Live casino Ontario players are spoiled for tables: we counted 4,568 live dealer titles across eleven Ontario lobbies in October 2026, from 714 at BET99 down to 105 at FanDuel — and Betano, counted in its review, runs about 790 on its own. More than half of all those tables are blackjack.
What the lobbies do not tell you is what each table returns, who deals it and what it costs to sit down. In one large licensed catalogue that publishes all three, live blackjack averages 99.04% but runs from 89.64% to 99.59%, game shows return between 95% and 98.75%, and the same branded table can publish two different figures. This page counts the floors, names the studios and shows which tables are worth your seat. It is the live chapter of our guide to casino games in Ontario.

Live Casino Ontario at a Glance
Every number below is counted from Ontario lobbies read from Toronto, not estimated. If you read one table on this page, read this one.
| What we measured | The count | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Live titles in eleven Ontario lobbies | 4,568 | Every lobby we counted carries at least a hundred |
| Largest live floor | Betano, about 790; BET99, 714 | Mostly extra blackjack seats, not extra games |
| Share that is blackjack | 57% | 2,599 of 4,568 live titles |
| Studio present in every lobby | Evolution — 10 of 10 | Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette are nearly everywhere |
| Average published RTP, live blackjack | 99.04% | Range 89.64% to 99.59% |
| Average published RTP, game shows | 96.71% | Two to three points below blackjack |
| Tables you can join for $1 or less | 199 of 517 | In the one catalogue that publishes stakes table by table |
| Highest table maximum | $100,000 | 88 tables ask $100 or more to sit down |
Two rows deserve a second look. The size of a live floor is mostly blackjack — a lobby with 700 tables does not have seven times the games of one with 100, it has more seats at the same games, at more stake levels. And the RTP spread inside live blackjack is ten points, which is far more than the difference between any two casinos. The table you choose matters more than where you play it.
The Biggest Live Casinos in Ontario, Counted
For eleven Ontario casinos we read the full list of live titles each lobby loads and sorted them by game. One rule applies to all of them, so the rows compare like with like.
| Casino | Live titles | Blackjack | Roulette | Baccarat | Game shows | Main studios |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| BET99 | 714 | 478 | 57 | 111 | 20 | Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Ezugi |

| ComeOn | 597 | 324 | 82 | 107 | 29 | Pragmatic Play Live, Evolution, Playtech |
| ToonieBet | 523 | 293 | 112 | 67 | 20 | Pragmatic Play Live, Evolution, Playtech |

| FanDuel * | 105 | 15 | 20 | 16 | 21 | Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live |
The order is not the one most rankings print. BET99, a Canadian brand, carries the largest itemised live floor we counted, ahead of Mr Vegas, ComeOn and BetRivers, each with around 600. ToonieBet has the most live roulette, more than 110 wheels, and ComeOn leans on Pragmatic Play Live more than on Evolution. At the other end, FanDuel and the Pala-platform casinos PlayFallsview and Stardust send you into Evolution’s own lobbies rather than listing tables one by one.
Our reviews add the operators whose live floors we measured on their own pages:

Two numbers stand out. Betano runs the deepest floor in the province, with 413 live blackjack tables and 153 baccarat tables. Jackpot City, one of the most searched casino names in Canada, runs about 22 live tables from OnAir and Pragmatic Play Live only — so no Evolution, no Crazy Time and no Lightning Roulette. Our full ranking of operators is in the best online casinos in Ontario.

Ontario Live Casinos, One by One
The tables above say how big each floor is. This section says what it is like: which studios run it, which tables carry the operator’s name, and where a new player should sit first. Casinos are grouped by the size of their live floor.
Betano: the deepest floor in the province
Betano’s live casino has its own tab and its own rails, and it is where the brand is strongest: 413 blackjack tables, 153 baccarat tables, around 135 roulette wheels and 90 game shows, from Evolution, Playtech, Pragmatic Play Live and Stakelogic. A Live From Vegas rail of fourteen tables is streamed from Las Vegas properties, including a Bellagio-branded baccarat table, with minimums from C$0.20 to C$100.
Where to start: the Live From Vegas rail for low-minimum tables with the best production. Full review: Betano Ontario.
BET99: the largest floor we counted table by table
BET99’s live page shows 663 tables; the game list behind it holds 714 live tables once Evolution’s First Person software versions are taken out — 478 of them blackjack and 111 baccarat. Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live supply nearly all of it, with Ezugi alongside. About fifteen live and table games carry BET99’s name, among them ONE Blackjack, BlackjackX, Breakaway Blackjack and BET99 versions of Pragmatic’s roulette and baccarat rooms.
Where to start: BET99 ONE Blackjack, where any number of players share the hand, so there is always a seat.
Mr Vegas: 645 tables from five studios
Mr Vegas lists 645 live tables — 430 blackjack, 92 baccarat and 51 roulette — from Evolution (331), Pragmatic Play Live (246), OnAir (37), Stakelogic (19) and Awager. It is one of the few Ontario lobbies to carry Stakelogic and OnAir alongside the two big studios, and its game-payout page publishes the actual return of live tables such as Lightning Roulette, not only the theoretical one.

Where to start: the game-payout page before you choose a wheel — it is the only place in Ontario that shows what live tables have actually paid.
BetRivers: one app, about 600 tables
Live dealer has its own door in the BetRivers app’s bottom bar, next to Sports, and opens on about 600 tables: Evolution 334, Pragmatic 145, Playtech 85 and Ezugi 36. Speed blackjack alone runs to 137 tables and high-limit blackjack to 101. Five tables are BetRivers’ own — BetRivers Blackjack 1 and 2, Exclusive VIP Blackjack, Private VIP Blackjack and BetRivers Auto Roulette.
Where to start: the Live Casino tab in the bottom bar, not the live rows in the main lobby, which show only a promoted slice. Review: BetRivers Ontario.
ComeOn: Pragmatic first
ComeOn’s live floor is large for the size of its lobby: 597 live tables, and unusually it leans on Pragmatic Play Live (293) rather than Evolution. Playtech supplies 109 and Games Global 28. Five tables carry the operator’s name, ComeOn! Blackjack X 1 to 5, and the Ruby Lounge adds fourteen private Evolution tables.
Where to start: the Ruby Lounge if you want a quieter private table. Review: ComeOn Ontario.
ToonieBet: the most live roulette
ToonieBet’s live lobby draws on seven studios — Pragmatic Play Live, Evolution, Playtech, Ezugi, OnAir, Skywind and Stakelogic — and has the most live roulette we counted, 112 wheels. Playtech’s share includes 13 Live from Las Vegas tables from the MGM Grand and the Bellagio, and ten live poker tables play against the house.
Where to start: the Roulette and Blackjack filters at the top of the lobby, sorted by the stake range printed on each tile. Review: ToonieBet Ontario.
PlayOJO, SlotsMagic and Spin Genie: the catalogue that publishes everything
These three brands share one licensed catalogue, and it is the only one in Ontario that publishes RTP, minimum and maximum stake for every live table — which is why the RTP and stake figures on this page come from it. PlayOJO’s own live shelf shows 486 dealt tables; Evolution is the largest supplier and Playtech the second, with Mega Fire Blaze tables that put a progressive pot on a blackjack hand.
Where to start: a Playtech Studio 21 table if the published RTP matters to you. Reviews: PlayOJO, SlotsMagic, Spin Genie.
888 Casino: four studios in balance
888’s Ontario live floor holds 485 tables, and it is one of very few with four studios in real numbers: Evolution 197, Playtech 134, Pragmatic Play 114 and eZugi 40. Between them the stakes run from C$0.10 to four-figure tables. The live tab has its own category filters, which is the only practical way to find one table among several hundred.
Where to start: filter by New Games, then by minimum stake. Review: 888 Casino Ontario.
Bally Bet: Bally’s Live tables
Bally Bet’s live section lists 270 tables, including a row of Bally’s Live branded tables at the top of the lobby. For a casino with a 1,223-title catalogue, live dealer is a large share of what it offers.

Yukon Gold and the Apollo casinos: 210 Pragmatic tables
The seven Apollo casinos — Yukon Gold, Zodiac, Captain Cooks, Casino Classic, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial and Luxury — share one live floor of 210 Pragmatic Play Live tables, about a hundred of them blackjack. Before you log in, the lobby shows them as a single tile, which is why they are easy to miss. There is no Evolution. The tables named after their dealer — Real Roulette with Bailey and the other Real Dealer Studios titles — sit under Table Games, correctly: they are filmed with a real dealer but resolved by a random number generator.
Where to start: a Pragmatic Speed Blackjack table. Review: Yukon Gold Ontario.
Casino Days: Evolution almost alone
Casino Days lists 229 live tables, and the supplier split is stark: Evolution runs 186, OnAir 39 and the rest come from NetEnt, Play’n GO and Hacksaw. Live blackjack alone is 97 tables and live baccarat 43; VIP blackjack rooms carry higher minimums than the unnamed tables.
Where to start: Auto-Roulette, which runs without a seat and shows you the stream quality first. Review: Casino Days.
Caesars Palace Online: 202 Evolution and Ezugi tables
The Ontario live floor holds 202 tables — 189 from Evolution and 13 from Ezugi: 111 blackjack, 25 roulette, 17 baccarat, plus sic bo, live craps and the game shows. Caesars-branded tables exist in the United States; none of the 202 in the Ontario lobby carries the Caesars name.
Where to start: Lightning Roulette for the multiplier, a classic Evolution blackjack table for the lowest edge. Review: Caesars Palace Online.
BetMGM: Live from Las Vegas
BetMGM runs 160+ live tables in two sections: a standard Live Casino floor from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Playtech, and Live from Las Vegas, run with Playtech and streamed from MGM Resorts properties including the MGM Grand and the Bellagio — the closest thing in Ontario to a table on the Strip.
Where to start: a Live from Las Vegas table at the low-limit end. Review: BetMGM Ontario.
Lucky Days: 186 tables and 21 game shows
Lucky Days holds 186 live tables from Pragmatic Play (77), Evolution (70) and Playtech (39), and a Game Shows shelf of 21 titles — Crazy Time, MONOPOLY Live, Funky Time, Ice Fishing, Mega Ball and the Pragmatic formats.
Where to start: watch one round of a game show before you bet on it. Review: Lucky Days.
Betway: Evolution plus its own OnAir rooms
Betway runs 146 live tables from two studios: OnAir Entertainment deals the Betway-branded rooms and Evolution everything else, from Immersive Roulette through the Lightning family to the game shows. That makes it the Super Group brand with Lightning Roulette and Monopoly Live — its sister Jackpot City has neither.
Where to start: Immersive Roulette for the production. Review: Betway Ontario.
NorthStar Bets: Playtech only
NorthStar Bets’ live lobby counts 115 games and runs on Playtech rather than Evolution — All Bets Blackjack, Quantum Roulette, Mega Fire Blaze Roulette and two of the operator’s own, NorthStar Elite Blackjack and NorthStar VZN Blackjack 1. Fourteen are Live from Las Vegas tables from the MGM Grand and the Bellagio.
Where to start: NorthStar Elite Blackjack. Review: NorthStar Bets.
bet365: the branded blackjack floor
bet365’s live floor is split into Featured, bet365 Exclusives, Baccarat & Dice, Blackjack, Roulette, Game Shows and Poker & Lotto Ball: 41 live blackjack tables, 17 baccarat and dice, 12 poker and lotto ball and about 15 roulette wheels, from Evolution, Playtech and Pragmatic Play Live. Fifteen of the blackjack tables carry the bet365 name — no other Ontario casino runs a branded blackjack floor at that scale.
Where to start: the bet365 Exclusives tab. Review: bet365 Ontario.
Sports Interaction: Playtech first
Sports Interaction’s live floor runs to about 100 tables with Playtech as the main supplier and Evolution alongside: around 21 game shows, 21 roulette wheels, 19 blackjack tables and 14 baccarat. Some tables are localised — Ontario Blackjack, Canada Blackjack. Despite sharing an owner with BetMGM, it does not carry the Live from Las Vegas studio.
Where to start: Ontario Blackjack. Review: Sports Interaction.
PointsBet, SpinAway and PowerPlay
PointsBet lists more than 90 tables and game shows in one grid, Evolution among them, with a Canada Blackjack table and a Bet Stacker Blackjack series. SpinAway’s Ontario floor holds 86 live titles, 48 from Evolution and 36 from Pragmatic. PowerPlay runs about 35 rooms from Playtech and Pragmatic Play, with no Evolution — start with Infinite Blackjack, where unlimited seating means you never wait.
Jackpot City: 22 tables, two studios
Jackpot City’s live floor is the clearest exception in the province: about 22 named tables from OnAir Entertainment and Pragmatic Play only. No Evolution means no Crazy Time, no Monopoly Live, no Lightning Roulette and no Dream Catcher. If you play slots and drop into a live table occasionally, it is enough; if live dealer is the reason you choose a casino, it is not. Review: Jackpot City Ontario.
Single-studio floors: DAZN Bet and Toppz
Two newer Ontario casinos take every live table from Pragmatic Play Live. DAZN Bet lists 27 tables plus links into Pragmatic’s lobbies, including DAZN Bet-branded rooms; Toppz carries Mega Roulette, Money Time, BlackjackX, ONE Blackjack and Speed Baccarat. Both are respectable ranges, but there are no Evolution game shows or Lightning tables at either.

Royal Vegas, Spin Casino and Ruby Fortune
Jackpot City’s three sister casinos under Cadtree Limited follow the same pattern: the live tab of the Royal Vegas app shows Pragmatic Play Live and On Air tables, not Evolution, and Ruby Fortune publishes no table count, which tells you live dealer is a supporting act there rather than the main draw.

PlayFallsview and Stardust: Evolution lobbies
The two casinos on the Pala platform do not list live tables one by one. PlayFallsview opens Evolution’s own lobbies — blackjack, roulette, poker, baccarat and game shows — plus its own PlayFallsview Blackjack table, the online arm of the Niagara Falls casino; Stardust works the same way. The tables are all there once you enter, but you cannot count them before you register.

Who Deals the Cards: the Live Studios in Ontario
Live casino in Ontario is a short supply chain. Six studios deal almost every table, and one of them is in every lobby we counted.
| Studio | Lobbies carrying it | Tables we counted | What it is known for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Evolution | 10 of 10 | 2,141 | Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, Monopoly, Infinite Blackjack, the First Person range |
| Pragmatic Play Live | 8 of 10 | 1,398 | Mega Roulette, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, ONE Blackjack, Speed Baccarat |
| Playtech | 6 of 10 | 434 | Adventures Beyond Wonderland, Deal or No Deal The Big Draw, MGM Grand and Bellagio tables |
| Ezugi | 4 of 10 | 143 | Blackjack, roulette and baccarat tables |
| OnAir | 3 of 10 | 92 | Blackjack and roulette; the live supplier at Jackpot City |
| Stakelogic | 3 of 10 | 35 | Roulette, including Glam Roulette at 99.50% published |
Evolution supplies about half of every live floor we counted, and most of the famous titles. Pragmatic Play Live is the clear second and the main supplier at ComeOn and ToonieBet. Playtech is strongest at casinos that use its platform — Sports Interaction, PowerPlay and NorthStar Bets — and runs the Live from Las Vegas tables streamed from the MGM Grand and the Bellagio, which in Ontario you find at BetMGM, LeoVegas, NorthStar Bets and ToonieBet. Because the studios are shared, a Lightning Roulette table at one Ontario casino is the same stream as at another; the differences are the stake limits, the branded tables and the operator’s cashier.
Evolution and Ezugi
Evolution is the studio behind most of the famous live formats — Lightning Roulette, Crazy Time, MONOPOLY Live, Infinite Blackjack — and the only one in every Ontario lobby where we could name the supplier of each table. It also owns Ezugi, the smaller studio that fills out blackjack, roulette and baccarat at BET99, BetRivers, ToonieBet, Caesars Palace Online and 888. The practical consequence: at most Ontario casinos, well over half of the live floor comes from one company.
Pragmatic Play Live
Pragmatic Play Live is the clear second studio and the only one at the Apollo casinos, DAZN Bet and Toppz. Its signature tables are Mega Roulette, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand and ONE Blackjack, and it runs the province’s highest-limit rooms: the Privé Lounge tables take up to $100,000 a hand. It is also the studio that tends to offer the cheapest seats.
Playtech
Playtech is strongest where the casino runs on Playtech’s platform — Sports Interaction, PowerPlay and NorthStar Bets. Its live catalogue has three things the others do not: the Live from Las Vegas tables streamed from the MGM Grand and the Bellagio; Mega Fire Blaze tables with a progressive pot on a dealt hand; and shows built for one operator group, such as Well Well Well Live, produced for Entain’s brands from Playtech’s studio in Riga.
OnAir, Stakelogic and Real Dealer
OnAir Entertainment, a Games Global affiliate, deals the Betway-branded rooms and is one of only two live suppliers at Jackpot City. Stakelogic supplies a handful of roulette tables — Glam Roulette publishes 99.50% — at Mr Vegas, the SkillOnNet brands, Betano and LeoVegas. Real Dealer Studios films real dealers for games whose results are decided by a random number generator; those are table games, not live ones, and the better lobbies file them that way.
Live Blackjack in Ontario
Blackjack is the live floor. In the catalogue that publishes figures table by table, 336 live blackjack tables average 99.04% — slightly above the 98.80% of the software blackjack in the same lobby. The average hides the edges:
- Free Bet Blackjack publishes 99.17%. A second table of the same game, Free Bet Blackjack 10, publishes 96.80% — same name, same studio, 2.4 points apart.
- Infinite Blackjack publishes 94.60% in this catalogue.
- Speed Blackjack K publishes 89.64%, the lowest live blackjack figure we found.
- The best published figures, up to 99.59%, include private and speed tables that start at $0.50.
Branded tables are where Ontario casinos compete. bet365 deals 15 blackjack tables under its own name, BET99 runs ONE Blackjack, BlackjackX and Breakaway Blackjack in its colours, and LeoVegas and BetMGM stream blackjack from MGM casino floors in Las Vegas. A branded table is the studio’s game with the operator’s dealer and limits; check the information panel for its own RTP. Strategy, rules and the full count are in our guide to online blackjack in Ontario.

Live blackjack variants explained
Most Ontario live floors carry the same handful of formats. Knowing them tells you what a table name means before you sit:
| Format | How it works | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Classic / VIP | Seven seats, one dealer, standard rules | Seats fill at peak hours; VIP rooms raise the minimum |
| Speed Blackjack | Players who decide first are dealt first | Faster rounds, same rules |
| Infinite / ONE Blackjack | Any number of players share the dealt hand and play it their own way | Always a seat; side bets are where the edge rises |
| Free Bet Blackjack | Free doubles on 9–11 and free splits except tens; a dealer 22 pushes | Published 99.17% at one table, 96.80% at another |
| Lightning Blackjack | Random multipliers on winning hands, paid for with a fee on each bet | The fee is part of the price; check the panel |
| Power Blackjack | Nines and tens removed; you can double or quadruple down | A different deck, so basic strategy changes |
| All Bets / Bet Behind | Bet on another player’s seat | You follow their decisions, good or bad |
Live Roulette in Ontario
Live roulette is the second-largest shelf: we counted 586 live wheels across the eleven lobbies. In the catalogue that publishes figures, live roulette averages 97.26%, and the range is set almost entirely by the number of zeros:
| Live wheel | Published RTP | What sets it |
|---|---|---|
| French Roulette (La Partage) | 98.65% | Half of even-money bets back on zero |
| XXXtreme Lightning Roulette | 97.30% | Single zero; multipliers reshape the payouts |
| European single-zero tables | 97.30% | One zero |
| Double Ball Roulette | 96.25% | Two balls, adjusted payouts |
| American Roulette (Evolution) | 94.74% | Two zeros: 0 and 00 |
One figure does not belong in that table. A table called American Roulette Live from MGM Grand publishes 99.50% — a number no double-zero wheel can return. It is almost certainly a labelling error in the feed rather than a better game; treat any American wheel as 94.74% whatever its panel says. The roulette chapter goes through every variant in our guide to online roulette in Ontario.
Live roulette variants explained
| Format | How it works | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Lightning Roulette | One to five lucky numbers each round carry 50x to 500x multipliers | Straight-up wins pay 29:1, not 35:1, to fund them |
| XXXtreme Lightning | More and larger multipliers, chained across rounds | Published 97.30% |
| Immersive Roulette | Slow-motion cameras follow every spin | Same rules as European, slower rounds |
| Auto / Speed Roulette | No dealer or a fast dealer, rounds of about 25 to 40 seconds | More rounds per hour means more money staked |
| Mega Roulette | Random multipliers on straight-up numbers | Pragmatic’s answer to Lightning |
| Double Ball | Two balls on one wheel, adjusted payouts | Published 96.25% |
| American | A wheel with 0 and 00 | Published 94.74%; avoid it if a single-zero wheel is open |
In Ontario, “live roulette” is searched more often than “live casino” itself, and it is the game where one decision — single zero or double — matters more than every other choice combined.
Live Baccarat in Ontario
Baccarat is almost entirely live in Ontario: at BET99, BetRivers, ComeOn and Mr Vegas more than nine in ten baccarat titles are dealt by a person. Published figures average 98.16% for live tables, below the 98.71% of the software tables in the same lobby, so check each table’s panel. Lightning Baccarat publishes 98.94%. The banker bet is still the best bet on any table — see our guide to online baccarat in Ontario.
Live baccarat variants explained
| Format | How it works | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Speed Baccarat | Rounds of about half a minute | Same odds, more hands per hour |
| No Commission | No 5% on banker wins; a banker win on 6 pays half | Similar edge, different shape |
| Squeeze | Cards are revealed slowly, corner by corner | Theatre, not odds |
| Lightning Baccarat | Random lightning cards carry multipliers, paid with a fee | Published 98.94% |
| Salon Privé | Private high-limit tables | Higher minimums |
| Dragon Tiger | One card each to Dragon and Tiger; higher wins | A baccarat cousin with a much larger tie edge |
Game Shows: What Crazy Time and the Others Return
Game shows are the live casino’s slot machines: big wheels, bonus rounds and multipliers, from $0.10 a spin. They also return less. In the catalogue that publishes them, game shows average 96.71% — more than two points below live blackjack.
| Game show | Studio | Published RTP | Minimum bet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fan Tan | Evolution | 98.75% | $0.20 |
| Deal or No Deal The Big Draw | Playtech | 98.45% | $0.10 |
| Lightning Storm | Evolution | 97.44% | $0.10 |
| Sweet Bonanza CandyLand | Pragmatic Play Live | 96.95% | $0.20 |
| Dream Catcher | Evolution | 96.67% | $0.10 |
| Mega Wheel | Pragmatic Play Live | 96.51% | $0.10 |
| Monopoly Live | Evolution | 96.23% | $1.00 |
| Lightning Dice | Evolution | 96.21% | $0.10 |
| Monopoly Big Baller | Evolution | 96.10% | $0.10 |
| Crazy Time | Evolution | 96.08% | $0.10 |
| Funky Time | Evolution | 95.99% | $0.10 |
| Marble Race | Evolution | 95.83% | $0.10 |
| Mega Ball | Evolution | 95.05–95.40% | $0.10 |
Crazy Time, the most famous of them, publishes 96.08%. Mega Ball sits at the bottom at 95.05% to 95.40%. Football Studio shows why a single figure can mislead: the main bet returns 96.27%, the tie bet 89.64%. If you play game shows, play them for the show and size the session to a slot-like return.

Crazy Time
Evolution’s flagship: a 54-segment wheel with numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10 and four bonus games — Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time itself — with a top-slot multiplier added each round. Published at 96.08%, it is in nearly every Ontario lobby with Evolution, from $0.10 a spin.
MONOPOLY Live and Big Baller
MONOPOLY Live adds a 3D board game with Mr Monopoly to a money wheel, at a published 96.23% with a $1 minimum. Monopoly Big Baller turns the format into a bingo-style ball draw, at 96.10% from $0.10.
Dream Catcher and Mega Wheel
The simplest shows are money wheels: you bet on the number the wheel will stop on, and multiplier segments raise the next spin. Evolution’s Dream Catcher publishes 96.67%; Pragmatic’s Mega Wheel 96.51%. The higher-paying segments are the ones with the larger house edge.
Funky Time and Lightning Storm
Funky Time spells its name around the wheel and adds disco-themed bonus rounds; it publishes 95.99%. Lightning Storm, a newer Evolution wheel game, publishes 97.44% — one of the better returns among the shows.
Mega Ball
A bingo-style draw: your cards hold 25 numbers, twenty balls are drawn, and a final Mega Ball multiplies any completed line. It publishes 95.05% to 95.40%, the lowest of the main shows.
Sweet Bonanza CandyLand
Pragmatic Play’s wheel with a slot inside: candy segments pay directly, and the Sweet Spins bonus launches a version of the Sweet Bonanza slot. Published 96.95% from $0.20.
Deal or No Deal, Fan Tan and Football Studio
Playtech’s Deal or No Deal The Big Draw publishes 98.45%, the best of the TV formats. Fan Tan, an old Chinese counting game in which you bet on the remainder when a pile of beads is counted off in fours, publishes 98.75%. Football Studio deals one card to Home and one to Away; the higher card wins, at 96.27%, while the draw bet returns 89.64%.

Live Poker, Dice and the Rest
Beyond the big three and the wheels, Ontario lobbies carry a small shelf of live casino poker — Casino Hold’em, Caribbean Stud, Three Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em — and dice games such as sic bo, craps and Bac Bo. In the catalogue we measured, live poker averages 98.01% and dice games 96.97%. These are games against the house, not against other players; for player-versus-player poker you need a separate poker site, which several Ontario operators run under their own licence.
Live casino poker, explained
Live casino poker is played against the dealer, not against other players, so there is no bluffing and no table to beat — only a hand to make. The formats you meet on Ontario floors:
| Game | How it works | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Casino Hold’em | You and the dealer get two cards; five community cards follow. After the flop you call (double your ante) or fold | The dealer must qualify with a pair of fours or better |
| Ultimate Texas Hold’em | Bet up to four times your ante before the flop, two times after it, or once at the river | Betting big early on strong hands is where the return comes from |
| Caribbean Stud | Five cards each, no draw; raise or fold after seeing your hand | The dealer qualifies with ace-king or better |
| Three Card Poker | Three cards each; play against the dealer or bet Pair Plus on your own hand | Pair Plus pays on your hand alone |
| Texas Hold’em Bonus | Hold’em against the dealer with betting on every street | More decisions than Casino Hold’em |
In the catalogue that publishes figures, live poker averages 98.01%, close to blackjack — but only if you follow each game’s simple strategy for when to call and when to fold. Playing every hand to the end costs far more.
Live dice games: sic bo, craps and Bac Bo
Sic bo is played with three dice in a shaker: you bet on totals, combinations or specific numbers, and the payouts rise with the odds. The plain “big” and “small” bets carry the lowest edge; the triples, which pay the most, carry the highest. Live craps works as it does in a land casino, with a dealer rolling for the table, and the pass line is the best simple bet. Bac Bo is baccarat played with dice instead of cards — Player and Banker each roll two dice and the higher total wins. In the catalogue we measured, live dice games average 96.97%, with a wide spread between the safest and the boldest bets.
What It Costs to Sit Down: Live Casino Stakes
Live tables are not only for high rollers. In the catalogue that publishes stakes table by table, 199 of 517 live tables accept $1 or less, game shows start at $0.10, and the cheapest live blackjack seat is $0.10 at Easy Blackjack. At the other end, 88 tables ask $100 or more per hand and the highest maximum is $100,000.
| Game type | Live tables | Average published RTP | Lowest minimum | Typical minimum |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Blackjack | 336 | 99.04% | $0.10 | $10 |
| Roulette | 59 | 97.26% | $0.01 | $0.20 |
| Baccarat | 52 | 98.16% | $0.20 | $1 |
| Game shows | 36 | 96.71% | $0.10 | $0.10 |
| Poker | 9 | 98.01% | $0.25 | $0.50 |
| Dice | 8 | 96.97% | $0.10 | $0.35 |
The typical live blackjack minimum is $10, not $1. Cheap seats exist — Easy Blackjack at $0.10, several private and speed tables at $0.50 — but there are fewer of them, and the largest floors give you the most chances of finding one free.
Stake bands at Ontario live tables
| Minimum bet | Live tables | Share |
|---|---|---|
| $0.50 or less | 129 | 25% |
| $0.51 to $1 | 70 | 14% |
| $1.01 to $5 | 109 | 21% |
| $5.01 to $25 | 81 | 16% |
| $25.01 to $100 | 62 | 12% |
| Over $100 | 66 | 13% |
Two in five live tables in that catalogue take $1 or less, and one in four takes 50 cents or less — mostly game shows, auto roulette and the shared-hand blackjack formats. At the top, Pragmatic Play’s Privé Lounge rooms take up to $100,000 a hand, with minimums of $100 on roulette and $1,000 on blackjack. Most tables cap out between $500 and $2,500; 177 allow more than $2,500.
Side bets are everywhere: 342 of the 517 tables offer at least one — Perfect Pairs and 21+3 at blackjack, pair bets at baccarat, multiplier add-ons at roulette. They are optional, and they are where the house edge rises fastest. Our blackjack guide prices the common ones.
Branded and Las Vegas Tables
The tables you will not find everywhere are the branded ones. Ontario operators lease dedicated tables from the studios, with their own dealers, colours and limits:
- bet365: 15 blackjack tables under its own name, inside a floor of more than 100.
- BET99: ONE Blackjack, BlackjackX, Breakaway Blackjack and First Person Lightning Roulette in BET99 colours.
- LeoVegas: a 20-table Exclusive shelf and a Live From Las Vegas section streamed from MGM properties.
- BetMGM: Live from Las Vegas tables alongside its main live casino, 160+ tables in all.
- PlayFallsview: its own PlayFallsview Blackjack table, the online arm of the Niagara Falls casino.

A branded table is the same game as the studio’s standard one, with different limits and a dealer who works only for that operator. It is a reason to prefer a casino if you like the format, not a sign of a better return.
How Live Casino Works in Ontario
A live table is a real table in a studio, filmed by several cameras and streamed to your screen; your bets go in through an on-screen interface and the result is read from the physical cards, wheel or dice. The studios serving Ontario’s private operators are mostly in Europe: Evolution said on the market’s opening day that licensed Ontario operators are served from its European studios, and its studio in New Westminster, British Columbia serves the provincial lottery corporations rather than private brands.
A “dedicated” or “branded” table is a room inside a shared studio reserved for one operator, with its own dealer, colours and limits — exclusive to that casino’s players, but not a separate building. DraftKings, for example, closed its own Atlantic City studio in January 2025 and now runs dedicated tables inside Evolution and Playtech studios.
Not everything with a person on screen is live. Tables such as Real Roulette with Bailey are filmed with a real dealer but the result is decided by a random number generator; well-run lobbies file them under table games. Evolution’s First Person games are software too. We left both out of every live count on this page.
Live Casino vs Software Tables
| Live dealer | Software (RNG) | |
|---|---|---|
| Average published RTP, blackjack | 99.04% | 98.80% |
| Average published RTP, roulette | 97.26% | 97.14% |
| Average published RTP, baccarat | 98.16% | 98.71% |
| Pace | Each round waits for the dealer and the other players | As fast as you click |
| Demo mode | No — a dealt hand cannot be free | Usually yes |
| Typical minimum bet | $10 at blackjack, $0.20 at roulette (median) | Set per game |
| Data use on mobile | High — it is a video stream | Low |
The returns are close; the difference is pace and price of entry. A live table plays fewer hands per hour, which can make a bankroll last longer than the same stake on a software table. It also costs more to sit at, and you cannot practise first.
Live Casino on Your Phone
Every Ontario live floor on this page works in the casino’s app and in a phone browser. Two practical points. Live tables are streamed video and use considerably more data than slots, so play them on Wi-Fi rather than a mobile plan. And geolocation re-checks while you play: a weak signal near a provincial border can interrupt a hand. Ratings and requirements of every Ontario casino app are in our guide to Ontario casino apps.
Live Jackpot Tables
A few Ontario casinos put a progressive pot on a dealt table. BetVictor has a Live Jackpot shelf of blackjack and roulette tables with a pot attached, and the SkillOnNet brands carry Playtech’s Mega Fire Blaze Blackjack and Roulette. The trade is the same as with jackpot slots: the money that funds the pot comes out of the base game, so a jackpot table returns less on ordinary play than a plain one.
The Best Live Casino for Each Kind of Player
There is no single best live casino in Ontario; there is a best one for what you play. These picks come from the counts and reviews on this page.
| If you want… | Go to | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The most tables of everything | Betano | About 790 live tables, the deepest floor we measured |
| The most blackjack seats | BET99, Mr Vegas, Betano | Each runs 400+ live blackjack tables |
| The most roulette wheels | ToonieBet | 112 live wheels, from seven studios |
| Branded blackjack | bet365 | 15 blackjack tables under its own name |
| Tables from Las Vegas | BetMGM, LeoVegas, NorthStar Bets | Live from Las Vegas: MGM Grand and Bellagio tables |
| Published RTP and stakes before you sit | PlayOJO, SlotsMagic | The only catalogue that publishes both for every table |
| Actual payouts, not just theoretical | Mr Vegas | Its game-payout page shows what tables have returned |
| Pragmatic Play Live first | ComeOn | 293 Pragmatic tables, more than its Evolution share |
| Playtech first | Sports Interaction, NorthStar Bets | Playtech is the main live studio at both |
| Game shows in one place | BetRivers, Lucky Days | Full Evolution and Pragmatic game-show shelves, Crazy Time to Sweet Bonanza CandyLand |
| Low stakes | 888 Casino, PlayOJO | Tables from C$0.10 |
| One app for live casino and sports | BetRivers | Live dealer has its own tab beside Sports |
Two cautions apply to every row. Table counts change daily, so treat them as the size of the floor rather than an exact number. And the studio, not the casino, decides the rules of a given game — a Lightning Roulette table pays the same at any of them.
What a Live Session Really Costs
The published RTP turns into money once you know how many rounds you will play. The cost of a session is simply stake × rounds × house edge, where the house edge is 100% minus the RTP. Per 100 rounds:
| Game | Stake per round | Published RTP | Expected cost per 100 rounds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live blackjack, basic strategy | $10 | 99.04% | $9.60 |
| Free Bet Blackjack (best table) | $10 | 99.17% | $8.30 |
| Live baccarat, banker bet | $10 | 98.94% | $10.60 |
| French roulette, even-money bets | $10 | 98.65% | $13.50 |
| European roulette | $10 | 97.30% | $27.00 |
| American roulette | $10 | 94.74% | $52.60 |
| Crazy Time | $1 | 96.08% | $3.92 |
| Mega Ball | $1 | 95.40% | $4.60 |
Read the table the right way round. These are averages over many rounds, not predictions for one session: a single evening can end well up or well down. What the table does tell you is the price of the entertainment. The same $10 a round costs about five times more on an American wheel than at a basic-strategy blackjack table, and a game show at $1 a spin costs less per hour than either, simply because the stake is smaller.
Pace matters too. Speed and auto tables play more rounds per hour, so the same edge costs more per hour even though nothing about the game is worse. If you want a session to last, a standard-speed table at a lower stake is the cheapest way to spend an evening.
Live Casino Rankings That Do Not Match the Register
Before you trust a list of “best live casinos in Ontario”, check it against the iGaming Ontario register. In October 2026, two live-casino rankings on the first page of Canadian results recommended Casumo and Wildz to Ontario players — neither is on the register, so neither can legally take an Ontario player’s money. One of them also credited Jackpot City with Evolution tables, when the Ontario lobby lists OnAir and Pragmatic Play Live only, and gave PlayOJO “85+” live tables, where we counted 517. Our reviews of the unregistered brands explain the risk; our guide to legal online gambling in Ontario explains what registration protects.
How to Start Playing Live Casino in Ontario
- Choose a registered casino. Any operator on the iGaming Ontario register; the tables on this page show which floors suit which player.
- Register and verify. You need to be 19 or older; most casinos confirm your identity automatically and ask for a document only if that fails.
- Allow location. Real-money play requires you to be physically in Ontario, and the check repeats while you play.
- Set your limits. Deposit and time limits take a minute in the account settings, before the first deposit.
- Open the live tab and filter. Filter by game, then by stake; the minimum and maximum are printed on most table tiles.
- Watch a round. Every table lets you watch before you bet. Check the stream quality and the information panel.
- Bet inside the window. Each round has a betting timer; when it closes, the dealer deals. On blackjack tables you then make your decisions in turn, or all at once on shared-hand tables.
What you will not see on an Ontario live casino is a bonus banner in public: the province restricts how gambling inducements are advertised, which is also why this page lists none. Offers, where they exist, appear inside the casino once you are registered.
How to Pick a Live Casino Table in Ontario
- Pick the game for its return, not its show. Blackjack with basic strategy and the banker bet in baccarat return around 99%; game shows return 95% to 97%.
- Open the information panel before you sit. The same game can publish different figures at different tables.
- Count the zeros on any roulette wheel. One zero costs 2.70%, two cost 5.26%.
- Match the minimum to your session. A $10 table needs a bankroll of several hundred dollars to last an hour.
- Check the operator is registered. Every Ontario-licensed casino shows the iGaming Ontario mark and is on the register.
Common Mistakes at Live Tables
Most of the money lost at live tables beyond the house edge goes on a few avoidable habits:
- Choosing the table by its show. The busiest tables are the game shows, which return the least. Pick the game first.
- Ignoring the zeros. American and European wheels sit side by side in most lobbies; the American one costs nearly twice as much per bet.
- Treating side bets as part of the game. They are separate wagers with their own, usually much higher, edge.
- Chasing the multiplier. Lightning and Mega formats pay for their multipliers by trimming normal payouts or charging a fee.
- Playing speed tables on a slow connection. A dropped stream can leave a decision to the default action.
- Following roadmaps and streaks. Baccarat scoreboards and roulette hot numbers describe the past; the next round does not know them.
- Sitting at a table above your session budget. A $25 minimum burns through $200 in a few unlucky hands.
Three tables to try first
If you are new to live casino, start where the published return is high and the minimum is low, and watch a few rounds before you bet. From the catalogue we measured:
- Free Bet Blackjack — 99.17% published, from $1. Free doubles and splits make the game more forgiving, though a dealer 22 pushes rather than loses.
- French Roulette — 98.65% published on even-money bets, because half your stake comes back when zero lands.
- Lightning Baccarat — 98.94% published, from $1, with the banker bet as the simplest choice at the table.
Check the information panel at the casino you choose: the same game can publish a different figure at a different table, and a lower one usually means different rules or a bigger fee.
Is Live Casino Legal and Fair in Ontario?
Yes, at registered operators. Live tables at an Ontario casino are supplied by studios registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and the games must meet the Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming, like every other game in the lobby. The cards and wheels are physical and the stream is live; the published RTP is the theoretical return of the rules, which is why the figure can be checked against the game. You must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario to play.

What Ontario’s Rules Mean at a Live Table
Live casino in Ontario runs under the same framework as every other game. The operator must be registered with the AGCO and have an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario; the studio supplying the table must be registered as a supplier; and the Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming apply to the game, the stream and the account. In practice that means four things for a player.
You must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario for every round, not just at login. Your money sits in a regulated account, separate from the operator’s own funds. Every casino must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and BetGuard lets you exclude yourself from all of them at once. And if something goes wrong at a table — a disconnected hand, a disputed result — you complain to the operator first and can then take it to iGaming Ontario.
How We Counted Ontario’s Live Tables
For eleven Ontario casinos we read, from a Toronto connection in October 2026, the full list of titles each lobby loads and kept those the operator marks as live dealer. We sorted them by game with one rule for all — by the name of the title — and recorded the studio the operator names. For the large licensed catalogue shared by PlayOJO, SlotsMagic, Spin Genie and Knightslots, the feed also publishes each table’s RTP, minimum and maximum stake, and those are the figures quoted for RTP and stakes on this page. Live figures for Betano, 888, BetMGM, Betway, bet365 and the other casinos in the second table come from our individual reviews.
Counts move every day as tables open and close, and lobbies list some lobby tiles as games; we removed those where the name says so. Our full process is in how we review casinos.
If a live session stops being fun, use the casino’s time-out rather than simply closing the tab. At BET99 and BetRivers, for example, a time-out takes effect at once and cannot be shortened once it is set, which is exactly what makes it useful.
Our totals will not always match the number a lobby shows on screen, and the differences are worth explaining. BET99’s live page shows 663 tables while the list behind it holds 714 live tables, because some enabled tables are not displayed on the page. ComeOn’s review counted 613 and Casino Days’ 229 including Evolution’s First Person games; we count 597 and 215 here because First Person titles are software. ToonieBet’s lobby shows 545 tables and shows, and PlayOJO’s live shelf 486 dealt tables, against 523 and 517 in the lists we read. None of these gaps changes the order of the table; all of them are why we print the count and the rule behind it.
Play Within Your Limits
Live games move fast, and the social feel of a real dealer can make a session run longer than you planned. Set deposit and time limits before you open a table, and use the reality checks every Ontario casino must offer. BetGuard lets you exclude yourself from every regulated site at once — see our guide to responsible gambling in Ontario. Which live casino game has the best RTP?
Live blackjack played with basic strategy, at an average published 99.04% in the catalogue we measured, and the banker bet in baccarat. Game shows return less: Crazy Time publishes 96.08% and Mega Ball 95.05% to 95.40%.
What is the minimum bet at an Ontario live casino?
