Every Ontario Casino That Takes Apple Pay
Fourteen of the thirty-two registered operators support Apple Pay somewhere in the cashier. Thirteen accept it for deposits, four credit withdrawals to it, and one — PlayOJO — pays out to Apple Pay without accepting it on the way in. Here is the whole province.

The eighteen operators not on this list publish no Apple Pay support at all. That includes every Casino Rewards brand, Betway, LeoVegas and Casino Days. If you filter Ontario by Apple Pay, you are choosing from fourteen sites, not from the province.
Ten Sites Take Apple Pay and Never Pay It Back
This is the number that matters and the one no comparison page prints. Of the thirteen operators that accept an Apple Pay deposit, ten cannot send a withdrawal to it: bet365, Betano, bwin, Caesars, DraftKings, Jackpot City, Lucky Days, PointsBet, Royal Panda and Sports Interaction.
Caesars is the only one that says so in plain language on its banking page — “Apple Pay is deposit-only” — and it is worth reading that sentence as the rule rather than the exception. PointsBet states the same principle more broadly: cards and mobile wallets are deposit-only, so whatever you fund with, your money comes back through Interac, PayPal or your bank.
The practical consequence is that an Apple Pay deposit almost always commits you to a different exit. Before you tap, decide how you are getting paid — in most cases that means having Interac e-Transfer set up, because it is the route that works in both directions at nearly every registered site.
Apple Pay Is Usually Not Available First
Spin Genie publishes a rule on its Ontario payment page that we have not seen stated anywhere else: Apple Pay “appears at the cashier only after you have made at least one deposit using another method.” Your very first top-up cannot use it.
The same page adds a second condition on the way out: “you can only withdraw with Apple Pay if you first deposited with Apple Pay.” Taken together, that means the two-way Apple Pay experience the marketing describes requires you to fund the account by card or Interac first, then deposit again with Apple Pay, and only then can you cash out to it.
That sequencing explains an otherwise confusing pattern. Operators list Apple Pay as a headline method while the cashier shows it to almost nobody on day one, which is also why so many players report the option missing and assume a fault with their device.
Apple Pay Is Your Card, Not a New Method
Apple Pay does not move money. The card in your Wallet does, and the network rules that govern that card govern the transaction. An Apple Pay deposit at an Ontario casino is a Visa or Mastercard transaction with a device token in front of it.
Three things follow from that, and all three are missing from the pages currently ranking for this term. If your bank blocks gambling on the underlying card, Apple Pay is blocked too — the token does not disguise the merchant category. If your card is credit rather than debit, your issuer can still treat the deposit as a cash advance. And the site’s card limits, not some separate Apple Pay limit, are what apply.
It also explains the withdrawal gap. Paying out to a card requires the operator to enable a push-payment product on that network, and our Visa and Mastercard guides show how few Ontario sites have done it. An operator that cannot push to your Visa cannot push to the same Visa in your Wallet.
How to Deposit With Apple Pay in Ontario
The flow is short and identical across the fourteen sites, with one condition worth checking first.
- Add a Canadian Visa or Mastercard to the Wallet app on your iPhone or iPad. Apple Pay at an Ontario casino needs a card, not a balance.
- If it is a brand-new account, make one deposit by another method — several operators only surface Apple Pay afterwards.
- Open the cashier in the operator’s app or in Safari and choose Apple Pay.
- Enter the amount and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
- Funds credit immediately. 888 Casino is the only operator to quote a figure, and it is a ceiling rather than a wait: up to ten minutes.
Apple Pay works on the web as well as in the apps, but only in Safari on an Apple device. If you play on a desktop browser or on Android, the option will not appear, and that is by design rather than a restriction the casino has chosen.
How Long an Apple Pay Withdrawal Really Takes
Two operators publish a timetable, and neither one is fast. The word “instant” that appears throughout this category describes deposits only.
PartyCasino is the most detailed cashier in the province and its Apple Pay figure is one to three business days — but that clock only starts after an internal review the operator describes as approximately 24 hours or up to two business days. Worst case, five business days from request to arrival.
888 Casino quotes withdrawals method by method and gives Apple Pay one day to accept plus up to five to process, so up to six business days. That is the same figure it gives for Visa, which is consistent with Apple Pay being a card underneath.
PlayOJO and Spin Genie name Apple Pay as a payout route without publishing a duration. Spin Genie does state there is no minimum withdrawal amount on payouts, which is unusual in a province where fifty-dollar floors still exist.
Apple Pay Minimums Across the Province
The published entry points run from one dollar to twenty. Lucky Days advertises deposits from $1 on its Ontario pages and promotes Apple Pay as a recent addition, which makes it the cheapest way to test the method. Betano and PartyCasino sit at $5, Caesars and PointsBet at C$5.
At the other end, Sports Interaction asks $20 and bet365 C$20. In every case these are the site’s general minimums; not one of the fourteen publishes a minimum specific to Apple Pay.
Spin Genie is the exception that proves how little of this content is written for Ontario. Its Ontario Apple Pay page states the minimum deposit is £10, in pounds, in a sentence that begins “Every UK online casino will have its own deposit limits.” The page is served on the operator’s Ontario subdomain and never corrects the currency.
Google Pay: Two Sites, Deposit Only
If you are on Android, the province is far narrower. Exactly two registered operators support Google Pay — Betano and PointsBet — and both accept it for deposits only. Nothing in Ontario pays a withdrawal to Google Pay.
Betano’s $5 entry applies to Interac, Apple Pay and Google Pay alike, and its $10 withdrawal floor applies across every method. PointsBet groups Google Pay with cards and Apple Pay in the deposit-only category. Everything in the section above about the card underneath applies here identically.
Why Apple Pay Fails at a Legal Ontario Casino
Four causes account for nearly all of it, and only one is the casino’s doing.
The option is not there yet, because the account is new and the operator only shows Apple Pay after a first deposit by another method. The underlying card is blocked by your bank for gambling — a card issuer decision that the Wallet cannot route around, and one NorthStar Bets warns about directly. You are not on an Apple device in Safari. Or the card in the Wallet is not Canadian, which fails at the operator rather than at Apple.
None of these produce a useful error message, which is why the method looks unreliable when it is mostly a sequencing problem.
Apple Cash and Prepaid Cards in the Wallet
Apple Cash is not accepted. Caesars is the only Ontario operator to address it in writing, and its rule is explicit: Visa and Mastercard only, Apple Cash not permitted. Treat that as the province-wide position, because no registered site publishes anything to the contrary.
Prepaid cards loaded into the Wallet fall under the same rules as prepaid cards generally, and none of the 32 registered operators publishes support for them. The prepaid products that are accepted in Ontario — paysafecard, NeoSurf, Flexepin — are vouchers that live outside the Wallet entirely and cannot receive a withdrawal.
Is Apple Pay Safe at an Ontario Casino?
It is the most private way to fund an account here. Your real card number is never given to the operator; the Wallet sends a device-specific token and a one-time code, so a breach at the casino cannot expose the card. Every payment is authorised with Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode, which also stops someone with your unlocked phone from depositing.
The wallet is not what makes the site safe, though. All fourteen operators on this page are registered with iGaming Ontario and licensed by the AGCO, which is what gives a dispute somewhere to go and makes paying players a condition of staying registered.
One limitation is worth naming. Because Apple Pay hides the card number from the operator, it does not hide the transaction from your bank: the deposit appears on the same statement, under the same merchant, as it would have without the Wallet.
