Bank transfer is listed at 20 Ontario casinos, and, with eCheck, it is one of the few methods that more sites pay out than take in: 17 accept withdrawals, 13 deposits.
It is also the slowest route out, and the only method we found that carries its own withdrawal fee.
This page is built from what each operator publishes about itself: help centres, banking pages, terms of use and the cashier screenshots operators put in their own app store listings. Where a site publishes nothing, it says so. The sites are below.

A Method That Pays Out More Than It Takes In
Seventeen sites let you withdraw by bank transfer. Thirteen let you deposit by it. Five — 888 Casino, LeoVegas, bet365, Bally Bet and MONOPOLY Casino — will send money to your bank account but will not take money from it, and Mr Vegas names bank wire only as a way out.
Most other payment methods in Ontario either come close to balancing — PayPal pays out at eleven of its twelve sites — or lean the other way, most of them heavily. Fifteen of the twenty-four Apple Pay sites never pay back to the wallet. Six of the forty-seven Visa sites and twenty-two of the forty-seven Mastercard sites take deposits and pay out by another route. Even Interac, the province’s default, is 45 in and 37 out. The exception that leans the same way is eCheck, its close relative: nine sites pay out by it and one takes deposits by it.
The reason is structural rather than generous. A bank account is the one destination every operator can reach when nothing else works, so it survives as the fallback on the way out even at sites that never advertise it on the way in. Read it that way: bank transfer is not a feature these casinos are selling you, it is the route left over.
“Instant Bank Transfer” Is Not a Bank Transfer
The phrase is used for two completely different things, and the difference is days.
A real bank transfer — wire, EFT, direct credit — moves money between your bank and the operator’s, and takes from twelve hours to ten business days depending on the site. Instant banking is a third-party service that logs into your bank on your behalf and confirms the payment immediately: iDebit, InstaDebit, Trustly and eCheck. Your money leaves the same account, but a company sits in the middle.
Twenty-three of the Ontario sites we cover offer instant banking, and thirteen of those also list the slow kind, which is where the confusion starts:
| Service | Ontario sites | Which |
|---|---|---|
| Trustly / online banking | 12 | BET99, BetMGM, BetRivers, bwin, Caesars Casino, FanDuel, Lucky Days, PartyCasino, PointsBet, Sports Interaction, Stardust Casino, Wheel of Fortune Casino |
| eCheck | 9 | Grand Mondial, High Flyer Casino, Jackpot City, Luxury Casino, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune, Spin Casino, Yukon Gold, Zodiac Casino |
| InstaDebit | 4 | Betway, bwin, High Flyer Casino, NorthStar Bets |
| iDebit | 2 | Betway, High Flyer Casino |
Ten sites offer instant banking without listing the slow kind at all: Betway, FanDuel, High Flyer Casino, Jackpot City, Lucky Days, NorthStar Bets, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune, Spin Casino and Stardust Casino. If a comparison page tells you any of them supports “bank transfer”, it is describing iDebit or InstaDebit at Betway, Trustly or online banking at FanDuel, Lucky Days and Stardust, eCheck at Jackpot City, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino, InstaDebit at NorthStar Bets, or eCheck, iDebit and InstaDebit at High Flyer — not a wire.
The phrase also turns up inside one cashier: BET99 lists an “Instant Bank Transfer” alongside Trustly. It is counted in the bank transfer table above under the operator’s own label, as a deposit method.
The Only Bank Transfer Fee We Found in Ontario
Almost nothing in this province costs money to withdraw by bank. Four sites are the exception, and they are all in the same group.
Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac Casino charge $50 to withdraw by direct bank transfer or wire, rising to $100 above $3,000. All four are Casino Rewards brands publishing the same banking FAQ, and all four set the minimum withdrawal by that route at $300 against $50 on their other methods.
The schedule is printed word for word in each brand’s FAQ: “CADEFT: No Cost DBT: $50 — Note: DBT Withdrawals over $3000: $100. All other methods: No Cost.”
All four offer CAD EFT or eCheque free of charge, and it lands in two to three business days instead of six to ten. So at all four the fee is entirely avoidable — but only if you read the FAQ before you pick a method in the cashier, and nothing in the cashier flow prompts you to.
Add the group’s 48-hour pending period, during which a withdrawal can be reversed back into your balance with one click, and the slow paid route is the worst of both: more time to change your mind, and a charge at the end of it.
Mr Vegas, which names bank wire as its way out, charges nothing on the wire itself. Its terms do reserve a fee of up to 3.95% on deposits withdrawn without being wagered, and an administrative fee on some other withdrawals, for instance more than one in seven days.
Minimums Run From $5 to $2,500
The spread on this method is wider than on any other in Ontario, and it is not correlated with how good the site is.
| Casino | Minimum | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| 888 Casino | $5 | Withdrawal by wire |
| Caesars Casino | C$5 | Deposit |
| PointsBet | C$5 | Deposit and withdrawal |
| bet365 | $10 | Withdrawal (bank transfer is withdrawal-only) |
| Bally Bet | $10 | Withdrawal by EFT (bank transfer is withdrawal-only) |
| MONOPOLY Casino | $10 | Withdrawal by EFT (bank transfer is withdrawal-only), up to $10,000 |
| SpinAway | CA$10 | Withdrawal |
| Sports Interaction | 10 CAD | Withdrawal by Online Banking or wire |
| BET99 | $20 | Deposit by Instant Bank Transfer (the same on every method) |
| Mr Vegas | CAD$20 | Withdrawal by bank wire |
| LeoVegas | $75 | Bank withdrawal (Interac withdrawals from $20) |
| Casino Rewards brands | $300 | Withdrawal by direct transfer or wire |
| Caesars Casino | $2,500 | Wire transfer, separate Ontario form |
Caesars appears twice on purpose. It has one of the lowest deposit floors in the province at C$5 and, at the same time, a wire transfer facility that does not open until $2,500 and requires a separate request form for Ontario players. Those are two different products sharing a cashier.
At the other end, 888 Casino’s $5 wire withdrawal floor is the lowest on this list — and its wire is also the slowest documented payout on the site at five to eight business days. Cheapest to start, longest to arrive.
How to Deposit by Bank Transfer in Ontario
- Complete identity verification first. A bank transfer is the method most likely to be held for review, because it arrives without the card or wallet details that verify you automatically.
- Check the account name matches. Ontario operators will not accept a transfer from an account in someone else’s name, and returning it takes days.
- Take the reference number from the cashier and use it exactly. Without it the operator cannot match your money to your account.
- Expect a wait on the way in as well as out. Only instant banking credits immediately; a true transfer posts on your bank’s schedule.
- Plan the route out before you fund. Several sites pay back only to the method you deposited with.
If you want the money to move today, this is the wrong method in both directions. Interac e-Transfer is supported at 46 of the 51 sites and is faster at every one of them.
How Long a Bank Transfer Withdrawal Takes
Fourteen of the seventeen that pay out this way publish a figure for this route; LeoVegas and SpinAway publish one figure for every withdrawal method, and Mr Vegas a 48-hour processing time once documents are approved. The range is the widest of any method covered on this site: twelve hours to ten business days.
| Casino | Published time | Before that clock starts |
|---|---|---|
| bet365 | Within 12 hours | Aims to process within 2 hours of the request |
| PointsBet | 1–2 business days in one help article, 2–3 in another | 1 business day processing |
| Caesars Casino | 1–2 business days (eCheck) | Approval, documents may be requested; terms allow up to 72 hours of internal processing |
| BetRivers | 2–5 business days | Approval, cleared instantly for most by RushPay |
| bwin | 3–5 business days | Up to 2 business days of review |
| PartyCasino | 3–5 business days | 24 hours to 2 business days of review |
| Sports Interaction | 3–5 business days | Approval; for a wire, a review of up to 2 business days (Online Banking: about 24 hours, then 2 business days) |
| Bally Bet | 3–5 working days (EFT) | Typically processed within 24 hours |
| MONOPOLY Casino | 3–5 working days (EFT) | Authorised within 24 hours; up to five more business days if documents are requested |
| SpinAway | Up to 5 working days, depending on method (no bank-specific figure) | Processing within 24 hours, once the account is verified |
| LeoVegas | Up to 5 business days (one figure for all withdrawals) | Terms aim to process within 24 hours |
| Mr Vegas | No bank-specific figure | Processed within 48 hours once documents are approved |
| 888 Casino | 5–8 business days | Cancellable for the first business day |
| Casino Rewards brands (Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold, Zodiac Casino) | 6–10 business days | 48-hour pending period, then the next business day |
No site that pays out this way is silent on timing, but gaps remain: Caesars publishes no time for its wire, only for eCheck, and LeoVegas, SpinAway and Mr Vegas give no figure specific to a bank withdrawal.
Read the third column, because the headline number is never the whole wait. A Zodiac or Yukon Gold wire is six to ten business days after a 48-hour hold — realistically two weeks. A PartyCasino transfer is three to five days after a review that can itself take two.
The one genuinely quick number here is bet365’s: within 12 hours, with the operator aiming to process the request within two. PointsBet’s is next, but its help centre gives one to two business days in its general withdrawals article and two to three in its Online Banking article, so plan on the slower of the two.
A Wrong Currency and a List of Refusing Banks
bwin runs its Ontario cashier in Canadian dollars, but its Online Banking page fixes the minimum withdrawal at $10.00 USD and the maximum at $5,000 USD. Neither figure is in the currency the account is held in, and the operator publishes no Canadian equivalent.
LeoVegas needs a different warning. Its Ontario help centre lists banks that “do not accept funds from online casinos” — Royal Bank of Canada, CIBC, Connexus, Santander, TD Canada Trust, Bank of Nova Scotia and Tangerine — and suggests that customers of those banks withdraw to an account at another bank. Otherwise it pays out by bank withdrawal from $75 to $9,999 and by Interac e-Transfer from $20 to $4,000.
This is a pattern worth carrying to any payments research in this province: operator pages served on Ontario URLs are frequently written for another market. Check the currency symbol before you trust the number.
Bank Transfer or Interac?
For almost everyone in Ontario, Interac. It reaches 46 of the 51 sites against 20, costs nothing anywhere, and pays out in hours rather than days.
Bank transfer earns its place in three situations. When the amount is large enough that a per-transaction cap gets in the way — Caesars documents wires from $2,500 with no stated ceiling, while Interac withdrawals there cap at $25,000 per transaction. When the site pays out only to the method you deposited with and your deposit came in that way. And when your Interac Autodeposit is not set up and you would rather not handle the email-and-security-code version.
Outside those cases it is the slower, occasionally costlier option, and the 31 sites that skip it entirely are not missing much.
Is a Bank Transfer Safe at an Ontario Casino?
At a registered site, yes, and it is the method with the least to steal. No card number, no wallet login and no third party sits between you and the operator — the money moves between two named bank accounts and both ends are recorded.
The check that matters is the one before you transfer: the site must be registered with iGaming Ontario. A transfer sent to an unregistered operator leaves your bank with no dispute route, which is not true of a card payment. Every casino on this page is on the province’s register.
Watch your statement descriptor as well. At 888 Casino, a wire withdrawal may arrive under a variant of 888*Ontario Limited, WorldPay AP Limited or Inpay; at bet365 the sender may show as Earthport, Hillside, Worldpay or Paybilt — worth knowing before you query a payment you do not recognise.
How We Built This Page
We read the published payment documentation at all 51 sites we cover on the iGaming Ontario register — help centres, banking pages, footers, terms of use and the cashier screenshots operators upload to the App Store and Google Play — and recorded, per site, whether bank transfer works in each direction, with the minimum and the published timing.
We did not use the payment lists on our own older review pages, which were inherited and out of date. Where an operator publishes a figure only in a foreign currency, we report that fact rather than converting it. Where an operator publishes nothing, the table says “not published” instead of an estimate.
Bank Transfer Casino Questions
Which Ontario casinos accept bank transfers?
Twenty of the 51 registered sites we cover list it, including bet365, Bally Bet, BetRivers, bwin, Caesars, MONOPOLY Casino, PointsBet and PartyCasino. Thirteen take deposits that way and seventeen pay withdrawals out that way; BetMGM lists bank wire without stating the direction.
How long does a casino bank transfer take?
From twelve hours to ten business days, plus the operator’s own review period. bet365 publishes within 12 hours; PointsBet one to two business days in one help article and two to three in another; Zodiac Casino and Yukon Gold six to ten after a 48-hour hold.
Do Ontario casinos charge for bank transfers?
Almost none do. The exceptions are four Casino Rewards brands — Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac Casino — which charge $50 for a direct transfer or wire, rising to $100 above $3,000. Their CAD EFT option costs nothing and is faster.
Is instant bank transfer the same as a bank transfer?
No. Instant banking — iDebit, InstaDebit, Trustly, eCheck — is a third-party service that confirms payment immediately. A true bank transfer usually takes days. Twenty-three of the Ontario sites we cover offer the instant kind.
What is the minimum bank transfer at an Ontario casino?
It ranges from C$5 at Caesars and PointsBet to $300 at the Casino Rewards brands. Caesars separately requires $2,500 for a wire transfer, using a dedicated Ontario request form.
Can I deposit by bank transfer and withdraw another way?
Sometimes. Several Ontario sites pay out only to the method you deposited with, and require it verified in your name. Check the rule before funding, not at cash-out.
