The “Withdrawable balance” and “Locked” split is genuinely useful — it tells you at a glance how much of your balance is actually yours to take, which is the single most common cause of arguments at online casinos.

Three things in the terms you should know before you deposit. Cash and cheques are not accepted, and neither are third-party payment methods — the card has to be yours. If you request a withdrawal of deposited funds you have not wagered at least once, the request is held while the operator reviews it. And there is an inactivity clause with teeth: after 12 months without a login the operator is entitled to charge a CA$5 monthly account maintenance fee starting in the thirteenth month, with the account closed altogether after 30 months. A balance of CA$3 or less is swept and the account closed automatically.

The gap in all this is publication. There is no public payments page listing deposit minimums, processing times or per-method limits — the terms explicitly tell you to look inside the cashier, which you can only reach after you have registered. For a casino that gets so much else right on transparency, that is the odd one out.

SpinAway Ontario Customer Support

Two channels, both confirmed in the operator’s own documents. The Ontario terms name live chat on the website and email at support@spinaway.ca, and the Google Play listing gives the same email as its support address. There is no published telephone number for customer service. The 1-866-531-2600 you will see on SpinAway’s pages is ConnexOntario, the province’s gambling helpline, and it is not the operator’s support desk.

Where SpinAway is better than most is that its complaints process is written down with a clock attached. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours, the operator aims for a substantive response within five working days, and the outside limit is eight weeks. Very few Ontario casinos commit to numbers like that in a contract.

There is a catch worth remembering: complaints “can only be made in respect of incidents that have taken place not longer than six months from the date of the complaint.” If something goes wrong, raise it in writing quickly, and keep the acknowledgement email.

Is SpinAway Safe? Licence and Record

On the things that can be checked from outside, SpinAway holds up.

It is in the iGaming Ontario register under Jungle Media Ltd. It holds AGCO internet gaming registration OPIG1551604, printed in its own Ontario terms and footer rather than only in marketing. It appears on the Responsible Gambling Council’s published list of RG Check accredited sites as “SpinAway.ca” — an accreditation Ontario now requires of its registered operators, so it is a box every compliant casino has to tick, but it is one you can verify is ticked. And there is no AGCO monetary penalty against this operator on the public record.

Two things temper that. The first is the address problem in the third section of this review: the same domain hosts a Kahnawake-licensed casino run by a Cyprus company, and the Ontario register links to the shared address. Nothing about that is prohibited, but it puts more weight on you to check the footer than any other Ontario brand does.

The second is the change of hands. In August we criticised Ontario terms that had not been updated since September 2023; that is fixed, with Version 2.2 dated October 1, 2026. But the operator, the licence number and the platform all changed within weeks of each other, and the register, the footer and the app listing do not yet tell one consistent story: the app is now titled for Canada, its contact is a Lucky Days address, and the footer’s iOS badge leads to an Android-only page. If you held a balance before the move, check it after.

Responsible Gambling at SpinAway

The toolkit is complete and, unusually, it is documented in the contract rather than only on a marketing page. You can set deposit limits and loss limits from the Account section, wagering limits to cap how much you can stake, and session time limits by asking support. There is a time out for a short break, after which the account reactivates by itself, and full self-exclusion for a longer one.

Three details are worth more than the list. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately, while raising or removing one waits out a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period that you cannot reverse in the meantime — the asymmetry is the whole point of a limit and SpinAway gets it right. During a definite self-exclusion, inactivity fees are not charged, resuming 30 days after the period ends. And self-exclusion “will affect Your Player Account with this Website only,” though the operator reserves the right to extend it to other brands under the same licence if it judges that appropriate.

Then there is the in-game display we mentioned earlier: the running session clock and the net position, shown in the header while you play rather than filed in a report you have to go looking for. Combined with the RG Check accreditation and the ConnexOntario details on every Ontario page, the responsible gambling side of this casino is stronger than its size would lead you to expect.

SpinAway is a small, casino-only brand in a province with some very large ones. Here is where it sits on the things you can actually compare.

The honest summary used to be that SpinAway traded breadth for tidiness. On the new platform the breadth gap has mostly closed — 3,034 games from 85 studios — and what you still give up is the phone line and the iPhone app. In exchange you get a cashier that tells you what is withdrawable, a complaints procedure with deadlines in it, and player-protection displays that sit where you can see them.

If library size is what you are shopping for, the larger Ontario casinos beat this one comfortably. If you want a small casino that is straight with you about the mechanics, SpinAway earns its place — provided you are standing at the right door.

Everything above comes from primary sources: the iGaming Ontario register, the operator’s own Ontario terms and conditions, its Ontario landing page, its Google Play listing and store artwork, the Responsible Gambling Council’s accreditation list, the AGCO’s published penalty record, and our own connections to the site from inside Canada. We did not take a number from another review site, and where the operator contradicts itself we have shown you both figures rather than picking the flattering one.

In October 2026 we read the Ontario site itself from a Toronto connection: the footer, the October 2026 terms, the help centre, and the full Ontario catalogue the lobby loads, which is where the 3,034 games, the 85 studios, the live floor and the jackpot figures come from. We re-check registration status, licence numbers, payment methods and responsible gambling tools on every review, and we correct rather than quietly delete when we get something wrong.
