Yukon Gold Ontario Review: 1,667 Games and $50 Cash-Outs

Is Yukon Gold Legal in Ontario?

Yes. Yukon Gold Casino holds an Ontario registration and appears on the iGaming Ontario operator register under Apollo Entertainment Ltd, with a licence that covers casino only — no sportsbook, no poker. The address the regulator lists for the brand is ontario.yukongold.casino, and that subdomain matters: the plain yukongoldcasino.com address you may have bookmarked years ago is not the provincial site.

The footer of the Ontario site names the operator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and the agreement with iGaming Ontario, and it carries ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600. The Ontario iOS build prints the licence number on every screenshot it shows in the App Store: OPIG1242668. The legal age here is 19, not 18.

One correction worth making, because our own listing carried it for years and so do several affiliate pages: the licence behind the Ontario product is not the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Kahnawake regulates the international Yukon Gold; the site you can legally use from Ontario answers to the AGCO.

Yukon Gold is a registered Ontario casino run by Apollo Entertainment, with a $10 minimum deposit, a $50 minimum withdrawal and six sister sites on one account.

Who Actually Runs Yukon Gold in Ontario

Apollo Entertainment Ltd is the registered operator, and the brand you see is the front end of the Casino Rewards group, a loyalty scheme that has been running since the early 2000s and that the site advertises as having more than twenty years behind it.

Apollo is not a single-brand company in this province. The iGaming Ontario register lists seven casinos under the same operator: Captain Cooks, Casino Classic, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac. Every one of them is casino-only, and every one of them sits on the same ontario.[brand].casino address pattern.

That is not a footnote. It changes what choosing Yukon Gold over its neighbours actually means, and it is the first thing worth understanding about this operator.

Seven Ontario Casinos, One Jackpot Counter

The seven Apollo brands are not seven competing products. They are one product with seven skins, and you can measure it rather than take our word for it.

Each site runs a progressive jackpot ticker that reports the current pool. Query the ticker on Yukon Gold, Zodiac, Grand Mondial and Luxury within the same minute and all four returned the identical figure to the cent — CA$84.1 million across all progressives on one reading, CA$92.4 million on a later one. As the games section explains, the Mega Moolah games on that ticker are not in the Ontario lobby. The support address printed on the contact page is the same on each: support@crhelpdesk.com, where the cr stands for Casino Rewards. The store listings tell the same story: the Ontario descriptions for Yukon Gold and for its sibling Golden Tiger run near enough word for word, down to the identical list of game features, with only the opening line swapped out.

So the practical question is not “is Yukon Gold better than Zodiac”. It is which door you want to walk through, because behind all seven is the same floor, the same help desk and the same Casino Rewards points balance.

There is a real consequence for anyone managing their play. The Ontario terms tie every Apollo account to one Global Account. Your accounts at all seven brands are sub-accounts of it, and responsible gaming settings, deposit limits and loss limits are monitored and managed through it. To block other operators as well, use BetGuard, the province-wide self-exclusion.

A Global Jackpot Figure, Not an Ontario Pot

And one number deserves a caveat the operator does not give it. Ask that same ticker for its US English version and it returns the same amount with a dollar sign instead of CA$ — CA$92,368,178 against $92,367,564, read in the same session for this review, the difference being nothing but the order in which the two were asked. The pool is a shared international figure being relabelled by locale, not a converted Ontario pot. Read the millions on the page as what they are: the size of a global network, not a provincial prize fund — and not a prize the Ontario lobby offered when we read it.

Yukon Gold Ontario Casino Games

The operator says “over 1,000” games. The Ontario lobby holds 1,667 games: 1,274 slots, 215 live dealer tables, 80 table games, 21 video poker titles and 77 in a Variety category. Two supply routes account for all of it — the Games Global platform with about 1,170 titles, and Pragmatic Play with about 490, including the whole live floor.

The lobby is organised into Featured, New Games, Slots, Live Dealer, Table Games, Video Pokers, Variety, Hot Games and Exclusive Games — a Progressive Jackpots tab with two Maple Moolah titles appears only now and then — plus a shelf you will not find at any other operator in the province: Popular High-Win-Rate Games, which is where the “Highest Win Rate Guarantee” claim gets turned into a browsing category.

Slots

Slots are the bulk of the floor and the Games Global catalogue is its spine — the studio that used to be called Microgaming. Thunderstruck Wild Lightning, 9 Masks of Fire, Book of Oz, Agent Jane Blonde Returns, Immortal Romance, Immortal Romance II, Jungle Jim, Break da Bank, Hyper Strike and 12 Masks of Fire Drums are all in the Ontario lobby, and they are all from the same house. The newer shelves widen it. Nineteen titles carry early-release tags at the time of this review, among them Penguin Heist, Dragon Unchained, Totally Reckless and Max Spinwell: Time Chronicles, and 23 are marked exclusive to the group. Pragmatic Play has a wing of its own here — 177 titles on its own shelf, and a Drops & Wins shelf of 46.

Where to start: open Popular High-Win-Rate Games before anything else. It is one of the few shelves in Ontario built explicitly around return-to-player, and if the guarantee means anything it means something there.

Progressive Jackpots: Advertised, Not in the Lobby We Read

The Ontario home page, read from Toronto at the time of this review: three progressive tiles in US-style dollar signs, under a note that they are not available in all regions.

There is no Mega Moolah in the Ontario lobby; a Progressive Jackpots shelf with two Maple Moolah titles (Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II) appears only now and then. Read from inside the province, the full game list the lobby loaded for the Ontario market had no Mega Moolah, Atlantean Treasures, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah or Mega Vault Millionaire. Neither are Major Millions, Treasure Nile, Cash Splash or Gold Factory Jackpots.

The home page still advertises them. Its Progressive Games panel shows Mega Vault Millionaire, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah and Cash Splash with running totals, and the jackpot ticker reports CA$92.4 million across all progressives — but the same panel carries the operator’s own small print: “Not available in all regions – progressive slot games are subject to availability.” In the Ontario lobby we read, they were not available. Read that ticker as the size of an international network, not a pool this lobby offered.

What the Ontario lobby does have, beyond that occasional Maple Moolah shelf, is the group’s own Casino Rewards Millionaires Club and fixed-prize titles. Where to start: not here, if a progressive is the point. Here, the Popular High-Win-Rate Games shelf is the better use of the lobby.

Mega Money Wheel: A Group Title, Not a Studio Release

Mega Money Wheel is a Casino Rewards title rather than a public studio release, which means you will not find it at any casino outside the group and there is no independent return-to-player figure published for it anywhere. It is also the game the operator steers new accounts towards first, so for many players it is the floor they meet before the slots floor.

The wheel carries the Casino Rewards branding rather than the Yukon Gold one, which is consistent with everything else about this operator: the layer you are actually playing on belongs to the group, not the brand.

Where to start: whatever the operator points you at, read its terms on their site before you commit — anything credited to a single title behaves very differently from a balance you can spend where you like.

Roulette

Thirty-eight of the 80 table games are roulette, split between two kinds of game. The house versions include Multifire Roulette, Classic Roulette and Three Wheel Roulette; the branded ones are 9 Masks of Fire Roulette and 9 Pots of Gold Roulette, which are slot IPs wrapped around a wheel with multiplier segments bolted on. Yukon Gold does not publish return figures for individual wheels, so single-zero versus double-zero is something you check on the table itself before you sit down.

Where to start: Multifire Roulette if you want the plain wheel with multipliers, and check the zero count on the layout before your first spin.

Blackjack and Table Games

Blackjack is the deepest of the table categories, and it is all the classic Games Global family: Classic Blackjack, Premier Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack and Atlantic City Blackjack Gold. Thirty-three of the 80 table games are blackjack, including side-bet versions such as Classic Blackjack Poker Side Bets. These are long-standing titles with well-documented rule sets, which is the argument for them. What the lobby does not do is print the rules on the tile, so house-stands-on-soft-17 and the double-after-split rule are things you confirm inside the game. Where to start: Atlantic City Blackjack Gold is the version of this family with the friendliest published rules; open the help panel and read them before your first hand.

Live Dealer

The live floor is not thin. Read from inside Ontario, the Live Dealer category holds 215 Pragmatic Play Live tables — around a hundred blackjack tables, Speed Blackjack, the Privé Lounge rooms, roulette, baccarat, Sic Bo and Dice City. Before you log in the lobby shows them as a single Pragmatic Play Live Casino tile, which is why they are easy to miss. What it does not have is Evolution.

The tables named after their dealer — Real Roulette with Bailey, Real Roulette with Rishi, Real Baccarat with Sarati and eleven more from Real Dealer Studios — sit under Table Games, not Live, and correctly so: they are filmed with real dealers but resolved by a random number generator.

Where to start: a Pragmatic Speed Blackjack table if you want a live game, and a Real Dealer table if you want the look without waiting for other players.

Video Poker and Variety

Two categories that most Ontario lobbies have quietly dropped survive here as their own tabs. Video Pokers is a full shelf of 21 rather than three afterthoughts, most of them multi-hand Power Poker versions — All Aces, Deuces Wild, Double Double Bonus, Jacks or Better — and Variety collects 77 titles including 9 Masks of Fire Land & Win and the group’s own Mega Money Wheel.

Video poker is the one category where published return figures normally beat every slot on the floor, so a lobby that still carries a proper shelf of it is doing something for the arithmetically minded. Yukon Gold does not publish the pay tables in the lobby, which is the usual caveat.

Where to start: Jacks or Better, and open the pay table inside the game before you commit — in video poker the pay table is the return.

Software Providers

Yukon Gold names its suppliers only by logo: the footer carries Pragmatic Play and Games Global, and the lobby’s own data confirms those two supply routes. The lobby’s own data names two supply routes. The Games Global platform delivers about 1,170 of the 1,667 titles, including the classic blackjack family and the studios that publish through it. Pragmatic Play delivers about 490: some 280 other titles and the entire live floor. Real Dealer Studios supplies the filmed tables, and Casino Rewards itself supplies the in-house titles such as Mega Money Wheel.

That is a narrower bench than the province’s big lobbies, which run twenty studios or more. The trade is depth in one catalogue against breadth across many: if you like the Microgaming lineage, this is one of the fullest expressions of it in Ontario. If you came for Hacksaw, NetEnt or Evolution, you will notice their absence.

Where to start: treat this as a Games Global casino and judge it on that catalogue, because that is overwhelmingly what you will be playing.

The Yukon Gold App

There is a proper Ontario app, and it is the newest part of this operator by a distance. Yukon Gold Casino Ontario is published by Apollo Entertainment Ltd, arrived on the App Store in March 2026, requires iOS 16 or later and weighs about 41 MB. It scores 4.53 out of 5 from 1,558 ratings, which is among the better reception in the province. There is an Android app too, on Google Play since August 2025 under the same publisher: Yukon Gold Casino Ontario, past 50,000 downloads and rated 4.47 from 769 ratings. Both stores therefore carry an official Ontario build, which was not the case for this brand before March 2026. On Google Play the Yukon Gold listing declares that it shares no data with third parties; it may collect personal info, financial info and four other data types, encrypts data in transit and lets you ask for deletion.

Finding it is the hard part: on Google Play, more than thirty apps from other developers use the Yukon Gold name, and our Yukon Gold app guide shows how to reach the Apollo listing on each phone.

The App Interface and the Desktop Browser Lobby

The app is also where the Ontario product looks most modern. It carries the licence number OPIG1242668 on screen, the lobby is organised into proper shelves, and the Casino Rewards status ladder — Green through Bronze and upward, with VIP points shown against the next tier — is built into the interface rather than hidden in a tab.

On a computer, Yukon Gold now plays in the browser: the site’s download button leads to a web lobby for the Ontario market rather than to an installer. The published system requirements have not been revised in years and still ask for Internet Explorer 10, Adobe Flash Player 10 and Windows 7 or 8.1 — a browser Microsoft retired and a plug-in that stopped existing in 2020. Nothing about the browser lobby or the app suggests those requirements are real; they are simply a FAQ answer nobody has touched.

How to Sign Up and Log In at Yukon Gold Ontario

Registration is straightforward, but two steps are specific to an operator running seven brands in one province.

1. Open ontario.yukongold.casino and confirm the footer names Apollo Entertainment Ltd, the AGCO and the agreement with iGaming Ontario. If the page you have landed on mentions the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, you are on the international site and not the one you can legally use here.
2. Register with your legal name, date of birth and address exactly as they appear on your identification. Verification is run against those documents before a withdrawal is paid, and a name that does not match is the most common reason a first cash-out stalls.
3. Confirm you are 19 or older and allow the location check. Ontario is verified at login, not only at signup.
4. Check whether you already hold an account at a sister brand. Captain Cooks, Casino Classic, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury and Zodiac run on the same operator and the same help desk. Under the Ontario terms, an account at any of them becomes a sub-account of one Global Account, through which responsible gaming settings and deposit and loss limits are managed. Yukon Gold Payments in Ontario

This is the weakest part of the product, and the numbers are the argument rather than an opinion.

Getting money in is easy: the minimum deposit is $10, and Interac deposits are processed through PayDirect Billing Solutions Inc., which is the name that will appear against the transaction rather than the casino’s.

Getting money out is where Yukon Gold sits behind the province. The operator sets a minimum withdrawal of $50 by most methods and $300 by direct bank transfer or wire. Funds then sit in a 48-hour pending period before processing begins on the following business day. After that, the FAQ’s delivery times are three business days for Visa (OCT), one to three for e-wallets, two to three for CAD EFT and eCheque, and six to ten for direct bank transfer. The FAQ’s delivery times list “Visa, Mastercard – 3 working days”, but its withdrawal methods for Canada name only OCT (Visa), CAD EFT/eCheck and Skrill. Add the pending window and a card withdrawal is realistically most of a week.

A first payout to a method you have not been paid by before can add five to seven working days of extra verification.

Dormant Accounts and Reversible Withdrawals

One term deserves more attention than it gets. Under the Ontario terms, an account with no wager, deposit or withdrawal for 60 days is treated as dormant, and the operator then removes the balance: cash is returned only on request, after you pass verification. Sixty days is short by provincial standards. If you leave money in the account, log in and play or withdraw it before two months pass.

During that pending window the withdrawal is reversible, and the operator presents this as a feature: you can pull the money back and carry on playing without depositing again. It is worth naming for what it is. A 48-hour window in which winnings can be returned to the bankroll with one click is the single mechanic most likely to turn a completed win into a continued session, and it is the opposite of what a fast payout does. If you intend to keep a withdrawal, request it and close the client.

For comparison, PlayOJO Casino in Ontario sets no withdrawal minimum at all, and Betty, Caesars and DraftKings start at $1. Yukon Gold’s is fifty times that, and three hundred times by wire.

Yukon Gold Customer Support

Support runs on two channels: live chat, and email to support@crhelpdesk.com, which is the Casino Rewards help desk shared with the six sibling brands. The contact page states that emails are answered within 48 hours, and it routes you through a query type — deposits, withdrawals, verification, login — before it gives you the address.

There is a contradiction in the operator’s own pages that is worth flagging, because it will otherwise cost you a phone call you cannot make. The FAQ describes a “24 hours, 7 days per week call center to handle all email and telephone queries”. The contact page lists no telephone number, and there is no support number anywhere else on the Ontario site. If support does not resolve a complaint, the terms send it to complaints@crhelpdesk.com, where a specialist takes it over, before the provincial route. Treat this as a chat-and-email operation; the only phone numbers on Yukon Gold’s pages are ConnexOntario’s help line and iGaming Ontario’s BetGuard line, and neither is customer service.

Is Yukon Gold Safe? Licence, Ownership and History

On the things that matter legally, yes. The operator is registered with the AGCO, appears on the iGaming Ontario register, and the Ontario site carries the licence number, the 19+ marker and the ConnexOntario referral. Player funds and dispute resolution fall under the provincial framework rather than an offshore one.

On 10 August 2023 the AGCO served Apollo Entertainment Ltd a $100,000 Notice of Monetary Penalty over responsible gambling failures: no interventions for a player who lost more than $2 million in under four months, an inadequate self-exclusion program and weak limit-setting tools. It was issued to the entity, so it covers all seven Casino Rewards brands, Yukon Gold included.

On independent testing, the operator states that its random number generator is reviewed by independent auditors, and its Fair Play page and footer link to its eCOGRA certificate. It also provides PlayCheck and Transaction History inside the client so you can audit your own play and banking history. Those are real tools and older than most of the province’s.

Two caveats belong here. The About Us page still describes 128-bit encryption as its protection standard, wording that has not been refreshed in a long time. And the brand’s history is genuinely long — the group markets a quarter-century of operation — but that history is Casino Rewards’ history under Kahnawake, not Ontario history. The AGCO-regulated product is the recent part.

Responsible Gambling in Ontario

Yukon Gold carries the standard provincial furniture: a responsible gambling page, the 19+ marker, and ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600 for free and confidential help, available at any hour.

Two points are specific to this operator. First, the terms link your accounts at all seven Apollo brands to one Global Account, and responsible gaming settings and deposit and loss limits are managed through it. To shut out every other Ontario operator too, use BetGuard, the province-wide self-exclusion. Second, the reversible withdrawal window described above is worth switching off in your own head before you need it: decide when you request the money that the request is final.

Yukon Gold vs Other Ontario Casinos

Yukon Gold is a specialist rather than an all-rounder, and it is easy to say who it suits.

Against Jackpot City, a far smaller Games Global lobby of 400-plus games, the catalogues overlap heavily and Jackpot City adds the full provincial jackpot pools, where Yukon Gold’s lobby shows two Maple Moolah titles only now and then. Against Betway, you trade Evolution for a 215-table Pragmatic live floor. Against 888 Casino Ontario, the gap in banking is the whole story: $5 minimum withdrawals and payouts in two to four days by Interac against $50 and most of a week here.

What Yukon Gold has that they do not is a genuine video poker shelf and an explicit high-return category. What it does not have is a standing progressive jackpot shelf, a telephone line, or a withdrawal floor a casual player would call reasonable — and its 60-day dormancy rule is among the shortest in the province.

How We Reviewed Yukon Gold Ontario

We started with the iGaming Ontario operator register, which is the only source that settles who legally runs a brand in this province. That is where Apollo Entertainment Ltd and the seven-casino structure came from, and it is also what corrected the licence on our own listing from Kahnawake to the AGCO.

The game and jackpot figures come from the operator’s own Ontario systems rather than from third parties: the progressive ticker each site queries for its live pool totals, read on Yukon Gold and on three sibling brands within the same minute to establish that the pools are shared, and read again in a second locale to establish that the currency label changes while the number does not. For this review we read the Ontario lobby itself from a Toronto connection: the complete game list the lobby loads for the Ontario market, category by category, is where the 1,667 games, the supplier split, the live floor and the occasional Progressive Jackpots shelf come from. The licence number was read from the Ontario build of the operator’s own app.

Banking figures, withdrawal floors, pending periods and delivery times are quoted from the operator’s published pages. Where a number is the operator’s own claim rather than something we could verify — the “over 1,000” game count, the Highest Win Rate Guarantee — we have said so rather than repeat it as fact. Where a figure is not published at all, such as per-game return, we have left it out instead of borrowing an estimate.
