$20 Deposit Casinos in Ontario: Six Licensed Sites That Start at C$20

$20 Deposit Casinos in Ontario

Six licensed Ontario casinos are $20 deposit casinos: Casino Days, TonyBet, BET99, NorthStar Bets, Titan Play and High Flyer Casino all set their minimum at $20. Pinnacle sits in between, at $15 by MuchBetter and $25 by Interac or card.

A higher entry point has one practical advantage: the deposit usually covers the way out as well. At Casino Days, NorthStar Bets, Titan Play and High Flyer the minimum withdrawal is also $20, and at TonyBet it is $10. Across the market, $20 clears the published deposit minimum at all 56 licensed casinos that publish one, by at least one method.

Every casino here is on the iGaming Ontario register, and every figure comes from the operator’s own payments page, help centre, terms or cashier, as recorded in our review of each site. For lower entry points, see our guides to $10 deposit casinos in Ontario, $5 deposit casinos and $1 deposit casinos; every route is compared in our guide to casino payment methods in Ontario.

The six licensed Ontario casinos whose lowest published minimum deposit is $20, and Pinnacle, which starts at $15 or $25 depending on the method. Scores out of 5, from our reviews.

At six of the seven the published withdrawal floor is $20 or lower, so the deposit meets it as it stands; BET99 pays out to whichever method you deposited with. The differences that matter sit in the last columns: how long a payout takes, and what it costs if the deposit has not been played. TonyBet, Pinnacle and Titan Play attach a cost or a condition to an unplayed deposit.

Which casinos make the $20 list

A casino is here if its own pages give $20 as its lowest minimum for real-money deposits; CAD 20 counts as $20. Casino Days publishes two figures, $20 on every method in its Ontario help centre and $10 by Interac and MuchBetter in the cashier shown in its app listing, and is listed at the help-centre figure. Pinnacle is included because $20 falls between its two floors: it covers a MuchBetter deposit but not Interac or a card.

Two names often found on $20 lists are not here. Sports Interaction’s cashier, as its own App Store screenshots show it, starts at C$10 on Interac, Apple Pay and Mastercard, which makes it a $10 casino. LeoVegas takes $20 only by card and Google Pay, with Interac from $10, and PowerPlay asks $20 only for Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Why $20 is enough almost everywhere

Twenty dollars is the amount at which the Ontario market stops saying no. Of the 70 licensed casinos we review, 56 publish a minimum deposit, and $20 clears it at every one: 41 start at $10, 8 at $5 or less, 6 at $20, and Pinnacle takes it by MuchBetter. It also meets the published withdrawal floor at 45 of the 55 casinos that publish one.

Nine $10 casinos where $20 is the real starting point

Nine casinos take $10 but pay nothing out below $20: Betinia, Videoslots, ToonieBet, LeoVegas, SlotsMagic, Knightslots, Mr Vegas, Swiper and NEO.bet. At those nine, $20 is the smallest deposit that meets the withdrawal floor as it stands. Five of them, though, charge or hold back a deposit that has not been wagered once: Betinia, Videoslots, Mr Vegas, NEO.bet and LeoVegas. Play the deposit through before you ask for it back.

The $20 casinos one by one

Four figures decide a $20 deposit at each casino: the minimum in, the minimum out, the processing time and the fees. They come first in each profile, followed by how the money gets back to you.

Casino Days: every payout leaves by Interac e-Transfer

  • Minimum deposit: $20 on every method (Ontario help centre); $10 by Interac and MuchBetter (App Store cashier)
  • Minimum withdrawal: $20, by Interac e-Transfer, up to $10,000
  • Processing time: most withdrawals within 5 minutes, funds under 30 minutes once approved (app listing); within 48 hours (help centre)
  • Fees: no operator fees on deposits or withdrawals; $5 monthly fee after 13 months of inactivity

Casino Days gives two published figures for the entry point. Its Ontario help centre sets $20 on every deposit method, with Interac, Visa, Mastercard and Paysafecard all starting there, while the cashier in its App Store screenshots shows $10 by Interac and by MuchBetter. Ceilings differ widely by method: $250 on Paysafecard, $3,500 on cards, $10,000 on Interac and $20,000 on MuchBetter. Only one route pays back. Withdrawals go by Interac e-Transfer, so money paid in by card, voucher or MuchBetter comes out through Interac.

The withdrawal floor is $20 as well, so a $20 balance is enough to cash out, with $10,000 as the Interac ceiling. Your bank can add up to 24 hours to the operator’s own timing. A pending withdrawal can be cancelled from ‘Pending Transactions’ in the cashier. Casino Days charges no fees of its own on deposits or withdrawals; the one charge is $5 a month on an account left inactive for 13 months.

Casino Days is licensed in Ontario through Golden Nebula Limited, the operator named on the iGaming Ontario register, which lists it for casino only. The Ontario lobby counts 2,673 games from 53 studios, 228 of them live tables, and the iOS app holds 4.6 from 1,873 ratings, with 4.53 from 410 on Android.

TonyBet: wager $10 first or lose $5 on the way out

  • Minimum deposit: $20 to activate a payment method
  • Minimum withdrawal: $10
  • Processing time: within 48 hours once the account is fully verified, plus the bank’s own time
  • Fees: $5 fee if you withdraw without having wagered at least $10

TonyBet takes deposits by Interac, Visa, Mastercard and MuchBetter, and its terms set $20 as the minimum deposit to activate a payment method. All four also pay out, and withdrawals return to the method you deposited with, method by method, so an account funded two ways is paid back the same two ways. The deposit has to come from a card, bank account or wallet in your own name; a payment from someone else’s account is sent back, and TonyBet may deduct the transfer fee.

The way out starts lower than the way in: the minimum withdrawal is $10, so a $20 deposit can come back in full. The condition is play-through. Withdraw without having wagered at least $10 and a $5 fee applies, which turns an untouched $20 into $15. Withdrawals are processed within 48 hours once the account is fully verified, plus the bank’s own time, so uploading ID early keeps the first payout moving. The caps are $4,000 a day, $15,000 a week and $50,000 a month, set in the terms without reference to a payment method.

TonyBet is registered with the AGCO under Ligtip Limited, the operator on the iGaming Ontario register, with casino and sportsbook in one account. Its Ontario lobby counts 3,255 games from 42 studios, including 393 live tables, 278 of them blackjack. The Ontario app rates 2.5 from 103 ratings on iPhone and 3.2 from 184 on Google Play.

BET99: $20 on every method, no cashier fees

  • Minimum deposit: $20, whatever the method
  • Minimum withdrawal: paid to a method already used to deposit
  • Processing time: typically processed within up to 24 hours, then up to 3–5 business days to reach your bank depending on the method
  • Fees: no fees on deposits or withdrawals

BET99 sets a $20 minimum deposit whatever the method, across Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Trustly online banking, PayPal, MuchBetter and instant bank transfer. There is no cheaper route in: the floor does not move from one method to the next. Withdrawals go to a method you have already used to deposit, so the way in decides the way out, and it pays to deposit with the method you want to withdraw to.

BET99 charges no fees on deposits or withdrawals, so a $20 deposit costs nothing at the cashier in either direction. Withdrawals are typically processed within up to 24 hours, then take up to 3–5 business days to reach your bank depending on the method; the help centre asks you to contact support if a withdrawal has taken more than 24 hours. A request can be cancelled through support, depending on its status, which leaves a way back if you change your mind before it is processed.

BET99 is run in Ontario by 1000007698 Ontario Ltd., the Ontario corporation named on the iGaming Ontario register, with sportsbook and casino in one account. The lobby counts 3,172 games and 646 live tables, 41 of the titles carry the BET99 name, and the iPhone app rates 4.1 from 1,075 ratings, against 3.3 from 424 on Android.

Pinnacle: $20 falls between its $15 and $25 floors

  • Minimum deposit: $15 (MuchBetter); $25 by Interac or card
  • Minimum withdrawal: $10 (MuchBetter); $20 by card; $25 by Interac
  • Processing time: Interac within one business day to your bank; MuchBetter minutes to 1 hour; card within minutes, up to 5 banking days to appear on the card
  • Fees: deposits free; one free withdrawal per calendar month, then $5 each on any method; 5% processing fee on deposits not played through once

Pinnacle has no single entry point: MuchBetter takes deposits from $15, while Interac e-Transfer, Visa and Mastercard start at $25. A $20 budget therefore fits MuchBetter, or has to reach $25 for the other three. Deposits are free on all of them and every method pays back, but money returns to the method you deposited with, and MuchBetter withdrawals are possible only if you deposited with MuchBetter.

Withdrawal floors are $10 by MuchBetter, $20 by card and $25 by Interac, so a $20 MuchBetter deposit can come back, but it should be played through first: Pinnacle can charge a 5% processing fee on deposits not played through once, or refuse the withdrawal. One withdrawal per calendar month is free, then $5 each on any method; on a $20 balance, that is a quarter of it. MuchBetter is the quickest route, at minutes to 1 hour; Interac reaches your bank within one business day, and card withdrawals go within minutes but can take up to 5 banking days to appear on the card, at up to $2,500 a transaction.

Pinnacle Ontario Interac e-Transfer payment page: free deposits from $25, withdrawals from $25 with a $5 fee, $10,000 and $25,000 transaction maximums
Pinnacle’s Ontario Interac e-Transfer page: deposits free from $25, withdrawals from $25 with a $5 fee.

Pinnacle is licensed through Pinny (Ontario) Limited, the operator on the iGaming Ontario register, with sportsbook and casino on one wallet. RTP is published on all 1,416 casino games in a lobby of 1,464 that includes 48 live tables, and support runs by live chat and email 24/7.

NorthStar Bets: eight ways to pay in, four to cash out

  • Minimum deposit: $20
  • Minimum withdrawal: $20
  • Processing time: approval usually takes a few hours and can take up to 24 hours; additional safety checks can take up to 72 hours; arrival then depends on the method
  • Fees: none; the operator will “never charge you any extra or hidden fees” for deposits or withdrawals

NorthStar Bets states it in a support article: “The minimum deposit on the site is $20.00”. Eight methods take that deposit: Interac, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Instadebit/iDebit. Four of them pay out, namely Interac, Visa, PayPal and Instadebit/iDebit, and a method needs a deposit before it can receive a withdrawal, so money paid in by Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay or Google Pay has to leave by one of those four.

The minimum withdrawal is $20 too, so a $20 deposit can come back in full. Approval usually takes a few hours and can take up to 24 hours, additional safety checks can take up to 72 hours, and arrival then depends on the method; NorthStar calls Interac “often the quickest method” without putting a time on it. There is no maximum on the operator’s side, though withdrawals above $10,000 could require further processing time. On cost, the help centre rules out any extra or hidden fees, on deposits and withdrawals alike.

NorthStar Bets is run by NorthStar Gaming (Ontario) Inc., the operator on the iGaming Ontario register, and prints its AGCO registration, OPIG1226485, in the footer. Support includes a phone line, +1 (855) 218-7827, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, beside a lobby of 1,407 games from 26 studios and 115 Playtech Live tables.

Titan Play: two payouts per 7 days, one pending at a time

  • Minimum deposit: CAD 20
  • Minimum withdrawal: CAD 20
  • Processing time: internal processing of up to 3 business days; closed loop back to the deposit method
  • Fees: no deposit fees from Titan Play; bank or provider fees may apply

Titan Play takes deposits from CAD 20 by Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill and bank transfer, all in Canadian dollars, and all five also pay out. A closed loop sends withdrawals back to the deposit method; asking for a different bank account brings a request for a statement from the last six months in your name, which can slow the payout. Interac runs through Wyzia and needs Autodeposit switched on in your online banking, and bank transfer is the one method whose deposits do not credit at once.

The minimum withdrawal is CAD 20 as well, but each deposit must be wagered once before it can be withdrawn, so a CAD 20 deposit cannot come straight back untouched. Internal processing takes up to 3 business days. The limits are tight: two withdrawals per 7 days, one pending at a time, CAD 5,000 per 24 hours and CAD 25,000 per 30 days, unless higher limits are agreed in writing. A pending request can be cancelled from the Transactions page and submitted again. Titan Play charges no deposit fees, though bank or provider fees may apply.

Titan Play is operated by Shark77 Limited, which holds AGCO registration OPIG1299224 and runs only this site on the iGaming Ontario register. Its lobby counts 2,669 games from 43 studios, 416 of them live, with RTP shown on 706 titles; the iPhone app rates 1.6 from 14 ratings, and there is no Titan Play app on Google Play in Canada.

High Flyer Casino: two timetables for the same payout

  • Minimum deposit: $20
  • Minimum withdrawal: $20
  • Processing time: “Usually within 24 hours”; Interac with AutoDeposit instant to 3 hours (withdrawal rules page) or 3–24 hours (help centre)
  • Fees: the payment rules list limits, not charges: up to $10,000 each, maximum of two withdrawals per day

High Flyer Casino sets a $20 minimum deposit and takes it by Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, iDebit, Instadebit, Paysafecard and eCheck. Interac, cards, Skrill, iDebit, Instadebit and eCheck all pay out. Withdrawals go to the deposit method used most in the last 30 days, otherwise to an alternative such as e-cashout or Instadebit, so the method you rely on most decides where the money lands.

The minimum withdrawal is also $20, so a $20 deposit is enough to cash out, with a maximum of two withdrawals per day at up to $10,000 each. A pending withdrawal may be reversed while not yet processed. Processing is “usually within 24 hours”, and the operator then gives two timetables. Its withdrawal rules page puts Interac with AutoDeposit at instant to 3 hours, e-wallets at 3 hours, cards at the next business day and eCheck at 5 business days; its help centre gives 3–24 hours for Interac and e-wallets, 1–3 business days for cards and 3–5 business days for eCheck. Turning on Interac AutoDeposit is what the quickest figure assumes.

High Flyer Casino is operated by Ellipse Entertainment Limited, the company on the iGaming Ontario register, and registered with the AGCO. Its Ontario menu holds about 2,500 games, almost all slots, and support includes a toll-free line, 1-844-842-8374, from 1 pm to 11 pm Eastern, with live chat 24/7.

Is a $20 deposit safe at these casinos?

Yes, as far as registration goes: all seven are on the iGaming Ontario register and regulated by the AGCO, like every casino we review. What decides how safe your $20 is in practice is the payment you use and how you handle the first withdrawal.

What registration means for a $20 player

A registered operator has to confirm your identity and age before it pays out, check that you are physically in Ontario when you play, and offer deposit, loss and time limits. Each of the seven appears on the register under its operating company: Golden Nebula Limited for Casino Days, Ligtip Limited for TonyBet, 1000007698 Ontario Ltd. for BET99, Pinny (Ontario) Limited for Pinnacle, NorthStar Gaming (Ontario) Inc. for NorthStar Bets, Shark77 Limited for Titan Play and Ellipse Entertainment Limited for High Flyer.

Payments in your own name

The safest $20 deposit comes from an account in your own name, by a method that can also receive the withdrawal. TonyBet sends back a payment made from someone else’s account and may deduct the transfer fee. Titan Play asks for a bank statement from the last six months if you want a payout to a different bank account, which slows the withdrawal.

Changing your mind after a withdrawal request

Four of the seven let a pending withdrawal be cancelled: Casino Days from Pending Transactions in the cashier, BET99 through support depending on its status, Titan Play from the Transactions page and High Flyer while it is not yet processed. If you are withdrawing to stop playing, leave the request alone and let it go through.

Depositing and withdrawing $20, step by step

Making the $20 deposit

  1. Open the account from inside Ontario. Every registered site checks your location, and you must be 19 or older.
  2. Pick a method that can also pay out. Interac works both ways at Casino Days, TonyBet, NorthStar Bets, Titan Play and High Flyer; at Pinnacle, $20 works only by MuchBetter.
  3. Enter $20, or CAD 20 at Titan Play, and approve the payment in your bank or wallet.
  4. Set a deposit limit in the account menu before the first bet. It takes effect immediately.

Taking the $20 back out

  1. Upload your ID first, so the first payout is not held for documents.
  2. Request the withdrawal to the method you deposited with. Casino Days pays out only by Interac e-Transfer.
  3. Check the floor: $20 at Casino Days, NorthStar Bets, Titan Play and High Flyer, $10 at TonyBet, $10 by MuchBetter at Pinnacle.
  4. Allow for processing: usually within 24 hours at High Flyer, up to 24 hours plus the bank’s time at BET99, 48 hours once verified at TonyBet, and up to 3 business days at Titan Play.

When the way out differs from the way in

A method that takes your $20 does not always pay it back. Casino Days pays out only by Interac e-Transfer, so a card, MuchBetter or Paysafecard deposit comes back through Interac. NorthStar Bets pays back to four of its eight deposit methods, and Pinnacle pays MuchBetter withdrawals only to players who deposited with MuchBetter. High Flyer sends the money to the method you used most in the last 30 days.

On a $20 balance the caps never bite; the fees and conditions do. Pinnacle’s $5 after the month’s free withdrawal is a quarter of $20, and TonyBet’s $5 applies whenever less than $10 has been wagered. Titan Play’s rule is a condition rather than a fee: the deposit has to be played once.

A balance below the floor

Where the minimum withdrawal equals the minimum deposit, the first losing bet leaves the balance under the floor, and it cannot be withdrawn until it is back at $20. Betting $1 a spin on red at European roulette, these are the chances of climbing back to $20 before the balance runs out:

BalanceChance of getting back to $20Chance of losing the rest first

$1037%63%
$516%84%

Small losses are usually recovered, which is the trap: the chase back to $20 feels likely, and every step of it carries the same house edge. If keeping the option to withdraw matters, decide before the first bet, not after a loss.

BET99 has the deepest live floor of the seven, at 646 tables, and NorthStar Bets and High Flyer are the two with a phone line. On a $20 budget the live minimum matters more than the catalogue: at tables from $1 to $5 a hand, $20 is four to twenty hands. Our live casino guide compares table limits across Ontario.

Pros and cons of a $20 minimum

What a $20 floor does well

  • $20 clears the published deposit minimum at every licensed casino that publishes one.
  • At six of the seven, the withdrawal floor is $20 or lower, so the deposit meets it as it stands.
  • Casino Days, BET99 and NorthStar Bets charge no cashier fees of their own.
  • Two of the seven, NorthStar Bets and High Flyer, run a phone line.
  • It buys a real session: four to twenty hands at live tables with $1 to $5 minimums.

Where it falls short

  • It doubles the outlay of the 41 casinos that start at $10, for the same first look.
  • TonyBet, Pinnacle and Titan Play attach a cost or a condition to a deposit that has not been played.
  • Titan Play limits you to two withdrawals per 7 days, and High Flyer to two a day.

In short, $20 is the comfortable entry point if one of these seven is the casino you want; if not, a $10 casino with a $10 withdrawal floor costs half as much for the same round trip.

Lower-entry alternatives to the $20 casinos

If $20 is more than you want to put in, three steps down are worth knowing:

  • $10: 41 licensed casinos start there, and at 18 of them an unplayed $10 can be withdrawn as it is, Sports Interaction among them.
  • $5: Betano, Caesars Palace Online, Horseshoe, Hard Rock Bet, PointsBet and PartyCasino start at $5.
  • $1: Betty and Lucky Days take any amount from $1, and Betty also pays out from $1.

For a route-by-route view, our guides to Interac casinos, Visa casinos and MuchBetter casinos list the minimum each casino sets for that method.

Setting limits before the first $20

A $20 minimum is a minimum, not a budget. Every licensed Ontario casino must offer deposit, loss and time limits; lowering one takes effect at once, and raising it comes with a wait. Titan Play’s responsible gaming page sets out deposit, turnover and loss limits by calendar period.

Questions about $20 deposit casinos

Which casinos in Ontario have a $20 minimum deposit?

Six licensed casinos start at $20: Casino Days, TonyBet, BET99, NorthStar Bets, Titan Play and High Flyer Casino. Pinnacle sits between, at $15 by MuchBetter and $25 by Interac or card. Most other licensed Ontario casinos start at $10.

Can I withdraw a $20 deposit without playing it?

At most of them the floor allows it: Casino Days, NorthStar Bets and High Flyer pay out from $20, TonyBet from $10 with a $5 fee if under $10 was wagered. Titan Play requires each deposit to be wagered once, and BET99 pays back to a deposit method.

Is Casino Days a $10 or a $20 casino in Ontario?

Both figures are published. Its Ontario help centre sets $20 on every deposit method, while the cashier shown in its App Store screenshots starts at $10 by Interac and MuchBetter. Plan on $20; withdrawals also start at $20 and go by Interac e-Transfer.

Will I pay a fee or tax on a $20 casino withdrawal?

Tax, generally not: recreational casino winnings are not taxable income in Canada. Most of these casinos charge no fees of their own, but TonyBet takes $5 if less than $10 was wagered, and Pinnacle allows one free withdrawal a month, then $5 each.

Which $20 casino pays out fastest?

On published figures, Casino Days: its app listing says most withdrawals are processed within 5 minutes and arrive in under 30 minutes once approved, though its help centre aims for 48 hours. High Flyer quotes Interac with AutoDeposit at instant to 3 hours.

Where the $20 figures come from

Each minimum on this page comes from the operator’s own pages, as recorded in our review of the casino:

  • Casino Days: its Ontario help centre, and the cashier shown in its App Store screenshots.
  • TonyBet and Titan Play: their Ontario terms and conditions.
  • BET99 and High Flyer: their help centres and published payment rules.
  • NorthStar Bets: its support article on the minimum deposit.
  • Pinnacle: its Ontario payment page for each method.

Where an operator publishes two figures, as Casino Days does on its minimum and High Flyer on its payout times, both are given. The roulette probabilities are our own calculation, and scores follow the method set out in how we review casinos.
