Is Amazon Slots Legal in Ontario?
Yes. Amazon Slots is on the iGaming Ontario register at amazonslots.ca, listed as a casino. It is operated by The Six Gaming Limited, a company registered in Alderney, in the Channel Islands, and registered with the AGCO under OPIG1229310. The registration appears in the footer of every page, next to the BetGuard, iGaming Ontario and ConnexOntario marks.

Who is behind Amazon Slots
The name has nothing to do with Amazon the retailer. The site runs on the platform of Jumpman Gaming, the British group behind a long list of slot sites: parts of the site load from Jumpman’s servers and its affiliate link points to Jumpman Affiliates. In Ontario the licence holder is The Six Gaming Limited, and its terms name a second regulator for complaints, the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, alongside iGaming Ontario.
The location check is strict
Amazon Slots checks where you are more tightly than most Ontario sites. Its FAQ asks for precise location to be on in both your phone and your browser, warns against VPNs and against using a phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot, and suggests calling your internet provider if your IP address is placed outside Ontario. If you see “Oops! We can’t do that from your current location”, those are the settings to check first.

Amazon Slots Ontario Games
1,672 games, almost all slots
The lobby the Ontario site loads listed 1,672 games when we read it for this review: 1,633 slots, 31 casino games, seven instant games and one table game. As the name promises, this is a slot site first; the tabs are Slots, Casino, Table Games and a “Hot & Cold” shelf, and several new titles carry an “Exclusive!” badge.
The lobby does not name studios, so we matched the 1,633 slots by title against the five Ontario lobbies we measured game by game for our RTP research. 1,546 of them matched, and the studio mix is clear:
| Studio | Slots matched at Amazon Slots |
|---|---|
| Games Global (formerly Microgaming) | 500 |
| Pragmatic Play | 393 |
| Play’n GO | 218 |
| Playtech | 82 |
| Inspired | 72 |
| NetEnt | 54 |
| Red Tiger | 54 |
| Blueprint | 48 |
| Light & Wonder (incl. Barcrest, Williams) | 27 |
| Hacksaw Gaming | 21 |
| Slingo | 23 |
| ReelPlay | 16 |
| Other studios | 38 |
Games Global, Pragmatic Play and Play’n GO make up almost three-quarters of the matched list. That is a mainstream mix, strong on Games Global classics and Pragmatic’s fishing and bonanza series. It is thin on the studios with the most 96% slots in Ontario lobbies: NetEnt has 54 games here, Hacksaw 21, and Relax Gaming and Big Time Gaming none that we could match. If RTP is your first filter, those are the studios to look for, and Amazon Slots carries few of them. Our guide to online slots in Ontario compares lobbies.
Live casino: 24 tables
The Casino tab holds 24 live dealer tables, 11 of blackjack and 11 of roulette, plus Casino Hold’em and Spin a Win, most of them Playtech tables such as Quantum Roulette and Mega Fire Blaze Roulette. Seven more casino games are RNG: themed roulettes such as Immortal Romance Roulette and a blackjack side-bet suite. There is no Evolution, so no Lightning Roulette or Crazy Time, and no live baccarat. For a fuller live floor, see our guide to live casino in Ontario.

Amazon Slots on Mobile
There is no Amazon Slots app: we found none on the Canadian App Store, and the site does not link to one. You play in your phone’s browser, which works, but it means no saved login with Face ID, no notifications and the location prompts every session. The FAQ gives step-by-step settings for Safari and Chrome on iPhone and Android, which is a sign of how often players get stuck there. Our page on Ontario casino apps compared lists the operators that do have one.
Amazon Slots Payments in Ontario
The terms are short on this: debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard) and Interac, in Canadian dollars only. There are no e-wallets, no PayPal and no bank transfer listed. The footer shows the same three marks.
| Rule | Amazon Slots Ontario |
|---|---|
| Methods | Visa, Mastercard and Interac |
| Currency | Canadian dollars only |
| Pending period | Up to 72 hours, during which you can cancel the withdrawal |
| Where withdrawals go | The method you deposited with, up to the amount deposited |
| Before release | Anti-money-laundering screening and, possibly, a review of your game play |
| Fees | The terms say charges “may be incurred” on withdrawals |
The 72-hour pending window is the rule that matters most. During it your withdrawal still sits in your balance and can be cancelled, which is how a payout becomes another session. If you do not want that option, the terms say you can ask support to lock your account temporarily while the withdrawal is pending. Only after those 72 hours does the payment go to processing, so even an Interac payout is a matter of days, not hours. Compare the fastest-paying Ontario casinos, and our guide to Interac casinos in Ontario.
Why a withdrawal can stay pending
The FAQ is direct about the usual cause: missing documents. Amazon Slots may ask for photo ID, a bank statement or utility bill under six months old, and proof that the card or account you used is yours. Funds can be held until those checks are complete, so sending them before your first withdrawal saves time.
Amazon Slots Customer Support
Support is by live chat on the site and by email at support@thesixgaming.ca; there is no phone line. The FAQ says emails are answered within two business days, so chat is the route for anything urgent, as the terms themselves advise.
Formal complaints go to complaints@thesixgaming.ca within six months of the problem, with a detailed explanation and any evidence. Two conditions are unusual: you must answer the operator’s follow-up within four weeks or the file closes, and no complaint can be logged in the week after a withdrawal request. If the internal process fails, you can go to iGaming Ontario at 1-833-554-4263, or to the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
Is Amazon Slots Safe?
Amazon Slots is registered with the AGCO and works under an iGaming Ontario agreement, so your account and any dispute fall under Ontario rules. Two parts of the terms deserve attention before you deposit.
Inactive accounts cost $10 a month
An account with no login for twelve months becomes inactive. Amazon Slots then writes to say there is a balance to withdraw; if nothing happens within 30 days, it may deduct a $10 monthly administration fee until the balance is gone or you log in again. Twelve months is a short fuse by Ontario standards, though a single login resets it. Withdraw what you do not plan to play.
Limits that cover more than one site
Deposit limits and self-exclusion at Amazon Slots apply across every site The Six Gaming runs, not just this one. That is a protection: a limit you set here cannot be sidestepped by opening an account at a sister site. Loss and time limits, by contrast, apply to this site only.
