Is Ruby Fortune Legal in Ontario?
Yes. Ruby Fortune is on the iGaming Ontario register of regulated sites, and the register links to one address: rubyfortune.ca/ontario.
The operator is Cadtree Limited, a company registered in Alderney, in the Channel Islands. The footer of the Ontario site reads: “CADTREE LIMITED (2031), is a Alderney registered company registered at La Corvee House, La Corvee Alderney, GY9 3TQ. CADTREE LIMITED is licensed under the Ontario Gaming Commission, license number: OPIG1237898 (issued 23 June 2022).”
Read that sentence twice before you rely on it. There is no “Ontario Gaming Commission”: the regulator is the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which is what Ruby Fortune’s own terms and conditions correctly say. And the help centre the site links to prints a different number in its footer — OPIG1236392, the registration of its sister casino, Jackpot City. The help centre is shared between Cadtree’s casinos, and its footer was evidently written for one of the others.
| Check | What we found |
|---|---|
| Ontario operator | Cadtree Limited, Alderney |
| AGCO registration | OPIG1237898 on the site footer, issued 23 June 2022 |
| Address on the register | rubyfortune.ca/ontario |
| Products | Casino only — no sportsbook |
| Age and location | 19+, geolocation enabled at registration and play |
| Responsible gambling | RG Check seal in the footer; BetGuard supported |
None of those slips changes the legal position. Ruby Fortune holds an Ontario registration from the first months of the regulated market, and an account opened at rubyfortune.ca/ontario sits under AGCO rules.

The Ruby Fortune Ontario footer, read from Toronto on 15 October 2026.
Two Ruby Fortunes: rubyfortune.ca/ontario and rubyfortune.com
Search for Ruby Fortune in Canada and the second result is usually rubyfortune.com/ca, which calls itself “a fully licensed and trusted online casino in Canada”. It is not the Ontario casino. Its footer names Baytree Interactive Ltd (69691), “a Guernsey registered company… licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, license number: 01059″.
That matters more for Ruby Fortune than for most brands, for one reason we checked directly: rubyfortune.com does not redirect Ontario visitors. We opened it from a Toronto connection in October 2026 and it loaded Baytree’s site as normal, with its own catalogue (“450 casino games”), its own help pages and its own licence. Most of what is written online about “Ruby Fortune” describes that site, not this one.
| rubyfortune.ca/ontario | rubyfortune.com/ca | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | Cadtree Limited (Alderney) | Baytree Interactive Ltd (Guernsey) |
| Regulator | AGCO / iGaming Ontario | Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| On the iGO register | Yes | No |
| Opened from Toronto | The Ontario casino | Loads normally, no redirect |
| Age | 19+ | As set by its own terms |
The practical rule: in Ontario, the only Ruby Fortune that puts your account and your money under AGCO protection is the one whose address ends in .ca/ontario. Type it rather than clicking through from search results.

One Operator, Four Ontario Casinos
Ruby Fortune is one of four casinos Cadtree runs in Ontario. Its terms and conditions define the “Casino Websites” as spincasino.ca, rubyfortune.ca, jackpotcity.ca and royalvegas.ca — Spin Casino, Ruby Fortune, Jackpot City and Royal Vegas — under one set of rules.
Three consequences follow, and all three are useful to know before you sign up:
- One set of terms. Withdrawal rules, inactivity fees and complaint procedures are the same at all four, so moving between them does not change the fine print.
- One support desk. The help centre, the live chat and the toll-free line are shared; the contact page offers an email link for each of the four brands.
- One exclusion. Ruby Fortune’s responsible gaming page says that during a temporary or permanent exclusion “you will not be able to access any accounts you hold with our casinos” — a break taken here applies to the sister sites too.
The brand itself is older than the Ontario market: Ruby Fortune says it launched in 2003, and that history shows in the product, as the games section below explains.
Ruby Fortune Ontario Casino Games
Ruby Fortune does not publish a game count for Ontario. The site describes “hundreds of casino games”; the international site, which is a different catalogue, says 450; and affiliate reviews of the Ontario casino quote anything from “850+” to “1,700+”. The Ontario lobby itself only opens after you sign in with geolocation switched on, so every figure in circulation is somebody’s estimate. What the operator does publish is what kind of casino this is.
Inside the lobby
The operator’s own App Store screenshots show how the Ontario lobby is laid out. Games sit under For You, Slots, Tables, Live Casino, Arcade, Bingo and Jackpots, plus an All Games view, and every tab can be filtered by studio — Games Global, Pragmatic Play, Spribe and Hacksaw among the filters shown. Bingo and an Arcade tab are unusual for a Games Global casino in this province.

The Ruby Fortune Ontario lobby in the operator’s App Store screenshots: section tabs across the top, studio filters underneath (checked 15 October 2026).
The lobby is the same in the app and in the mobile browser, with your balance and the cashier in the top bar.
A Games Global house
Ruby Fortune’s FAQ says its “main software developer is responsible for powering the majority of games” and was “founded in 1994” — a description that fits only one company, the studio once called Microgaming and now part of Games Global. The Apricot mark, Games Global’s platform brand, sits in the site footer. In practice that means the slots are built around the Games Global catalogue and its partner studios, the same core as Jackpot City, rather than the 80-studio mix of the largest Ontario lobbies. The studio filters show the exceptions: Pragmatic Play, Spribe — the studio behind Aviator — and Hacksaw Gaming sit alongside it.
Slots
The slots page promises “3-reel classic variants” through to video slots, with paylines and ways-to-win from 243 upwards. The FAQ adds two practical details: the maximum bet differs by game, “ranging from a modest 25 credits up to 300 credits and more”, and the RTP of each game is shown when you launch it — Ruby Fortune does not publish a table of payout percentages. A rotating “Game of the Month” shelf picks one title each month.
Several titles carry an Exclusive badge in the lobby — Cash Flip Medusa Gold, Robin Banks Bonanza, Area Build’R Leprechauns Super Spin and Magnificent Link Flamecrest Phoenix among them — which marks games released to the operator’s casinos ahead of, or instead of, the wider market.

The Slots tab with Exclusive titles, and a hold-and-win slot in play, from the operator’s App Store screenshots (checked 15 October 2026).
One caveat the FAQ is honest about: “Not all games are accessible on mobile”, because the casino predates its mobile version. New releases are built for phones; some older titles are desktop only. We counted the whole provincial slot catalogue, studio by studio, in our guide to online slots in Ontario.
Maple Moolah
The headline jackpot is Maple Moolah, the Ontario-only progressive network that replaces Mega Moolah in this province. Ruby Fortune displays the live pot on its home page: it stood at $1,515,231.88 when we captured it from Toronto on 15 October 2026. The pool is shared across the casinos that carry the network, which is why it grows faster than a single-site jackpot. Progressive slots are not available in demo mode.

The Maple Moolah pot on the Ruby Fortune Ontario home page, 15 October 2026.
The home page promotes the network through Gold Factory Jackpots, one of the Maple Moolah slots; the figure keeps moving while you watch, and it had already passed $1,515,233 when we read the page text a moment later.
Roulette, Blackjack and Table Games
Roulette comes in European, French and American versions, and the table section includes blackjack, baccarat, craps, sic bo, Casino War and Red Dog — the operator’s own terms list all six. The arithmetic does not change with the brand: a single-zero wheel costs 2.70%, a double-zero wheel 5.26%, so choose European or French where you have the choice. The detail is in our guides to online roulette in Ontario and online blackjack in Ontario.
Live dealer
Ruby Fortune promotes two live products by name: Real Roulette with Sarati, presented by an exclusive hostess, and the On Air series of roulette and blackjack tables. Both are Games Global partner studios. Inside the account, Live Casino has its own tab in the lobby; the public site, though, has no live casino page and publishes no table count, which tells you that live dealer is a supporting act here rather than the main stage — for a deep live floor, ToonieBet carries 545 tables.

The Ruby Fortune App
There is an Ontario iPhone app, published by the operator itself, and it is well rated for its size:
| iPhone (App Store, Canada) | Android | |
|---|---|---|
| App | Ruby Fortune Casino Real Money | No store app — play in the browser |
| Publisher | Cadtree Limited | — |
| Rating | 4.44 from 418 ratings | — |

| On the store since | 30 September 2022 | — |

Ruby Fortune Casino Real Money on the Canadian App Store, published by Cadtree Limited: 4.4 from 418 ratings on 15 October 2026.
Android players use the mobile site, which carries banking and support as well as the games. The home page describes it that way — “Ruby is available via your preferred browser” — and we found no Ruby Fortune app for Ontario on Google Play Canada. The iPhone app’s own store description still mentions INSTADEBIT, a method that is not on the Ontario payments page; treat the cashier inside the app as the authority.
For how this compares with the rest of the province, see our Ontario casino apps compared.
How to Sign Up and Log In at Ruby Fortune Ontario
- Go to rubyfortune.ca/ontario or install the Cadtree app. Not rubyfortune.com. The Ontario login page says “Ontario” above the username field.
- Register with details that match your ID. You must be 19 or older and accept the terms.
- Switch on location services. Geolocation is required at registration and whenever you play; you must be physically in Ontario.
- Verify straight away. Ruby Fortune asks for verification during registration: a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address no older than six months.
- Turn on 2-Step Verification. A one-time code by text or email at every login. When you choose text, the code is sent by email as well.
Logging in
The same username and password work in the browser and in the iPhone app. “Keep me logged in” is available on the login screen; if a session is refused, the location check is the usual cause rather than your credentials.
Ruby Fortune Payments in Ontario

The six methods on the Ruby Fortune Ontario payments page, read from Toronto on 15 October 2026.
Deposit and withdrawal methods
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interac e-Transfer | Yes | Yes | Accept the payment from your bank’s email; within two business days |
| Visa | Yes | Yes | Withdrawals “may take a few business days” |
| Mastercard | Yes | No | The help centre: “We don’t offer MasterCard as a withdrawal option” |
| American Express | Yes | No | Rare in Ontario |
| Apple Pay | Yes | No | Deposits from iPhone |
| eCheck | No | Yes | Withdrawal only; “may take longer” |
Prepaid cards are accepted for deposits. There is no PayPal, which the payments page confirms. Ruby Fortune does not charge fees on standard transactions, although your bank may.
Minimums and timing
| Item | What Ruby Fortune publishes |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | $10 |
| Minimum withdrawal | $50, for every method |
| Pending period | At least 24 hours, during which the request can be reversed |
| Weekends | Withdrawals are not processed or paid at weekends |
| Web wallets | 24–48 hours after payment |
| Bank transfers and cards | 3–7 business days |
| Large wins | May be paid in instalments |
What slows a payout down
Three things to plan around. The $50 minimum is five times the minimum deposit and among the highest in the province, so small balances cannot be cashed out. The pending period is a rolling 24 hours from the request, and during it the money is still playable and the withdrawal reversible — if you would rather not have that option, the terms say you can ask support to lock your account until it is processed. And weekends do not count: a Friday-night request does not move until Monday.
The operator’s own pages do not quite agree on timing. The banking page says withdrawals take “24-48 hours” to process; the help centre says at least 24 hours pending and then 3–7 business days for cards and bank transfers. Plan on the help centre’s figures. Compare payout speed across the province in our guide to the fastest-paying Ontario casinos, and Interac specifically in Interac casinos in Ontario.
Ruby Fortune Customer Support
Chat, email and phone
| Channel | Details |
|---|---|
| Live chat | The chat icon on every page and in the help centre |
| A link per brand on the help centre contact page | |
| Telephone | 1 888 378 1328, toll-free, shared by the four Cadtree casinos |
| Complaints | complaints@playersupportcenter.ca — the only address that counts as a formal complaint |
The phone line is worth knowing about because Ruby Fortune barely mentions it: the site’s FAQ says “we currently offer live chat and email”, and the number only appears on the help centre’s contact page.
How to complain
Complaints must be raised within six months of the issue, by email to the complaints address, with your username, full name and a description. Three rules in the terms are stricter than most: you have four weeks to reply to any message about your complaint or it is treated as resolved; no complaint may be logged within a week of a withdrawal; and only a completed internal complaint gives you the reference number the independent adjudicator, eCOGRA, requires.
After that the terms list iGaming Ontario (igaming@igamingontario.ca, 1-833-554-4263) as the regulator to escalate to — alongside the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, which has no role over an Ontario account. For an Ontario player, the escalation route is iGaming Ontario and the AGCO.
Is Ruby Fortune Safe?
The regulated basics
On the fundamentals, yes. Ruby Fortune holds an AGCO registration and an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario, verifies identity at registration in line with FINTRAC rules, offers two-step verification, uses an independent adjudicator (eCOGRA) for disputes, and shows the RG Check seal — the Responsible Gambling Council’s accreditation — in its footer. The games run on a Games Global platform with independently tested random number generation.
Where the paperwork falls short
The weaknesses are in the documents around the product, and most come from sharing them across four casinos and two jurisdictions:
- The site footer credits the licence to an “Ontario Gaming Commission” that does not exist.
- The help centre footer prints Jackpot City’s registration number, OPIG1236392, rather than Ruby Fortune’s.
- The terms say Cadtree is “Guernsey registered”; the footer says Alderney. Both are in the Bailiwick of Guernsey, but the documents should agree.
- The complaints clause names the Alderney regulator next to iGaming Ontario.
- Responsible gaming limits are calculated “using the GMT +2 time zone” — six hours ahead of Toronto.
- The responsible gaming page and the help centre give different lengths for a permanent exclusion (see below).
None of these puts your money at risk. They do mean that when two Ruby Fortune pages disagree, you should rely on the terms and conditions, which are the only document written specifically for the AGCO.
Responsible Gambling at Ruby Fortune
Limits, breaks and self-exclusion
| Tool | How it works at Ruby Fortune |
|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Per day, week or month |
| Loss limit | Per day, week or month; cash only; resets at midnight |
| Session limit | A reminder when your chosen time is up |
| Raising a limit | 24-hour wait; lowering is immediate |
| Temporary exclusion | 24 hours to 3 months; reactivates automatically |
| Permanent exclusion | 6 to 12 months (responsible gaming page) or 6 months to 5 years (help centre) |
| Scope | All accounts “with our casinos” — Ruby Fortune, Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Royal Vegas |
| BetGuard | Supported; separate from Ruby Fortune’s own exclusion |
Two things to watch
First, the clock. Limits are calculated on GMT+2, so a daily limit set in Toronto resets six hours earlier in the evening than you might expect; set weekly or monthly limits if you want the timing to be unambiguous. Second, the reversible pending period described in the payments section: if you know a withdrawal you can cancel is a temptation, ask support to lock the account while it is processed.
Inactive accounts
An account becomes inactive after six months without a login. Ruby Fortune then notifies you and gives you 30 days to withdraw; after that, a C$10 monthly administration fee can be deducted from the balance until it reaches zero. Withdraw what you are not using before you step away. More on the provincial tools in our guide to responsible gambling and BetGuard.
You must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario to play. ConnexOntario is free, confidential and open 24/7 on 1-866-531-2600.
Ruby Fortune vs Other Ontario Casinos
Who Ruby Fortune suits
Ruby Fortune suits players who want a classic Games Global casino — the familiar slots, Maple Moolah, European and French roulette — with a toll-free phone line, Apple Pay and American Express deposits, and an iPhone app from the operator. It suits players less well if they want to cash out small amounts, play on an Android app, choose from a very large or multi-studio lobby, or have their winnings paid at the weekend.
How it compares
| Ruby Fortune | Jackpot City | Yukon Gold | Casino Days | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Our score | 3.5 | 4.3 | 3.2 | 3.5 |
| Operator | Cadtree Limited | Cadtree Limited | Apollo Entertainment | Golden Nebula |
| Games | Not published | 400+ slots | 1,630 | 2,574 |
| Minimum deposit | $10 | $10 | $10 | $10 |
| Telephone support | Yes, toll-free | Yes, toll-free | No number published | No |
| Maple Moolah | Yes | Yes | No | Yes, 6 games |
Against its own sister, Jackpot City is the stronger Cadtree casino: same operator, same core games, but a clearer Ontario identity and licensed Toronto team content. Against Yukon Gold Ruby Fortune shares the $50 minimum withdrawal but adds a phone line and the Maple Moolah network. And Casino Days counts its whole 2,574-game lobby and processes withdrawals in minutes rather than days. For the full shortlist, see our ranking of the best online casinos in Ontario.

Five Things to Check Before Your First Deposit
- The address. rubyfortune.ca/ontario, with Cadtree Limited and OPIG1237898 in the footer. If the footer names Baytree Interactive or the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, you are on the international site.
- Your withdrawal method. If you deposit by Mastercard, American Express or Apple Pay, you will need Interac, Visa or eCheck to cash out. Set it up before you need it.
- The $50 minimum. Balances under $50 cannot be withdrawn, so size your deposits accordingly.
- Your limits, in GMT+2. Set them from the Responsible Gaming menu before you fund the account, and prefer weekly or monthly periods.
- Your documents. ID and a proof of address under six months old, uploaded at registration, so the 24-hour pending period is the only wait on your first payout.
Five minutes on these removes the problems most likely to cost you time or money at this particular casino: the wrong site, a deposit method you cannot withdraw to, and a balance too small to cash out.
How We Reviewed Ruby Fortune Ontario
Everything on this page was read from the operator, the regulator or the App Store in October 2026. We checked the iGaming Ontario register for Ruby Fortune’s listed address, read rubyfortune.ca/ontario from a Toronto connection — home page, games, banking and payment pages, FAQ, responsible gaming page and the full terms and conditions (version 1.8, updated 16 April 2026) — and searched the shared help centre’s knowledge base for withdrawal, deposit, contact and exclusion rules. We also opened rubyfortune.com from Toronto and from elsewhere in Canada to confirm who runs it and whether it redirects. The lobby images come from the screenshots Cadtree Limited publishes for its Ontario iPhone app on the Canadian App Store.
Where Ruby Fortune’s own pages contradict each other, we have shown both and said which one to rely on. The Ontario lobby opens only to a signed-in, geolocated account, so we have not quoted a game count the operator does not publish.

- Is rubyfortune.com the same as Ruby Fortune Ontario?

- How long do Ruby Fortune withdrawals take?
Every withdrawal is pending for at least 24 hours and is not processed at weekends. After that, web wallets take 24 to 48 hours and cards and bank transfers 3 to 7 business days. The minimum withdrawal is $50.
- Does Ruby Fortune have a phone number?
Yes. The shared Cadtree help centre lists 1 888 378 1328, toll-free, alongside live chat and email.

Ruby Fortune Ontario earns 3.5 out of 5. It is a dependable, old-school Games Global casino: the familiar slots, the Maple Moolah network, European and French roulette, an iPhone app from the operator rated 4.44, Apple Pay and American Express deposits, and a toll-free phone line shared with three sister sites.
What holds it back is the cashier and the paperwork. The minimum withdrawal is $50, every request sits pending and reversible for at least 24 hours, nothing is paid at weekends, and cards take 3–7 business days after that. There is no Android app. And the documents disagree with each other — a non-existent “Ontario Gaming Commission”, a sister casino’s licence number in the help centre, limits on GMT+2, two different lengths for a permanent exclusion — while rubyfortune.com, a different casino, opens freely from Toronto.
Choose Ruby Fortune if you like the Games Global catalogue and want a phone number to call. Type rubyfortune.ca/ontario, set up an Interac or Visa withdrawal route on day one, and keep your balance above $50 when you plan to cash out.
