How to Log In to Sports Interaction in Ontario

Sports Interaction keeps its casino and sportsbook behind a single log-in, so the same details open both. The steps take a minute, and on a computer the first time includes a small location program.

1. Go to on.sportsinteraction.com, the Ontario site, or open the Sports Interaction Sportsbook app.
2. Choose Log In in the upper right corner.
3. Enter your User ID and password.
4. In a web browser, run the GeoComply plug-in when prompted; on a phone, allow location services.
5. Once you are placed in Ontario, the casino and the sportsbook are both open.

One User ID, Two Products

There is no separate casino account and no wallet to move money between: one balance covers slots, live tables and bets. The User ID is fixed for good. Sports Interaction says it cannot be changed after registration, so the one you chose is the one you keep.

A Screen Name Is Not Your User ID

Registration also asks for a screen name, the identity other players see in games. It can differ from your account name and is not what you type to log in.

Sports Interaction: Lost Password or User ID

Both recovery links sit in the log-in window, and both rely on the email address registered to the account.

Resetting a Sports Interaction Password

Choose Log In, then I forgot my Password. Submit the personal details asked for, and Sports Interaction emails you a link for setting a new password. If the email does not show up, look in the spam or junk folder, where some providers file it.

Recovering the User ID

Choose I forgot my User ID in the same window and fill in the requested details. If that does not work, contact customer service.

The Personal Question

When you register, you set a personal question and answer. Sports Interaction asks it whenever you forget your log-in details and whenever you request a payout, so a stranger with your password still cannot withdraw. Choose an answer you will remember exactly.

Lost Access to Your Email

If you can still log in, change the email under My Account Details. If you cannot reach the old inbox, email verifications@on.sportsinteraction.com asking for the change, with your full name, date of birth, the registered address you no longer use, and an image of your ID, passport or driving licence.

How GeoComply Places You in Ontario

Sports Interaction places you in Ontario by Wi-Fi signal triangulation and your IP address. On a computer that job falls to the GeoComply plug-in: without it, the browser site will not let you sign in, fund the account or play. On a Mac, you may need to open Player Location Check in your settings and run it a few times before logging in.

Wi-Fi Has to Be On

Wi-Fi must be switched on, on a computer and on a phone, though it need not be connected to anything, and a computer should see at least two other networks. A desktop without Wi-Fi cannot open any game, so an older PC needs a Wi-Fi USB adapter. On a phone, location services must also be on. Using your phone as a hotspot for a laptop is not recommended: a weak, patchy link makes the check fail.

When Your IP Address Points Elsewhere

An IP address registered to a neighbouring province will fail the check even when you are in Toronto. If yours changes on its own, a few seconds with the router switched off usually gives you a new one; a fixed address is something only your provider can move. Providers that route traffic through another region cause the same problem, and another connection gets round it. New routers take a few days to be recognised, and close to the border the check repeats more often.

Programs That Block the Check

VPNs such as Witopia, OpenVPN or HMA, and remote-access tools such as LogMeIn, GoToMyPC, TeamViewer, TigerVNC, Splashtop, GoToMeeting or Apple’s VNC and Remote Management, must not be running. On a PC, close them in Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete); on a Mac, use Activity Monitor, and check they have disappeared from the list.

When You Are Outside Ontario

Away from Ontario the account still works for money, not for play: you can sign in, add funds and cash out what is available, but every game and bet is locked. Crossing the border during a session closes your games on the spot. A casino round in progress is kept and reopens once you are back in the province.

The Sports Interaction App

On iPhone, the app is Sports Interaction Sportsbook, published by Avid Ecom Solutions Limited, with casino games inside it, and it needs iOS 18.0 or later. The same listing now serves Alberta as well, with an 18+ age there against 19+ here, so sign in with the account you opened in Ontario. Keeping Your Sports Interaction Account Secure

• Pick a personal answer nobody could guess from your social media, since it guards both recovery and payouts.
• Keep your registered email current; the reset link goes nowhere else.
• Use a password unique to Sports Interaction, and never share your User ID or password.
• Open one casino game at a time; a second game can trigger an error, and clearing the cache and cookies fixes most stuck sessions.

New to Sports Interaction? Registering

1. Open on.sportsinteraction.com from inside Ontario and choose to register.
2. Enter your name, date of birth and address as printed on your ID; Ontario rules make Sports Interaction check your identity and age against them.
3. Choose your User ID with care, since it cannot be changed, and set your personal question and answer.
4. Set deposit and time limits before your first deposit.

You must be 19 or older and in Ontario to play, and the minimum deposit is C$10.
