Interac Casinos in Ontario 2026

Interac casinos in Ontario are the rule, not the exception. Of the 32 sites registered with iGaming Ontario, 26 take Interac deposits and 21 pay withdrawals back through it. So the question worth asking is not who accepts Interac — it is who pays out on it, and how fast.

This page answers that from what each operator publishes about itself: help centres, banking pages, terms and the cashier screenshots operators put in their own app store listings. Where a site publishes nothing, it says so. The eight casinos below take Interac and can be opened from here.

Every Ontario Casino That Takes Interac

Twenty-six of the thirty-two registered operators accept Interac for deposits. Five of them take it in and never send it back — the money leaves by another route, usually a slower and more expensive one. Here is the whole province.

The minimum in the last column is the account minimum the operator publishes, not necessarily the Interac one — where a site prints a figure against the method itself, it appears further down. The six registered casinos missing from this table are BetMGM and ComeOn, which publish no method list outside a logged-in account, and Lucky Days, Captain Cooks, Casino Classic and Golden Tiger, which publish no Interac route we could read.

The Five Sites That Take Interac and Never Send It Back

Yukon Gold, Zodiac Casino, Grand Mondial and Luxury Casino accept Interac deposits and pay nothing out through it. Casino Days accepts Interac deposits and publishes no withdrawal route at all.

This is not a detail. The four Casino Rewards brands in that list share the same payout rules: a $50 minimum withdrawal, rising to $300 by bank transfer, and a fee of $50 on a wire — $100 above $3,000. Deposit ten dollars by Interac at Yukon Gold and the money can only come back by Visa, eCheque or a bank transfer, and only once the balance clears fifty.

Compare that with the operators that pay back the way you paid in: 888 Casino releases an Interac withdrawal from $5, and Betano from $10 on every method. The gap between five dollars and fifty is the single widest difference in Ontario banking, and it is invisible at the cashier when you deposit.

Interac e-Transfer or Interac Online: Only One Still Exists

Interac Online has been retired. It was a bank-redirect product, the banks stopped supporting it, and no Ontario casino can offer it today. Every “Interac” button in a regulated Ontario cashier is an Interac e-Transfer or an operator’s one-click wrapper around one.

It is worth stating plainly because the market has not caught up. PlayOJO still runs a dedicated Interac page that explains the difference between the two products and then recommends the dead one: “If you’re looking for OJO’s personal opinion on both, OJO will go with Interac Online.” A player who follows that advice is being pointed at a payment method that no longer works.

The practical version is simpler than the marketing. You send money from your own online banking, or you approve a payment through a screen the casino opens for you. Either way the casino never sees your card number, and the transfer settles between two Canadian bank accounts.

How to Deposit With Interac at an Ontario Casino

The flow is the same at every registered site, and takes about two minutes once the account exists.

  1. Open the cashier and choose Interac or Interac e-Transfer. Some sites list both a plain and a “one-click” version — the one-click route is the same rail with the banking step handled inside the casino.
  2. Enter the amount. It has to clear the site minimum, which runs from $5 at Betano and PartyCasino to C$20 at bet365 and Sports Interaction.
  3. Sign in to your bank on the screen that opens. It is your bank’s own login, not the casino’s.
  4. Approve the transfer. Deposits credit in minutes — Betano quotes about five, and the market standard is under ten.
  5. Upload your ID now, not later. Identity verification runs before your first payout, and doing it on day one is what separates a two-day withdrawal from a two-week one.

Only Canadian accounts at Canadian institutions work. A foreign card or a foreign bank account fails at this step rather than being declined later.

How Long an Interac Withdrawal Actually Takes

Every Interac payout has two clocks, and the marketing usually only mentions one. The first is the operator’s own approval — a person or a system releasing the request. The second is the transfer itself. “Instant” almost always describes the second clock while the first is still running.

Casino What the operator publishes Total, as stated
Casino Days Most requests approved within 5 minutes; funds arrive within 30 minutes; bank may add 24 hours Under an hour, in the operator’s account
PlayOJO Withdrawals targeted at 11 hours, longer if the payments team reviews 11 hours
Spin Genie Aims to process “within a few hours”; wins of C$5,000 or more trigger extra checks Hours, with a threshold
Betano Internal processing within 24 hours; e-Cashout arrives in minutes at banks supporting real-time payments, otherwise 1–4 business days 1–5 business days
PointsBet One business day to approve; Interac credited in 1–2 hours after that About one business day
bwin About 24 hours to approve; Interac credited within 8 hours after that Up to 32 hours
888 Casino Interac: 1 business day to accept, 1–3 to process 2–4 business days
Timings as published by each operator. These are operator claims, not payouts we have timed ourselves.

These are the operators’ own figures, published by them; this page reports them as claims and not as timings we measured. The pattern they share is the useful part — Interac is roughly twice as fast as a card at the same casino. At 888 Casino, Interac takes two to four business days against up to six for Visa and five to eight for a wire.

One setting on your side shortens the second clock at no cost: turn on Autodeposit in your banking app before the first withdrawal. Without it, an e-Transfer payout arrives as an email you have to open and answer with a security question, and it sits there until you do.

For how these numbers hold up against the rest of the market, see our page on instant withdrawal casinos in Ontario.

Interac Minimums and Ceilings, Where They Are Published

Three operators publish limits against Interac itself rather than against the account. They do not agree with each other, and the range is large.

Casino Interac deposit range Interac withdrawal
Betano $5 – $3,000 (e-Transfer: $10 – $3,000) Minimum $10, maximum $15,000
Casino Days $10 – $25,000 (one-click: $20 – $3,000) Not published
888 Casino From $10 Minimum $5
Spin Genie From C$10 No minimum on the payment pages; C$20 in the terms

Two things stand out. The ceiling on plain Interac at Casino Days is $25,000 while its own one-click version stops at $3,000 — the same brand, the same rail, an eightfold difference depending on which button you press. And Spin Genie’s own documents contradict each other on the withdrawal floor: the terms say C$20 “unless otherwise stated in the relevant casino pages”, and the payment pages state exactly that otherwise.

bet365, Betway, PowerPlay, BetVictor and SpinAway publish no Interac figures outside a logged-in account. Check the cashier before the first deposit rather than assuming the market default.

The Closed Loop: You Cash Out Where You Paid In

Regulated Ontario operators return money to the method it came from. Deposit by Interac and your withdrawal goes back by Interac — which is why the deposit choice quietly fixes the withdrawal choice.

Betano publishes this as an actual map of method to payout route rather than as a vague policy, and that is the honest way to do it. At 888 Casino the same rule has a consequence worth knowing: a large win on an account funded by several methods arrives split across them, not as one payment.

Where it bites is with methods that cannot receive money at all. Paysafecard, NeoSurf, ecoVoucher and Flexepin are vouchers with no account behind them, and Apple Pay and Google Pay are card wrappers. All six take deposits at Ontario casinos and none pays a withdrawal. Fund an account with a voucher and you will be asked for a second, payable method before the first cash-out — so pick the payout route before you fund, not after.

What Interac Looks Like on Your Bank Statement

Interac payments at Ontario casinos are processed by third-party providers, and it is their name that appears on your statement — not the casino’s. Knowing this ahead of time saves a call to your bank about a charge you do not recognise.

  • Gigadat — the Interac processor at 888 Casino, and the most common descriptor in the province.
  • Wyzia — the one-click Interac route at Casino Days.
  • PayDirect Billing Solutions — Interac deposits at Yukon Gold.
  • Ontario Reg Ltd — 888 Casino’s descriptor for most non-Interac methods.

None of these is a sign of anything irregular. They are the payment processors the operators contract with, and their presence on a statement is the normal shape of a regulated Ontario transaction.

Is Interac Safe at an Ontario Casino?

At a registered site, yes — and it is structurally safer than a card, because the casino never receives a card number. The transfer moves between two Canadian bank accounts and the operator sees only that it arrived.

The safety that matters more is who you are sending it to. All 32 sites on this page are registered with iGaming Ontario and regulated by the AGCO, which means a dispute has somewhere to go and payouts are a condition of the operator’s registration. A site outside that framework may well accept your Interac transfer, and you will have no recourse to the regulator if it does not send it back.

Interac itself is run by Interac Corp. and is the same rail Canadians use for rent and payroll. The risk in an online casino transaction is never the rail.

What Actually Delays an Interac Payout

It is almost never the payment method. The most common cause of a slow first withdrawal in Ontario is identity verification: registered operators must confirm who you are before releasing funds, and a name or address that does not match your ID stalls the payout until you send a document.

Three other things extend the clock, all of them predictable:

  • Large wins. Spin Genie triggers additional verification at C$5,000 and caps any single transaction at C$50,000.
  • A first use of a new method. Several operators add days the first time money goes out by a route it has not gone out by before.
  • The reversal window. Some sites keep a withdrawal cancellable while it is pending — 888 Casino for the first business day, the Casino Rewards brands for 48 hours. It is presented as a convenience, and it is also the mechanism most likely to turn a decision to stop into an open one. If you mean to keep the money, request it and log out.

How We Compiled This

Every figure here comes from something the operator publishes about itself: an Ontario help centre, a site footer, terms of use, a banking page, or the cashier screenshots operators put in their own app store listings. We read all 32 registered sites and recorded what each one states, method by method — the working matrix behind this page.

Where an operator publishes nothing, the entry reads “not published” rather than being filled in from an affiliate summary or a sister site in another market. That distinction matters more than it sounds. LeoVegas publishes a Canadian page saying Interac is deposit-only and that the major banks refuse its transfers, while its own Ontario cashier shows an Interac e-Transfer withdrawal being confirmed. Royal Panda’s payment article lists eight methods, none of which appear in its Ontario cashier. When an operator’s pages disagree, we take the one written for this province and say which it was.

We have not held accounts at all 32 operators and we do not present operator claims as timings we measured. The full method is set out in how we review Ontario casinos, and the rest of the banking picture in our guide to casino payment methods in Ontario.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Ontario casinos accept Interac?

Twenty-six of the 32 sites registered with iGaming Ontario, including bet365, 888 Casino, Betway, Betano, PlayOJO, Caesars, PointsBet and Jackpot City. Twenty-one of those also pay withdrawals back through Interac.

Can I withdraw with Interac e-Transfer in Ontario?

At 21 of the 26 casinos that accept Interac deposits, yes. Yukon Gold, Zodiac Casino, Grand Mondial and Luxury Casino take Interac in and pay out by another route; Casino Days publishes no Interac withdrawal at all.

What is the minimum Interac deposit at an Ontario casino?

Five dollars at Betano, PartyCasino, PointsBet and Caesars. Ten is the most common floor, and bet365 and Sports Interaction sit highest at twenty. Betano publishes $5 against Interac itself.

How long does an Interac casino withdrawal take in Ontario?

From under an hour to four business days, depending on the operator’s approval step rather than on Interac. Casino Days states 30 minutes, PlayOJO 11 hours, and 888 Casino two to four business days.

Does Interac Online still work at online casinos?

No. Interac Online was retired and the banks stopped supporting it. Every Interac option in a regulated Ontario cashier today is an e-Transfer, even where an operator’s own help pages still name the old product.

Are there fees on Interac at Ontario casinos?

Operators generally charge nothing on Interac in either direction, and Betano states so explicitly. Fees appear on other rails: a bank transfer at Luxury Casino or Zodiac Casino costs $50, or $100 above $3,000.
