Is Lucky Days Legal in Ontario?

Yes. Lucky Days appears in the iGaming Ontario register of regulated sites, listed for casino only, under the legal entity L7 Entertainment Ltd. The operator publishes its own licence details in the footer of its Ontario pages, which is more than several competitors do: “L7 Entertainment Ltd, having its address at Level 1, Burlington Complex, Dragonara Road, St. Julians, Malta, is licensed and regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) under License OPIG1242643.”

There is a catch, and it is the single most important thing on this page. The address the provincial register links to is not the Ontario casino. The register points at luckydays.ca. The Ontario product lives at luckydays.ca/on. Open the bare domain and you land on a different casino, run by a different company, licensed by a different regulator — with no mention of the AGCO anywhere on the page. The section below shows what that looks like.

Who Actually Runs Lucky Days in Ontario

Filter the provincial register by legal entity and L7 Entertainment Limited returns exactly one site: Lucky Days. It is a Malta company, and it is the party the AGCO contracted with.

The name is not stable across the places you would check it, which is worth knowing if you go looking. On the Canadian App Store the publisher is L7 ENTERTAINMENT LIMITED. On Google Play the same app is published by Lucky7 Entertainment. On the register it is L7 Entertainment Limited. Three spellings of one company across three official listings — not a problem in itself, but it makes verifying the operator harder than it needs to be.

Behind L7 sits Lucky 7, the Malta operator founded by Olof Orn, Karl Ahlberg and Magnus Petersson, which took its initial outside investment in early 2019. In July 2020 the Romanian betting group Superbet acquired a 60% majority stake. So the company behind Lucky Days in Ontario is majority-owned by a Central and Eastern European betting group, which no page on the site mentions.

The Ontario timeline is short and well documented. LuckyDays made its first regulated-market debut in Sweden on 15 July 2022, on the Gaming Innovation Group platform. The AGCO licence for Ontario came into effect on 13 October 2022, and the brand went live in the province on 3 November 2022 — its second regulated market, and less than four months after its first.

One more detail from the operator’s own configuration. The Ontario site carries a licence object that reads authority “Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO)”, jurisdiction “Ontario, Canada” — and number “AGCO-XXXX”. A placeholder, still in place, on the live Ontario site. The correct number is in the footer three lines below it, so nothing is misrepresented to players; it is simply a field nobody filled in.

Three Casinos at One Address

luckydays.ca serves three different casinos, and which one you get depends on where you are sitting. There is /on for Ontario, /ab for Alberta, and the bare domain for everyone else. They look almost identical. They are not the same product, they are not run by the same company, and they do not give you the same protections.

That screenshot is the footer served to us when we requested luckydays.ca/on — the Ontario path — from a Canadian address outside the province. It reads: “LuckyDays is a brand name of Monkey 9 Limited, Reg No. 391776, having its registered address at Katalanou, 11, Flat/Office 11, 1100, Nicosia, Cyprus, licensed to conduct online gaming operations by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, license number: 1041 issued 27th May 2025.”

Different company. Different country. Different regulator. The AGCO is not mentioned, and neither is L7 Entertainment. The region selector in the corner reads “Other Provinces”, and there is a link offering to take you to the Ontario site — from the URL that already said /on.

This matters because the provincial register links to the bare domain. A player who does the responsible thing — checks the iGaming Ontario register, clicks the official link — arrives at the Kahnawake casino, not the AGCO one. The operator has correctly separated the two products underneath; what is wrong is the signpost.

What changes between the three

The differences are not cosmetic. We read the responsible-gambling configuration the operator serves on each of the three paths, and the protections available to you vary by which one you are on.

Read that column by column. Ontario is the best-protected of the three, and by some distance: it is the only one of the three with self-exclusion switched on, and the only path where deposit limits, loss limits and a deposit lock are all present at once. The Kahnawake product has none of the four.

That is the argument for the province’s framework in a single table, made by the operator’s own configuration rather than by anybody’s opinion. It is also the reason the signposting problem is worth taking seriously: the difference between landing on /on and landing on the bare domain is the difference between having self-exclusion and not having it.

One last detail from the same files. On the Kahnawake version, the regulatory small-print field that should carry the statistical-risk warning still reads [PPC_TEXT_NOT_CONFIGURED]. On the Ontario version it is filled in properly, with the wording the Registrar’s Standards call for.

Lucky Days Casino Games in Ontario

The Ontario lobby organises itself into eighteen shelves, and one of them is built specifically for this province. In order, as the site serves them: New Games, Recommended, Popular, Ontario Players Love, The New Reel Thing, Buy Feature, Jackpots, Slots, Game Shows, Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Poker, Asian Games, Table Games, Crash Games, Arcade Games and Plinko.

On size, the operator gives two different answers and they do not agree. The Ontario site says “Over 2000 games to play”. The App Store creative for the Ontario app says “2900+ GAMES AT YOUR FINGERTIPS”. That is a 900-title gap between two figures the same company published, so this review quotes both and treats neither as a count. The eight studios the site names on its own Ontario page are iSoftBet, Microgaming, NetEnt, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play, Push Gaming, Quickspin and Red Tiger.

Ontario Players Love

This is the only shelf on the site built for this province, which makes it the most interesting one to look at closely. It holds nine positions and eight distinct games: Buffalo Power 2: Hold and Win occupies two of them, side by side. The rest are Amazing Link Zeus, Buffalo King Megaways, Sugar Rush, 9 Masks of Fire, 3 Pots Riches: Hold and Win, Cash Strike and Big Piggy Bank.

Where to start: 9 Masks of Fire and Amazing Link Zeus are both Games Global and both appear on most Ontario lobbies, so they are the fairest way to compare this site against the others in the province.

Slots

The slots shelf is Pragmatic Play and Games Global heavy, which matches the studio list the operator publishes. It is where the recognisable Ontario staples sit — Sweet Bonanza, Gates of Olympus, Book of Dead, Sugar Rush, Big Bass Splash, Buffalo King Megaways — alongside a good showing of Games Global link mechanics.

Where to start: Book of Dead is the most portable reference point in the province: it appears on almost every Ontario lobby, so it is the game to open first if you are comparing sites rather than looking for something new.

New Games and Buy Feature

New Games is the largest shelf on the page at eighteen positions, and there is a second one, The New Reel Thing, doing similar work. Titles like Eastern Fury, Blazing Bison Unleashed, Minted Mike, Toxic Waste and Unigoat are recent studio output rather than back catalogue, which suggests the platform ingests releases reasonably quickly for a site of this size.

Where to start: the Buy Feature shelf next door is the more useful one if you want to know what you are getting into — every title on it lets you pay to enter the feature round directly, which is the fastest way to burn a balance and worth understanding before you use it.

Jackpots

Lucky Days runs a dedicated Jackpots shelf. What it does not do is publish a running total anywhere on the Ontario pages, so unlike some competitors in this province there is no public figure to quote and none is quoted here.

Where to start: the Hold and Win family dominates this shelf — a fixed-pot mechanic rather than a province-wide progressive pool, which is a different proposition from the networked jackpots at the larger Ontario operators.

Roulette

Roulette has its own shelf, separate from the live tables, and covers the standard spread of wheels.

Where to start: stay on the European wheels. The American wheel has a second zero and a materially worse house edge for exactly the same bets, and both sit on the same shelf without any label telling you so.

Blackjack, Baccarat and Table Games

Blackjack, Baccarat, Poker and Table Games each get their own shelf, plus an Asian Games shelf that mostly carries baccarat and dragon-tiger variants. The Poker shelf is the smallest on the page at five positions.

Where to start: open a table’s rules panel before you sit, particularly on blackjack — whether the table pays 3:2 or 6:5 on a natural changes the maths more than any strategy decision you will make at it.

Live Dealer and Game Shows

The Game Shows shelf carries the formats you would expect, and Live Casino is a top-level section of the site rather than a shelf. Between them they cover the standard live-studio catalogue available to Ontario operators.

Where to start: the game-show formats have the widest gap between how they look and what they cost per round of anything on this site. Watch one round before betting on it.

Crash, Arcade and Plinko

Three shelves the larger Ontario lobbies often do not bother with: Crash Games, Arcade Games and a Plinko shelf of its own. It is a genuine point of difference — these formats are usually a footnote elsewhere in the province, and here they get top billing on the games page.

Where to start: crash games settle far faster than slots and the round length makes losses accumulate quickly. If you try them, set the session limit first — Lucky Days offers 15-minute sessions in Ontario, the shortest option it gives anywhere.

The Lucky Days App

Lucky Days ships two separate apps in the Canadian stores, and telling them apart matters more here than at any other operator in the province.

On Android, the Ontario app is the package mx.luckydays.games, rated 3.4 from 517 ratings with 100,000+ installs, last updated 10 August 2026. Its store description is one of the more complete regulatory disclosures we have read in this province — it names the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, then the AGLC and the AiGC for Alberta, and prints the correct age for each: 19+ in Ontario, 18+ in Alberta.

Two things about these listings do not add up, and both are the operator’s own doing.

The first is that the app for Ontario is also the app for Alberta. One binary, two provinces, two regulators, two legal ages. The store creatives show it plainly: the header image reads “ONTARIO & ALBERTA”, the iGaming Ontario mark and the Alberta iGaming Corp mark sit side by side on the same panel, and the final creative in the Ontario listing closes with the Alberta footer — the AiGC logo, GameSense, and ABiGaming.ca — rather than the Ontario one.

The second is that the Kahnawake app is illustrated with Ontario artwork. Five of the six screenshots in the “Lucky Days Casino – Canada” listing are files named Ontario_-_iOS_6,9_-_ENG_19 through _23. The creatives for the casino that is not regulated in Ontario were produced from the Ontario set and never replaced.

The $1 minimum deposit is the smallest of any app we compared, against $10 almost everywhere else — set against one of the weakest iPhone ratings. Both sit side by side in our Ontario casino app comparison.

How to Sign Up and Log In at Lucky Days Ontario

1. Type luckydays.ca/on and check the footer before anything else. If it names L7 Entertainment Ltd and licence OPIG1242643, you are on the Ontario casino. If it names Monkey 9 Limited and the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, you are not — use the “visit our Ontario site” link in that same footer.
2. Register with the name, date of birth and address that match your ID. Identity verification is a hard requirement here and it also gates the daily rewards feature, so a mismatch blocks more than just withdrawals.
3. Expect an SMS code. Registration sends a five-digit verification code to your phone, so use a number you can receive on immediately.
4. Set your deposit, loss and session limits before you fund the account. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately; raising one triggers a cooling-off period. Ontario is also the only one of this operator’s three regions where loss limits and self-exclusion are both available — use them.
5. Clear the location check. The site verifies you are physically in Ontario before you can play, and runs a responsible-gaming confirmation step alongside it.

Deposit limits can be set daily, weekly or monthly, from a minimum of $20 up to $100,000 in each period.

Lucky Days Payments in Ontario

The operator advertises “Deposits start from $1” on its Ontario pages and instant withdrawals alongside it. Apple Pay is promoted as a recent addition, and the cashier panel in the Ontario store creative shows Neosurf with a $1–$250 range.

Those are the operator’s own claims, not measured figures. Where a competitor publishes per-method limits in full — as Casino Days does in its own store creative — Lucky Days does not, so there is no table of minimums and maximums to reproduce.

What is documented is the account-side plumbing: payments are handled through the operator’s own cashier, the Ontario product runs on infrastructure separate from the Kahnawake one, and a deposit lock is available on the Ontario path — a control that is switched off on the bare domain.

Lucky Days Customer Support

Support is live chat, and the operator states it is staffed 24/7. The help panel is built into the site under “Need Help?” with a “Chat with us” action, and the same panel is reachable from the app.

There is no published email address and no telephone number for Lucky Days support in Ontario — not on the site, not in either store listing. It is worth knowing in advance: if chat is unavailable, there is no documented second route.

One route that is documented, and is not the operator’s: the Ontario footer prints Connex Ontario on 1-866-531-2600, the free provincial helpline, and links to BetGuard for provincial self-exclusion in both English and French.

Is Lucky Days Safe? Licence, Ownership and History

On the regulated fundamentals, Lucky Days does better than several larger names in this province. It publishes its AGCO licence number in its own footer, it names the regulator in its store listings, it prints the provincial helpline, it links to BetGuard, and its Ontario path carries the fullest set of player-protection controls of the three regions it operates. We found no AGCO monetary penalty or public enforcement action against L7 Entertainment Ltd. That is worth stating plainly, because the operator it is most often compared with in this province — Casino Days — was fined $54,000 by the regulator in June 2025.

The problems are all of the same kind: things that were set up once and never revisited.

None of these takes money from a player. Together they describe an operator whose Ontario product is properly separated where the regulation bites and carelessly assembled everywhere else — and the register link is the one that could actually put someone on the wrong casino.

Two notes. The absence of a reality check — a periodic on-screen reminder of elapsed time and net position — is a real gap, and it applies across all three of this operator’s regions. Lucky Days is a small site by Ontario standards and it does not pretend otherwise. Where it stands out is disclosure, and where it falls short is scale.

The direct comparison worth making is with Casino Days, because the two are near-opposites. Casino Days has roughly ten times the catalogue and tells you almost nothing about its licence. Lucky Days has a fraction of the games and publishes its licence number, its regulator, its helpline and its self-exclusion route. If you want the biggest lobby, that decision is easy. How We Reviewed Lucky Days Ontario

We began at the iGaming Ontario register, filtered by legal entity, and confirmed that L7 Entertainment Limited holds one Ontario site — and that the register links to the bare domain rather than to the Ontario path.

The licence number, the operator’s address, the Connex Ontario number and the age rule were read from the footer the operator serves on its own Ontario pages. The comparison between the three regions was built by requesting /on, /ab and the bare domain separately and reading the responsible-gambling configuration each one returns — which is where the deposit-limit, loss-limit, self-exclusion, deposit-lock and session figures come from, and where the “AGCO-XXXX” placeholder and the unconfigured warning text were found.

The shelves and the games in them were taken from the Ontario games page as the operator serves it, in document order, which is how the duplicate in the Ontario Players Love shelf turned up. App facts came from the Canadian App Store and Google Play listings and from the operator’s own creatives read at native resolution — including the filenames of the Kahnawake app’s screenshots.

What we could not do. Requested from outside the province, luckydays.ca/on serves the Kahnawake version in a browser — which is how the footer above was captured, and it is reproduced as evidence of that behaviour, not as a picture of the Ontario lobby. The game shelves illustrated here are built from the images the Ontario games page itself serves. We have not held an account. Deposit and withdrawal times, the limits panel, the verification flow and support response times have not been tested from the inside, and every operator figure in this review is attributed to the operator.
