Yes. Yukon Gold Casino holds an Ontario registration and appears on the iGaming Ontario operator register under Apollo Entertainment Ltd, with a licence that covers casino only — no sportsbook, no poker. The address the regulator lists for the brand is ontario.yukongold.casino, and that subdomain matters: the plain yukongoldcasino.com address you may have bookmarked years ago is not the provincial site.

The footer of the Ontario site names the operator, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and the agreement with iGaming Ontario, and it carries ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600. The Ontario iOS build publishes the operating licence number on every screen it shows in the App Store: DPIG1242668. The legal age here is 19, not 18.

One correction worth making, because our own listing carried it for years and so do several affiliate pages: the licence behind the Ontario product is not the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. Kahnawake regulates the international Yukon Gold; the site you can legally use from Ontario answers to the AGCO.

Who Actually Runs Yukon Gold in Ontario

Apollo Entertainment Ltd is the registered operator, and the brand you see is the front end of the Casino Rewards group, a loyalty scheme that has been running since the early 2000s and that the site advertises as having more than twenty years behind it.

Apollo is not a single-brand company in this province. The iGaming Ontario register lists seven casinos under the same operator: Captain Cooks, Casino Classic, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac. Every one of them is casino-only, and every one of them sits on the same ontario.[brand].casino address pattern.

That is not a footnote. It changes what choosing Yukon Gold over its neighbours actually means, and it is the first thing worth understanding about this operator.

Seven Ontario Casinos, One Jackpot Counter

The seven Apollo brands are not seven competing products. They are one product with seven skins, and you can measure it rather than take our word for it.

Each site runs a progressive jackpot ticker that reports the current pool. Query the ticker on Yukon Gold, Zodiac, Grand Mondial and Luxury within the same minute and all four return the identical figure to the cent — CA$84,113,885.82 across all progressives. The support address printed on the contact page is the same on each: support@crhelpdesk.com, where the cr stands for Casino Rewards. The store listings tell the same story: the Ontario descriptions for Yukon Gold and for its sibling Golden Tiger run near enough word for word, down to the identical list of game features, with only the opening line swapped out.

So the practical question is not “is Yukon Gold better than Zodiac”. It is which door you want to walk through, because behind all seven is the same floor, the same jackpot pools, the same help desk and the same Casino Rewards points balance.

There is a real consequence for anyone managing their play. Deposit limits, time limits and self-exclusions are set per account and per brand. Shutting a door at Yukon Gold does not shut the other six, and they are all one search away from each other. If you are using limits as a control, you have to set them seven times or use the province-wide tools instead.

And one number deserves a caveat the operator does not give it. The figure the operator uses on its own games page and across the Ontario store creatives is “over 1,000”, and that is what it is: the operator’s number, not a lobby tally. What can be checked is the shape of the floor, and the shape is unusually clear because the catalogue leans on one studio far more than most Ontario lobbies do.

A Spicy Fiesta, 88 Golden Bao, Mummy Jewels 100, Rumble Extinction, Treasures of Osiris and Black Sails carry early-release tags, and the operator says new titles land monthly. Where to start: open Popular High-Win-Rate Games before anything else. It is the only shelf in Ontario built explicitly around return-to-player, and if the guarantee means anything it means something there.

Progressive Jackpots: The Moolah Network

This is where Yukon Gold is genuinely differentiated, and where you need to read carefully. The Progressives shelf runs Mega Moolah, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah and Mega Vault Millionaire, and the ticker reports all five at the identical value — CA$13,689,722.55 — because they feed one shared pool. Two things follow. First, chasing four different Mega Moolah titles is chasing the same jackpot four ways, which is worth knowing before you split a session across them. Second, as set out above, the same feed returns the same figures under a US dollar sign, so treat the millions as the scale of an international network rather than a converted provincial pot.

Where to start: Major Millions at half a million is the one whose maths a normal bankroll can actually reach; the Moolah pool at CA$13 million is a lottery ticket by any other name.

Mega Money Wheel: A Group Title, Not a Studio Release

Mega Money Wheel is a Casino Rewards title rather than a public studio release, which means you will not find it at any casino outside the group and there is no independent return-to-player figure published for it anywhere. Blackjack and Table Games

Blackjack is the deepest of the table categories, and it is all the classic Games Global family: Classic Blackjack, Premier Blackjack, Atlantic City Blackjack and Atlantic City Blackjack Gold. These are long-standing titles with well-documented rule sets, which is the argument for them. What the lobby does not do is print the rules on the tile, so house-stands-on-soft-17 and the double-after-split rule are things you confirm inside the game. Live Dealer

The live category is thinner here than at the large Ontario operators, and it is built differently. Rather than a wall of Evolution studios, Yukon Gold leans on Real Dealer Studios, whose titles are named after the dealer: Real Roulette with Rishi, Real Roulette with Bailey, Real Roulette with Holly, Real Roulette with Dave, Real Baccarat with Sarati and Real Baccarat with Courtney. Video Pokers is a full shelf rather than three afterthoughts, headed by All Aces Poker, and Variety collects the Land & Win reworks — 9 Masks of Fire Land & Win, 9 Pots of Gold Land & Win — alongside titles such as Golden Quest.

Video poker is the one category where published return figures normally beat every slot on the floor, so a lobby that still carries a proper shelf of it is doing something for the arithmetically minded. Yukon Gold does not publish the pay tables in the lobby, which is the usual caveat.

Where to start: All Aces Poker, and open the pay table inside the game before you commit — in video poker the pay table is the return.

Software Providers

Yukon Gold does not publish a provider list, so this is read off the catalogue rather than off a page. Games Global supplies the overwhelming majority of what is on the floor, including every progressive in the Moolah network and the whole classic blackjack family. Pragmatic Play is the clear second, identifiable by its own Drops & Wins shelf. Real Dealer Studios supplies the live-styled tables, and Casino Rewards itself supplies the in-house titles such as Mega Money Wheel.

That is a narrower bench than the province’s big lobbies, which run twenty studios or more. The trade is depth in one catalogue against breadth across many: if you like the Microgaming lineage, this is one of the fullest expressions of it in Ontario. The Yukon Gold App

There is a proper Ontario app, and it is the newest part of this operator by a distance. Yukon Gold Casino Ontario is published by Apollo Entertainment Ltd, arrived on the App Store in March 2026, requires iOS 16 or later and weighs about 39 MB. It scores 4.53 out of 5 from 999 ratings, which is among the better reception in the province. There is an Android app too, on Google Play since August 2025 under the same publisher: Yukon Gold Casino Ontario, currently on version 3.1.3, past 50,000 downloads and rated 4.5. Both stores therefore carry an official Ontario build, which was not the case for this brand a year ago.

The app is also where the Ontario product looks most modern. It carries the licence number DPIG1242668 on screen, the lobby is organised into proper shelves, and the Casino Rewards status ladder — Green through Bronze and upward, with VIP points shown against the next tier — is built into the interface rather than hidden in a tab.

The desktop side has not kept pace, and the gap is stark. Yukon Gold on a computer is still a download client: games arrive in an initial install and the rest fetch in the background while you play, with a grey tile until each one lands. The published system requirements have not been revised in years and still ask for Internet Explorer 10, Adobe Flash Player 10 and Windows 7 or 8.1 — a browser Microsoft retired and a plug-in that stopped existing in 2020. Nothing about the modern app suggests those requirements are real; they are simply a page nobody has touched.

How to Sign Up and Log In at Yukon Gold Ontario

Registration is straightforward, but two steps are specific to an operator running seven brands in one province.

1. Open ontario.yukongold.casino and confirm the footer names Apollo Entertainment Ltd, the AGCO and the agreement with iGaming Ontario. If the page you have landed on mentions the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, you are on the international site and not the one you can legally use here.
2. Register with your legal name, date of birth and address exactly as they appear on your identification. Verification is run against those documents before a withdrawal is paid, and a name that does not match is the most common reason a first cash-out stalls.
3. Confirm you are 19 or older and allow the location check. Ontario is verified at login, not only at signup.

Getting money in is easy: the minimum deposit is $10, and Interac deposits are processed through PayDirect Billing Solutions Inc., which is the name that will appear against the transaction rather than the casino’s.

Getting money out is where Yukon Gold sits behind the province. The operator sets a minimum withdrawal of $50 by most methods and $300 by direct bank transfer or wire. Funds then sit in a 48-hour pending period before processing begins on the following business day. After that, the published delivery times are three business days for Visa and Mastercard, one to three for e-wallets, two to three for CAD EFT and eCheque, and six to ten for direct bank transfer. Add the pending window and a card withdrawal is realistically most of a week.

During that pending window the withdrawal is reversible, and the operator presents this as a feature: you can pull the money back and carry on playing without depositing again. It is worth naming for what it is. A 48-hour window in which winnings can be returned to the bankroll with one click is the single mechanic most likely to turn a completed win into a continued session, and it is the opposite of what a fast payout does. Support runs on two channels: live chat, and email to support@crhelpdesk.com, which is the Casino Rewards help desk shared with the six sibling brands. The contact page states that emails are answered within 48 hours, and it routes you through a query type — deposits, withdrawals, verification, login — before it gives you the address.

There is a contradiction in the operator’s own pages that is worth flagging, because it will otherwise cost you a phone call you cannot make. The FAQ describes a “24 hours, 7 days per week call center to handle all email and telephone queries”. The contact page lists no telephone number, and there is no number anywhere else on the Ontario site. Treat this as a chat-and-email operation; the only phone number published on any Yukon Gold page is ConnexOntario’s help line, which is not customer service.

Is Yukon Gold Safe? Licence, Ownership and History

On the things that matter legally, yes. The operator is registered with the AGCO, appears on the iGaming Ontario register, and the Ontario site carries the licence number, the 19+ marker and the ConnexOntario referral. Player funds and dispute resolution fall under the provincial framework rather than an offshore one.

On independent testing, the operator states that its random number generator is reviewed independently and that results are published by eCOGRA, and it provides PlayCheck and Transaction History inside the client so you can audit your own play and banking history. Those are real tools and older than most of the province’s.

Two caveats belong here. The security page still describes 128-bit encryption as its protection standard, wording that has not been refreshed in a long time. And the brand’s history is genuinely long — the group markets a quarter-century of operation — but that history is Casino Rewards’ history under Kahnawake, not Ontario history. The AGCO-regulated product is the recent part.

Two points are specific to this operator. First, the seven-brand structure means any limit you set is a limit at one of seven doors; if you need the protection to actually hold, use a province-wide self-exclusion rather than a per-account setting. Second, the reversible withdrawal window described above is worth switching off in your own head before you need it: decide when you request the money that the request is final.

Yukon Gold vs Other Ontario Casinos

Yukon Gold is a specialist rather than an all-rounder, and it is easy to say who it suits.

Against Jackpot City, the other big Games Global lobby in the province, the catalogues overlap heavily but Jackpot City is browser-first and does not ask you to install anything on a computer. We started with the iGaming Ontario operator register, which is the only source that settles who legally runs a brand in this province. That is where Apollo Entertainment Ltd and the seven-casino structure came from, and it is also what corrected the licence on our own listing from Kahnawake to the AGCO.

The game and jackpot figures come from the operator’s own Ontario systems rather than from third parties: the progressive ticker each site queries for its live pool totals, read on Yukon Gold and on three sibling brands within the same minute to establish that the pools are shared, and read again in a second locale to establish that the currency label changes while the number does not. The lobby structure, shelf names and licence number were read from the Ontario build of the operator’s own app.
