Yes. Betano appears in the iGaming Ontario register of regulated sites under the operator Kaizen Gaming Canada Inc., listed for both casino and sports betting. The operator’s own footer gives the registration as OPIG1241376, issued 14 October 2022 and running to 16 August 2027, with the site supervised by the AGCO and conducted and managed by iGaming Ontario. Who Actually Runs Betano in Ontario

Betano is the international brand of Kaizen Gaming, a Greek company that publishes its own scale: more than three thousand staff, twenty active markets, thirteen million customers. Ontario is one of those twenty, and it is the only one in North America.

The Canadian entity is Kaizen Gaming Canada Inc., with a Toronto registered office, and the product it runs here is a single account covering casino, live casino, sportsbook and virtuals. There is no separate casino wallet and no transfer step.

What makes this operator unusual in Ontario is that the group builds its own platform rather than licensing one, and some of that engineering lands here in ways you can see: a jackpot network branded for Canada, a set of jackpot pools reserved for this province, and more than a dozen games carrying the Betano name that were commissioned from outside studios. The age labels are the part with consequences. Ontario is 19. The Google Play listing says 18 and points a Canadian player at a United States helpline, when the operator’s own help centre and site footer correctly say 19 and ConnexOntario. If you take your compliance information from the store page, you get the wrong province and the wrong country.

There is one more thing worth knowing, because affiliate pages will get it wrong. Betano is an official supporter of the 2026 World Cup for Europe and South America — the rights explicitly exclude the host territories, and Canada is a host. A tournament played in this country, sponsored by this brand, everywhere except here.

Two honest caveats. Those are category counts rather than one audited total, and they move — a lobby that publishes a number per shelf is telling you what is in the shelf today. And there is no crash category despite several crash-style titles being in the catalogue, so if that is what you came for, search rather than browse.

The distinction in that third row is one most reviews get wrong. Apple reports ratings per storefront, so the 4,469 ratings at 4.6 on iOS really are Canadian players. Google reports one global pool, so the 115,000 ratings are every market at once and say nothing specific about Ontario. No published hours and no service level, for any channel. The email situation is a small mess of the operator’s own making: one current article says the email channel has been replaced by the form, another current article still offers the address as a link.
