PlayOJO App Ontario: Downloads, Ratings and Listing Slips

The PlayOJO App at a Glance

In both Canadian stores, PlayOJO’s Ontario app carries the same name, PlayOJO Canada: Online Casino, and the same developer, Skill On Net Ltd. The help centre on playojo.ca links straight to those two listings, and the app is a lighter download than most, at 25.4 MB on iPhone.

The Listing in Each Store

One App for Ontario and Alberta

Both listings cover two provinces, setting the age floor at 19 for Ontario and 18 for Alberta, where PlayOJO runs a separate site. The Android package, com.playojo.www, is also the one Google Play shows in Britain, where its listing gives a 2018 release date against 2022 in the Canadian store. Sign in with the account you opened at playojo.ca.

What the Store Listings Get Wrong

The store copy has not kept up with the Ontario product. In both stores, the Ontario notice at the bottom names SlotsMagic, PlayOJO’s sister brand, as the casino operating under the iGaming Ontario agreement. The payout line promises Interac, Jeton and Apple Pay, yet Jeton is not among the six methods the Ontario banking page lists. And the Google Play summary mentions poker and bingo, while Ontario players get no bingo rooms, only a shelf of single-player video bingo games. None of this changes what the app does, but it explains why searches turn up conflicting answers.

Installing PlayOJO on Android

Android users should get it from Google Play: searching “playojo”, “play ojo” or “ojo casino” in the Canadian store returns the official app and no imitations.

Getting the App

1. Search Google Play for playojo and open PlayOJO Canada: Online Casino.
2. Confirm the developer line reads Skill On Net Ltd, with 1M+ downloads and an 18+ content rating.
3. Install it and sign in with your PlayOJO details, username or email plus password, or join.
4. Grant the location permission the app asks for.

Location Settings on Android

The help centre’s route is Settings > Apps > PlayOJO > Permissions, with location allowed, and Location itself switched on under Settings > Location > Use location. If a proxy is blocking the check (error 3005), long-press your Wi-Fi network under Settings > Network & Internet, open the advanced options and set Proxy to None. Rooted phones are refused, as are devices with location-tampering tools (error 3004).

Pages Google Shows That Are Not Ontario’s

Searches for “playojo app” also return PlayOJO’s Irish Android page and an Aptoide page hosting the installation file. Neither is the Ontario route. The top result, playojo.com/ca/mobile, simply forwards to the playojo.ca home page when opened from Toronto.

Installing PlayOJO on iPhone

On iPhone, the App Store has one PlayOJO app for Canada, and it installs on iOS 15.0 or later.

Downloading from the App Store

1. Search the App Store for PlayOJO.
2. Tap Get on PlayOJO Canada: Online Casino by Skill On Net Ltd.
3. Open it, log in, and allow location access when asked.

Location, Proxy and Clock Settings

Location Services must be on under Settings > Privacy > Location Services, with access granted to the PlayOJO app further down that list. A proxy on your Wi-Fi network blocks the check: turn it off under Settings > Wi-Fi, tap the network, and set HTTP Proxy to Off. The phone’s clock also has to match your time zone (error 3006), and jailbroken iPhones are not accepted.

Keep the App Updated

PlayOJO’s help centre recommends the latest version for reliable geolocation, even though an older build may still work. Version 7.8 for iPhone came out on 30 October 2026, and the listing is translated into 12 languages.

Games in the PlayOJO App

Inside, the lobby matches playojo.ca. At our latest count it held 6,216 games from 82 studios, with 4,957 slots and a live shelf of 587 titles, 487 of them with a live dealer.

RTP on the Game Tiles

PlayOJO shows the lowest and highest RTP for almost every title, which is rare in Ontario; on the crash shelf the published range runs from 90.37% to 99.00%. The slot list includes 190 Megaways titles, and the App Store copy names Wolf Gold, Big Bass Bonanza, Book of Dead and Chilli Heat among the favourites.

Live Tables and Game Shows

Evolution supplies the most live games, with 319 entries on the shelf, and Playtech runs a second room. Its Studio 21 blackjack tables publish returns between 98.00% and 99.46%, and Mega Fire Blaze tables add a progressive pot to a dealt game. Crazy Time leads the game shows in the store screenshots.

Crash Games and Video Bingo

There is a shelf of 31 crash games, a category many Ontario casinos skip. Bingo is the exception to PlayOJO’s range elsewhere: in Ontario there are no bingo rooms, just a shelf of around 20 video bingo titles played alone, Thunderstruck II Video Bingo among them.

Finding and Saving Games

Advanced Search has more than 30 filters, from reel count to theme. On a phone, tap the heart next to a game’s title in its description to add it to your OJO Playlist; tap it again to remove it. Every round is logged under My Account > Play History > Game Activity, along with the game and session IDs support asks for.

PlayOJO Payments on Mobile

The app’s cashier lists six methods, each with a $10 minimum deposit and no minimum withdrawal, and PlayOJO says it charges nothing for payments.

Same Way Out as In

Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, so if Wire Transfer is the only choice on the withdrawal page, that is because you have not paid in any other way. Prepaid cards are the usual exception, and PlayOJO then pays to another method or contacts you. No Quick Deposit on Phones

Quick Deposit, which tops up a saved card from the game screen with just the CVC, is a desktop feature, shown in the left-hand sidebar of a game. In the app, deposits go through the cashier in My Account.

How Fast Money Comes Out

The processing target is 11 hours per withdrawal, stretched only when the payments team reviews a request. The first withdrawal can trigger a document check, which usually takes under 12 hours; after 48 hours without news, the help centre says to contact support.

Limits, Safety and Support

Play controls and account tools sit in the side menu under My Account > Settings.

Deposit, Loss and Time Limits

Deposit limits can be set per day, week or month under My Account > Settings > Deposit Limits; a cut applies at once and an increase after 24 hours. Loss and time limits are set from the same Settings section.
