Casino Classic Ontario is operated by Apollo Entertainment Ltd under AGCO licence OPIG1246861, and it is one of seven sites the same company runs in this province — alongside Captain Cooks, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac. They are not related brands. They are one machine with seven front doors: the four game grids here are identical to two of the sisters, tile for tile and in the same order, and the jackpot feed answers with the same numbers to the cent on all seven domains.

Casino Classic is the newest of them. Its Android app was published on 4 June 2026 and carries 1,000+ installs against 50,000+ at Grand Mondial. It is also the one brand of the group whose licence number is stated consistently on both app stores — two of its sisters print Golden Tiger’s number instead of their own. The AGCO fined this operator C$100,000 in 2023 over responsible gambling failures.

Is Casino Classic Legal in Ontario?

Yes. Casino Classic appears in the iGaming Ontario register of regulated sites under the operator Apollo Entertainment Ltd, listed for casino only, and the operator’s Ontario terms state that it “is regulated by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and operates under an Internet Gaming Operator licence issued by the AGCO”.

The licence number is OPIG1246861, and Casino Classic is the one brand in this group that gets it right everywhere. The number is absent from the site itself — a search for “OPIG” across every public page returns nothing — but both store creatives print the same number under the iGaming Ontario mark. Two of its sisters cannot say that: the Google Play creatives for Grand Mondial and Captain Cooks both show OPIG1246860, which belongs to Golden Tiger.

Registered operator Apollo Entertainment Ltd, Villa Seminia, Ta’ Xbiex, Malta
Licence number OPIG1246861 — consistent on both stores, absent from the site
Ontario address ontario.casinoclassic.casino
Offerings on the register Casino only — no sportsbook, no poker, no bingo
Sister sites in Ontario Six: Captain Cooks, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac
Minimum age 19, with wagering restricted to players physically in Ontario

The address is worth checking on the way in. The Ontario casino is ontario.casinoclassic.casino; the bare casinoclassic.casino is the international site and your Ontario account does not exist there. The Ontario terms nevertheless close by asking you to agree to conditions “on casinoclassic.casino” — the international address, in the provincial document.

Who Actually Runs Casino Classic in Ontario

The iGaming Ontario register filtered to Apollo Entertainment Ltd, listing the seven casino sites the company runs in the province: Captain Cooks, Casino Classic, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Yukon Gold and Zodiac

Apollo Entertainment Ltd is a Malta company and the licence holder for seven casino sites in this province, all on the ontario.[brand].casino pattern. Behind the brands sits Casino Rewards, whose helpdesk answers for every one of them and whose in-house titles fill their lobbies.

The terms spell out what that means for your account. An account on any Apollo brand in Ontario is a sub-account: “upon creation of a Player’s initial account on any casino brand managed by Apollo, a Player will be immediately assigned a player specific ‘Global Account’”, and “all activity on a Player’s Sub-accounts will be monitored and managed via their Global Account”.

The consequence deserves stating plainly, because the marketing never does: a deposit limit you set at Casino Classic follows you to the other six sites. Deposit limits, loss limits and wagering settings all attach to the Global Account. At most groups they would not.

The harder fact is in the same file. On 10 August 2023 the AGCO issued Apollo Entertainment Ltd a Notice of Monetary Penalty of C$100,000 over the responsible gambling provisions of the Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming, alleging “failing to conduct required interventions with players who may be experiencing gambling related harms”, “failing to implement an adequate voluntary self-exclusion program” and “failing to ensure their employees understood the importance of responsible gambling”. The regulator cited a player who lost more than two million dollars in under four months without intervention. The penalty was issued to the entity, so it covers all seven brands.

The Newest of the Seven

The Casino Classic Ontario Google Play creative, printing the same licence number OPIG1246861 as the App Store version — the only Apollo brand of the four that matches

Casino Classic is the youngest arrival in this group, and the numbers make that unusually easy to see.

Its Android app was published on 4 June 2026. Its sisters have been on the store far longer — Golden Tiger since June 2024, Grand Mondial since December 2024, Captain Cooks since August 2025 — and the install counts line up accordingly.

Casino Classic Released 4 June 2026 — 1,000+ installs, 23 reviews, rated 4.5
Captain Cooks Released 26 August 2025 — 10,000+ installs, 154 reviews, rated 4.2
Golden Tiger Released 27 June 2024 — 10,000+ installs, 381 reviews, rated 4.4
Grand Mondial Released 16 December 2024 — 50,000+ installs, 377 reviews, rated 4.4

On Apple the same story: 65 ratings here against 452 for Captain Cooks, 825 for Golden Tiger and 1,593 for Luxury Casino. Casino Classic is a new front door on a machine that has been running for years.

That has one practical implication and it is a good one. Because the platform is shared, a newer brand does not mean a thinner product — the games, the jackpots and the limits are the same as at the established sisters from day one. What being new costs you is track record: fewer players have reported on this particular door, and its own store rating rests on 23 reviews.

What it does not buy you is a better-documented site. /en/banking/ redirects to /en/faq/, which returns a bare 404 from the server. There is no cashier page, no payment method listed in text, no fee schedule and no processing time.

Casino Classic Ontario Casino Games

There is no public lobby — every “See more games” button leads to registration — so what follows comes from the home page grids and the operator’s own live jackpot feed.

Slots

The Most Popular Games grid on Casino Classic Ontario, identical tile for tile to the same grid at Golden Tiger and Captain Cooks

The home page carries four grids of twelve tiles: Most Popular Games, New Releases, Exclusive & Early Access and Live Casino. We extracted the same four grids from Golden Tiger and Captain Cooks on the same day and compared them position by position. They are identical — the same 48 tiles, in the same order, from the same Casino Rewards CDN. Across those 48 positions there are 41 distinct games: Amazing Builder Dragons appears in three grids, and five other titles appear in two.

The Casino Rewards Originals

The Exclusive and Early Access grid at Casino Classic Ontario, made up largely of Casino Rewards in-house games shared with all seven Apollo brands

The “Exclusive & Early Access” grid is the only genuinely particular part of this catalogue, and it belongs to the group rather than the brand. Six of its twelve tiles are in-house: Rewards City, Casino Rewards VIP, Casino Rewards Gold Blitz Ultimate, Casino Rewards Hyperstar, Rising Casino Rewards and Hyper Strike CR. A seventh, Casino Rewards 25 Years, sits in Most Popular. They are exclusive to all seven sisters at once.

The Moolah Network

Casino Classic names no jackpot game anywhere on its Ontario pages and publishes no figures. Its own feed does. At 10:22 UTC on 27 August 2026 the Mega pool stood at CA$13,719,280.15, shared by six titles — Mega Moolah, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah and two entries for Mega Vault Millionaire — against a total across all progressives of CA$84,289,227.85. The same request sent to all seven Apollo domains inside the same second returned identical figures on every one, to the cent.

Other Progressives

Below the Mega tier the feed carried Gold Factory Jackpots at CA$1,434,215.26, Major Millions at CA$490,048.25, Treasure Nile at CA$40,547.20 and Cash Splash at CA$8,736.24 at the same timestamp. Major Millions climbs at six cents a second against one for the Mega pool — the smaller pot fills faster because more of each stake goes into it.

Live Dealer Casino

The Live Casino grid at Casino Classic Ontario, all twelve tables from Pragmatic Play, above a FAQ whose first question asks What is the Best Odds Guarantee

The Live Casino grid holds twelve tables and every one is Pragmatic Play: Blackjack 144 Gold, Baccarat 3, Fortune Roulette, Mega Wheel, Mega Sic Bo, Boom City, Andar Bahar, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Dice City, 24D Spin, Jacks or Better Draw Poker and the Pragmatic live lobby. No Evolution, no Playtech, nothing in house. It is the same floor as at the sister sites.

Roulette and Table Games

Beyond those live tables the operator publishes nothing about its RNG table games: no count, no variant list, no table limits, no house-edge figures.

The Best Odds Guarantee

Casino Classic runs a page for a claim the group makes under three different names — here it is the “Best Odds Guarantee”, at Golden Tiger the “RTP Guarantee”, at Captain Cooks the “Highest Win Rate Guarantee”. On this brand the page cannot decide either: both names appear on it. The substance is the same everywhere — providers ship the same game at several return-to-player settings and this group says it always takes the highest, “typically ranging between 96% and 99.9%”. It is a candid description of how the industry works and it is unverifiable here: no table, no per-game figure, no third-party report, and a footer line stating it “is not a warranty or promise of specific player outcomes”.

Video Poker and Instant Games

One video poker title is visible without an account — Jacks or Better Draw Poker, in the live grid, from Pragmatic. Everything else in this category is behind the registration form and no list is published.

Software Providers

The New Releases grid at Casino Classic Ontario, showing the same twelve titles in the same order as its sister sites

Only two studios are named anywhere on the site: Pragmatic Play and Games Global. Neither is attached to a game count. The filenames behind the grids say more — the live floor is entirely Pragmatic, and a large block of the exclusives is Casino Rewards’ own. For a site publishing a return-to-player promise, naming two suppliers and stopping is a strange place to stop.

The Casino Classic App

The Casino Classic Ontario App Store creative, printing License No. OPIG1246861 beneath the iGaming Ontario mark

The apps are the best-documented part of this operation, because the stores compel it — and here they are also the newest.

iOS Casino Classic Ontario, bundle ontario.casinoclassic.casino, version 3.1.3, updated 19 August 2026, 37 MB, rated 4.5 from 65 ratings, 17+, requires iOS 16.0
Android Package ontario.casinoclassic.casino, version 3.1.3, updated 14 August 2026, released 4 June 2026, rated 4.5 from 23 reviews, 1,000+ installs
Publisher Apollo Entertainment Ltd on both stores
Licence on the creative OPIG1246861 on both — consistent, unlike two of its sisters
Age rating 17+ on Apple, “Adults only 18+” on Google, 19+ in the description. Ontario’s legal age is 19

The 4.5 rating is the joint highest of the seven Apollo apps on Google Play, and it rests on 23 reviews — which is the honest way to read it. There is not yet enough evidence to separate this app from its sisters, and since they are the same build, there probably never will be.

One oddity: the site never mentions that the apps exist. There is no download link, no store badge and no app page. A player who wants the app has to know to look for it.

Seventy-odd ratings is the thinnest sample of any Ontario casino app we looked at, so treat the score as indicative rather than settled. The fuller samples are in our Ontario casino app comparison.

How to Sign Up and Log In at Casino Classic Ontario

The flow is the same across all seven brands, and it opens a Global Account whether you notice or not.

  1. Confirm you are on the Ontario site. The address must read ontario.casinoclassic.casino. The version without the Ontario prefix is the international operation, where an Ontario account does not exist.
  2. Press Register, top right. There is no separate sign-up page — every “Play Now” and “See more games” button leads to the same form.
  3. Enter your details and prove your age and address. You must be 19 or over and physically in Ontario. Identity is verified before you can withdraw, so use the name that matches your bank account.
  4. Set your deposit and loss limits before you fund the account. Do this first. The limits attach to your Global Account and cover all seven Apollo brands at once; reductions apply immediately, increases wait 24 hours.
  5. Fund the account. The terms set a $10 minimum deposit. Which methods are accepted is not published on this site — you find out inside the cashier.

To log in afterwards, use the Login button in the same header. If you already hold an account at any other Apollo brand in Ontario, those credentials belong to the Global Account behind it rather than to this individual site.

Casino Classic Payments in Ontario

The Casino Classic Ontario footer, showing the iGaming Ontario, eCOGRA, Pragmatic Play and Games Global marks, the win rate guarantee disclaimer and an unfilled affiliate ID placeholder

This is the shortest section in this review, and that is the finding.

Minimum deposit $10, stated in the terms and in the store listing
Minimum withdrawal $50 under the terms
Weekly payout ceiling $4,000 a week for wins “substantially greater” than lifetime deposits across all Casino Rewards casinos, at the operator’s discretion
Methods Not published in text. The only trace anywhere on the site is a Mastercard logo in the footer — no Visa, no Interac
Fees and timings Not published
Reversing a withdrawal Not published. The sister site Zodiac documents a 48-hour reversible window; Casino Classic says nothing
Currency Never named on the site. The store listing says “$CA10”

The banking page does not merely fail to inform — it fails to load. /en/banking/ redirects to /en/faq/ and that returns a raw server 404, not even a styled error page. Zodiac, on identical software from the same licence holder, publishes methods, per-method timings, fees and withdrawal rules in full.

One clause is worth reading before depositing. The card-network limits in the terms are given in euros and US dollars with Canadian approximations, and the conversion has been applied to the wrong column: “One-Day: 30/50,000.00 USD (approximately 41/68,000 CAD)”. The 30 is a count of transactions, not an amount, and it has been exchanged into 41. The error repeats across all three lines of the table.

Casino Classic Customer Support

The Frequently Asked Questions section on the Casino Classic Ontario home page, including the Best Odds Guarantee and the loyalty programme

Two channels, and a third the group’s own text describes but does not have.

Email support@crhelpdesk.com — the shared Casino Rewards desk, answering for all seven Ontario brands and the international sites
Live chat Yes, reached from the contact page and from inside the casino
Telephone None published on any page of the Ontario site
Loyalty tiers Six announced, five named. The sixth is never identified

The email address is drawn as an image rather than written as text, so it cannot be copied, cannot be read by a screen reader and will not be found by searching the page. The contact page is orphaned — not linked from any menu or footer. The support icons on this review reflect what is genuinely reachable rather than what is advertised.

The telephone gap matters more than it looks. The group’s FAQ text describes a “24 hour 7 days per week call center to handle all email and telephone queries” and then supplies an email address. A player in difficulty reads “call center” and goes looking for a number that is not there.

Is Casino Classic Safe? Licence, Ownership and History

The structural protections are real. Casino Classic operates under an AGCO Internet Gaming Operator licence and an agreement with iGaming Ontario, which means funds are handled under the Registrar’s Standards and disputes can be escalated to the regulator. Of the four Apollo brands we examined closely, this is the one whose licence number is stated consistently wherever it is stated at all.

Four things temper that.

First, the C$100,000 penalty the AGCO issued to this operator in August 2023 over responsible gambling failures — public record, and the reason this review reads those pages carefully.

Second, the eCOGRA seal in the footer certifies the international domain, casinoclassic.casino, not the Ontario site the iGO register lists. The payout report behind it covers sixteen Casino Rewards brands worldwide, of which only seven are registered in this province.

Third, the documents carry the group’s copy-paste. The Ontario terms refer to the “Zodiac Casino account” in a clause used to void winnings — the wrong brand, in a binding document. The three legal pages are timestamped in a +1100 zone, identical to the second across all seven brands. The responsible gambling page recommends CyberPatrol and CYBERsitter, filtering tools that are discontinued or now redirect elsewhere, and sends Ontario players to the British GambleAware for a self-assessment rather than to ConnexOntario.

Fourth, the terms consent on your behalf to your gameplay being used to train AI: “Player consents to the casino’s use, processing, and analysis of all Player Data (including but not limited to gameplay data, behavioural patterns, performance metrics, user interactions, and any content submitted by Player) for artificial intelligence training, machine learning model development, and related research purposes.” The sentence after it promises to seek consent “where required by law”. The clause appears in the terms of all seven brands.

None of that makes the casino unsafe to use. It does mean the operator’s own documentation is not a reliable guide to its own product.

Responsible Gambling in Ontario

The tools are good and the page explaining them is aimed at the wrong country.

Limits Deposit, loss and logged-in time, each daily, weekly or monthly. Increases take 24 hours; reductions are immediate
Across brands Settings attach to your Global Account and cover all seven Apollo sites in Ontario
Take a Break 24 hours up to 3 months
Self-exclusion 6 months, or 1 to 5 years — irreversible once applied
BetGuard The province-wide self-exclusion run by iGaming Ontario, covering every registered site, at betguard.ca — support line 1-833-776-7171
ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600, free, 24 hours

The cross-brand limit is the standout, and after a penalty for exactly this category of failure it is the thing the operator most needed to get right. It did.

The signposting around it is another matter: a self-assessment aimed at British players, filtering software that no longer exists, and instructions that assume a downloadable casino client. And the asymmetry underneath is hard to defend anywhere — a self-exclusion here cannot be undone, while the group publishes instructions for undoing a withdrawal.

Casino Classic vs Other Ontario Casinos

Casino Classic is the newest door onto an old machine. Nothing behind the door is new.

Pick Casino Classic if You want the Apollo network from the brand whose licence details are consistent, with limits that carry across all seven
Pick Zodiac if You want the same machine from a site that publishes its cashier rules in full
Pick 888 Casino if You want a counted catalogue, published volatility and a verified phone line
Pick BetMGM if You want a jackpot network with documented Ontario payouts behind it

Against the field, the missing cashier costs Casino Classic most. A $50 withdrawal floor is an outlier in a province where several operators pay from $5; a banking page that 404s is worse than an outlier.

How We Reviewed Casino Classic Ontario

Everything here is traceable to the operator, the regulator or a public app store.

The registration, the sister-site list and the Ontario address come from the iGaming Ontario register, filtered to Apollo Entertainment Ltd. The licence number was read from the operator’s own store creatives at full resolution and cross-checked against the creatives of four sister brands — which is how we can say this one is consistent and two of the others are not. The jackpot figures come from the live ticker the site itself runs, queried across all seven Apollo domains within the same second on 27 August 2026. The lobby comparison was made by extracting the CDN filenames behind the home page grids of three sister sites and comparing them position by position. The store release dates, install counts and ratings come from the Canadian storefronts on the same day. The penalty is published by the AGCO.

Where the operator does not publish a number — the game count, the payment methods, the fees, the table list — this page says so rather than borrowing one from a sister site. Two brands under one licence holder are not the same product just because they run the same software, and the difference between what Zodiac publishes and what Casino Classic publishes is the most useful thing on this page.

Casino Classic is a new front door on a machine that has been running for years, and the newness is real: the Android app landed on 4 June 2026 and has 1,000+ installs where Grand Mondial has 50,000+. Because the platform is shared, that costs you nothing in product — the games, the jackpots and the limits are the same from day one. On 27 August 2026 the shared Moolah pool behind it stood at CA$13,719,280.15, reported identically by all seven Apollo sites to the cent. And the group does one thing better than most of this province: the deposit and loss limits you set here apply to all seven brands at once.

This is also the brand in the group that gets its licence details right — OPIG1246861 on both store creatives, where Grand Mondial and Captain Cooks both print Golden Tiger’s number on Google Play. Credit where it is due, because that is the one field a player is told to check.

Everything else is the group’s standard failure to document itself. The banking page redirects to a FAQ that serves a raw 404; there is no payment method in text anywhere, no fee schedule, no processing time and no statement of whether a withdrawal can be reversed — while Zodiac, on identical software, publishes all of it. A $50 withdrawal floor sits against a $10 deposit, with a $4,000 weekly ceiling on large wins. The terms still name Zodiac Casino in a clause about voiding winnings, the responsible gambling page recommends filtering tools that no longer exist and sends Ontario players to a British charity, and the terms consent on your behalf to your gameplay being used for AI training. If you want to know how you will be paid before you register, use Zodiac instead.
