Jackpot City Ontario Casino Review
Jackpot City is a casino and nothing else. Its operator, Cadtree Limited, holds Ontario licence OPIG1236392 and runs no sportsbook in the province. The Ontario site is a genuinely different casino from the international one that shares its name: no Mega Moolah, but a ring-fenced provincial jackpot network, a licensed Toronto Maple Leafs slot, and a live floor supplied by just two studios.

Is Jackpot City Legal in Ontario?
Yes. Jackpot City is registered to operate in Ontario. The operating company is Cadtree Limited, listed in the iGaming Ontario register and holding Ontario licence OPIG1236392, issued on 23 June 2022 — inside the first three months of the regulated market.
That matters for a practical reason. On a registered site your account, your funds and any dispute fall under the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. On a grey-market site they do not.
You must be 19 or older and physically inside Ontario to play. And there is a trap specific to this brand: the Ontario casino is not the same site as the international one. Same logo, different company, different games, different regulator.
How to Check You Are on the Jackpot City Ontario Site
Four things identify the Ontario-registered Jackpot City, and all four are visible before you create an account.
| What to check | What you should see |
|---|---|
| Address | jackpotcity.ca/ontario/ — the bare .ca opens a province selector first |
| Registered operator | Cadtree Limited, licence OPIG1236392, named in the iGO register |
| Regulator named on site | iGaming Ontario and the AGCO, not a Malta or Kahnawake licence |
| Age mark | The Ontario 19+ seal, not the 18+ used on the international site |
If any one of those is missing you are on the international site, which is a different casino with a different catalogue. That distinction runs through this whole review: most of what is written online about “Jackpot City” describes the international product, and much of it is wrong for Ontario.
The operator does not make this easier. Every “Help Centre” link on the Ontario pages goes to help.jackpotcity.ca, and that help centre belongs to the other site: its footer names Baytree Interactive Ltd, a Guernsey company licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, carries an 18+ mark, and links its responsible-gaming page to the international jackpotcitycasino.com. In other words, the check in the table above fails on the operator’s own help pages. Use them for how-to questions; for anything about your Ontario account, your limits or a complaint, go by the Ontario terms and the contacts given below.

The help centre the Ontario site links to, read from an Ontario connection: Baytree, Kahnawake and 18+, none of which apply to an Ontario account.

One Operator, Four Ontario Casinos
Worth knowing before you sign up somewhere else in search of variety: Cadtree Limited runs four registered casinos in Ontario, not one.

Jackpot City, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino are all listed under the same operator in the provincial register. They share an operator, a licence holder and largely the same game suppliers. Moving between them changes the skin, not the company holding your money.
Two other details in that register entry tell you what kind of site this is. Every one of the four is filed under Casino only — Cadtree runs no sportsbook in Ontario, unlike bet365, BetMGM or Betway. And the register itself lists 49 operators running 84 gaming sites in the province, which is the real size of the shortlist any Ontario player is choosing from.
Jackpot City Ontario Casino Games
This is where the Ontario site and the international one part company hardest, and where most reviews of this brand get it wrong. Everything below was read from Jackpot City’s own Ontario pages.

| Category | What is in the Ontario lobby |
|---|---|
| Slots | The operator’s own slots page says more than 400 titles |
| Progressives | Maple Moolah, Lotsaloot and King Millions — not Mega Moolah |
| Local exclusive | Toronto Maple Leafs® Rising Rewards, a licensed NHL slot |
| Roulette | 10 software wheels plus a live floor; European, French and American all present |
| Blackjack | 17 software variants, eight of them from Switch Studios |
| Live dealer | Around 22 named tables from two suppliers only |
| Providers | Apricot (Games Global), On Air Entertainment, Pragmatic Play |
A contradiction the operator has not resolved: the Ontario homepage advertises “over 1000 games”, while the Ontario slots page says slots — always the largest category in any lobby — number “more than 400”. Both are the operator’s own words, on the same site, on the same day. Given roughly 22 live tables and about 30 software table games, the second figure is the one that holds together. Treat 1,000 as marketing inherited from the international product.
Second caveat: Jackpot City publishes no RTP for any game on its Ontario pages. Only the definition of the term. Where we give a percentage below it is the studio’s published figure for the base game, and as the jackpot section explains, that is not the same as the version in this lobby.
Slots

This is a Games Global house, and the catalogue reads like one. The anchors are the studio’s long-running names: Immortal Romance (96.86% RTP in its base form), 9 Masks of Fire (96.24%), Assassin Moon (96.08%), Ancient Fortunes: Zeus, Masters of Valhalla, Dragon Shard, Amazing Link Zeus and Amazing Link Apollo. We counted the whole provincial slot catalogue, studio by studio, in our guide to online slots in Ontario.
The newer shelf is where the lobby actually moves: Zeus Royale, Pirate Bonanza, The Wildwood Curse, Legendary Lawman Cash ‘Em All, Blazing Bison Gold Blitz Ultimate, Piñata Rush Express, 3 Lucky Hippos 2, Pots O Loot and Fire and Roses Joker.
What is not here matters as much. There is no NetEnt, no Play’n GO, no Big Time Gaming and no Nolimit City in the Ontario lobby. If you came for a specific third-party title, check before you register rather than after.
Where to start: Immortal Romance in its plain form, at 96.86%, is the highest published return among the lobby’s headline names — and notably higher than the jackpot version of the same game.
Progressive Jackpots: Maple Moolah, Lotsaloot and King Millions

Read this section before you trust anything else written about this casino. Mega Moolah and WowPot do not exist in the Ontario lobby. Not as a footnote — the words do not appear anywhere on Jackpot City’s Ontario site. They belong to the international product. Ontario has three networks of its own.
Maple Moolah is the big one: a ring-fenced Ontario network built by Games Global when the province opened, funded only by Ontario players and seeded at C$1,000,000 on its top tier. Six games feed it here — King of Alexandria, Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II, Absolootly Mad, Atlantean Treasures and Break Da Bank Again, each in a Maple Moolah edition.
Lotsaloot is the one the operator actually publishes numbers for, and they are worth having.
| Lotsaloot tier | Starts at | Ceiling |
|---|---|---|
| Lucky | C$25 | C$250 |
| Luxury | C$500 | C$1,000 |
| Legendary | C$10,000 | No upper limit |
Lotsaloot runs on Thunderstruck Wild Lightning, Fishin’ Pots of Gold, Cash ‘N Riches Megaways, Blazing Bison Gold Blitz, Devilish Fortunes and Rising Rewards. A third network, King Millions, sits on 9 Pots of Gold and Rising Rewards, with no published tiers.
The trade-off nobody advertises: the jackpot layer is paid for out of the base game’s return. Immortal Romance is published at 96.86%; the Maple Moolah edition of the same slot is published at 93.42%. Thunderstruck II goes from 96.65% to 92.01%. King of Alexandria Maple Moolah is published at 86.78%. Same names, same art, materially different maths.
One more thing, and it is the honest note this brand’s name invites. The largest online casino jackpot reported in Ontario since the market opened — C$2,162,686, won on 5 January 2026 from a C$0.50 stake on King of Alexandria Maple Moolah — was paid by a different casino on the same network. Maple Moolah is shared. We found no documented Maple Moolah win at Jackpot City itself.
Toronto Maple Leafs Rising Rewards

Toronto Maple Leafs® Rising Rewards is the one game in this lobby that exists nowhere else, and the reason is a licence rather than a mechanic. Jackpot City has been the official online casino partner of the Maple Leafs, the Raptors and the Toronto Rock since October 2022 — the logo on the ice at Scotiabank Arena is the same brand as the one on this slot.
Underneath the Leafs skin sits the Rising Rewards engine from Triple Edge Studios, a Games Global house: 720 ways to win on a 3-4-5-4-3 grid, very high volatility, five rising fixed jackpots and multipliers. The base engine is published at 96.01%; the operator publishes no figure for the Leafs edition specifically.
Where to start: here, if the licence is the reason you came. Very high volatility means long dry runs between hits, so it is a small-stake game rather than a session-length one. The plain Rising Rewards and its Lotsaloot and King Millions editions are the same engine without the hockey.
Roulette

Ten software wheels and a live floor on top. The distinction that decides what the game costs you is the wheel, and to its credit Jackpot City spells it out on its own page: European and French roulette have 37 numbers, American has 38. We counted the provincial roulette shelf by wheel type in our guide to online roulette in Ontario.
Put a figure on that and it is stark. European roulette carries a house edge of 2.70%. American, with its double zero, carries 5.26% — the same bet, nearly twice the cost. French is better still on even-money bets.
Around those sit Vinnie Jones Roulette, Switch Multifire Roulette, Dealers Club Roulette, Mini Roulette Gold and 9 Pots of Gold Roulette. On the live floor, Mega Roulette from Pragmatic Play carries multipliers up to 500x, alongside Speed Roulette, Auto Roulette, Live Clubhouse Roulette and the Real Roulette tables hosted by named dealers.
Where to start: European or French. And note what is absent — there is no Lightning Roulette here, because that is an Evolution game and Evolution does not supply this casino.
Blackjack and Table Games

Blackjack is the strongest software category here: 17 variants, covering Classic, European, Atlantic City, Vegas Strip, Vegas Downtown, multihand versions of each, Premier Blackjack with Side Bets, Perfect Strategy Blackjack and High Streak Blackjack. Eight of the seventeen come from Switch Studios, the table specialist inside Games Global. We counted every blackjack table in a licensed Ontario catalogue in our guide to online blackjack in Ontario.
The operator publishes one useful number on that page, and it is the right one: “if you apply flawless basic blackjack strategy, the house edge is usually around 1%”. That is honest, and it is lower than anything on the slots shelf. For which baccarat bet actually pays, see our guide to online baccarat in Ontario.
Baccarat covers Real Baccarat with named dealers, Switch No Commission Baccarat, Speed Baccarat, Dragon Tiger, Blazing Dragon Tiger and Card Match Up.
Be aware of the gaps. We found no casino poker at all in the Ontario lobby — no Casino Hold’em, no Three Card Poker, no Ultimate Texas Hold’em. Sic bo, craps, casino war and red dog appear only inside a terms clause, with not one playable title named. If those matter to you, this is the wrong casino.
Where to start: classic blackjack with basic strategy. Under 1% house edge, and unlike a slot your decisions change the maths.
Live Dealer Casino

The live floor is the clearest structural difference between this casino and the rest of the province, and the operator states it plainly: the tables come from two suppliers only — On Air Entertainment, a Games Global affiliate, and Pragmatic Play.
That gives you around 22 named tables. Blackjack runs to Eclipse Blackjack, ONE Blackjack, Live Private Blackjack, On Air Blackjack, Live Blackjack 12 and Speed Blackjack, plus a table the operator markets as Live Exclusive Blackjack. Roulette adds Mega Roulette, Speed Roulette, On Air Roulette and Live Clubhouse Roulette. Baccarat covers Baccarat 1, Speed Baccarat, Dragon Tiger and Blazing Dragon Tiger.
What two suppliers costs you: no Evolution means no Crazy Time, no Monopoly Live, no Lightning Roulette and no Dream Catcher — four of the most played live titles in the province, all absent here. If the live floor is your reason for choosing a casino, bet365 carries roughly six times the tables. If you play slots and drop into a live table occasionally, twenty-two is enough.
Game Shows

This is the thinnest category on the site, and it follows directly from the supplier list. Two game shows are confirmed on the Ontario pages: Mega Wheel and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, both from Pragmatic Play. Mega Wheel gets the largest promotional block on the games page, which tells you it is the one the operator expects you to play.
Everything else the format is famous for — Crazy Time, Monopoly Live, Funky Time, Mega Ball, Deal or No Deal — is Evolution, and Evolution is not here.
Worth knowing before you play: the headline multipliers are the ceiling, not the expectation, and the house edge on the bonus segments is higher than on the base wheel.
Software Providers
Four names, and the operator lists them itself: Apricot (the licensing entity for Games Global, whose studios include Gameburger, Triple Edge, Switch and Stormcraft), On Air Entertainment for live, Pragmatic Play for live and game shows, and Playtech, named once for software slots and table games without a single title attached to it.
That is a short list by Ontario standards, and it is the single fact that explains most of this review: a narrow live floor, a thin game show shelf, no Lightning Roulette, no casino poker — all of it follows from a supply chain built almost entirely inside one group.
What you get in return is coherence. Games Global content is certified for the Ontario market, tested by an independent lab and overseen by the AGCO, and the jackpot networks are provincial rather than shared with players in other countries.
The Jackpot City App: iOS vs Android
Jackpot City has the second most-rated casino app in Canada, which is a genuine achievement for a casino-only brand competing with sportsbook groups. But the two stores tell noticeably different stories.

The App Store listing in October 2026: 4.5 from about 25,000 ratings, fourth in the Casino chart, published by Cadtree Limited — the Ontario operator itself.
| Casino app (Ontario) | App Store CA | Google Play CA |
|---|---|---|
| BetMGM Casino | 4.58 — 40,491 ratings | 4.35 — 11,393 |
| Jackpot City | 4.49 — 24,926 ratings | 4.25 — 1,929 |
| Betway Casino | 4.67 — 16,425 | 4.45 — 16,249 |
| DraftKings Casino | 4.66 — 7,090 | 4.69 — 41,644 |
| bet365 Casino | 4.42 — 2,884 | 3.95 — 4,722 |

The gap between the two stores has narrowed. In August it was half a star; now it is 4.49 from 24,926 on iOS against 4.25 from 1,929 on Android — about a quarter of a star, with the Android score climbing faster than the iPhone one. The sample is still thirteen times larger on iPhone, so that is the number to trust, but the Android app is no longer the weak spot it was. Both listings name Cadtree Limited as the publisher, the Ontario operator, which is not true of every app in that table.
The same credentials work in the browser and in either app; there is no separate mobile account.
Only BetMGM has more iPhone ratings behind its score in Ontario. How that sample compares with the rest is in our Ontario casino app comparison.
How to Sign Up and Log In at Jackpot City Ontario
- Open jackpotcity.ca and choose Ontario in the province selector, or go straight to jackpotcity.ca/ontario/.
- Check the page carries the Ontario 19+ mark before you register. If it shows 18+, you are on the international site.
- Register with your legal name, date of birth and address — they must match your ID, because the account is verified against it.
- Set your deposit and time limits before you fund the account. They take effect immediately and are deliberately slower to loosen than to tighten.
- Fund the account. The site and support run in English and French.
The Login button sits in the top bar of the Ontario page, and the same credentials work in the browser and in both apps.
Jackpot City Payments and Withdrawals in Ontario
The Ontario cashier lists six methods, and one of them is unusual here.
| Method | Deposit | Withdrawal | Payout time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa | Yes | Yes | 1–24 hours |
| Interac Online | Yes | Yes | 1–3 business days |
| eCheck | No | Yes | 1–3 business days |
| Mastercard | Yes | No | — |
| American Express | Yes | No | — |
| Apple Pay | Yes | No | — |
As published on the Ontario payment methods page. Accepting American Express at all is unusual in this province; only Visa and Interac work in both directions.
Read the withdrawal rules carefully, because Jackpot City’s own pages disagree. The payment methods page announces “Fast Withdrawals”: “The previous 48-hour reversal period has been removed, so funds are released once approved”, and its FAQ says withdrawals are processed at weekends. The binding document says otherwise. Clause 7.8 of the Ontario terms and conditions (version 1.8, updated 16 April 2026), shared by all four Cadtree casinos, still holds every withdrawal “in a pending state” for a rolling 24 hours, “during which the balance is accessible to the players and can be reversed”, with no withdrawal processing over weekends. What changed is the length of the hold — 48 hours became 24 — not its existence. Plan on the terms: a request made on Friday evening does not move until Monday. If a reversible withdrawal is a temptation, clause 1.1.20 lets you ask support to lock the account until it is processed.
Processing time after approval still depends on your method and your bank, and verification delays are the usual cause of a slow payout. Upload your ID when you open the account rather than when you first cash out. Verification runs through Jumio and is usually instant; documents sent for manual review are checked within a day.
Read the cashier the way the page lays it out, because it is not symmetrical. Visa is the fast way out, quoted at one to 24 hours. Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay only take money in, and eCheck only pays out — so anyone who deposits by Apple Pay or Mastercard should know in advance that the winnings will come back by Visa, Interac or eCheck.
Two lines in the terms are worth knowing if you stop playing. An account with no login for six months becomes inactive, and after a 30-day notice any cashable balance is charged an administration fee of C$10 a month until it reaches zero or you log back in. And funds left in play on a game for 90 days may be confiscated. Withdraw what you do not intend to use; closing an account has to be requested through support, not done in the cashier.
Jackpot City Ontario Customer Support
Support runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through live chat and email, backed by a Help Centre reachable without logging in. A live chat tab is pinned to the side of the page throughout the site, and support is available in English and French.
There is also a telephone line, which we had missed: the Ontario FAQ gives 1 888 378 1328, toll-free in Canada, and the support email jackpotcity@playersupportcentre.ca. Two-step verification by text or email is available on the account, and worth switching on.
Complaints have their own route and their own clock. A formal complaint goes to complaints@playersupportcenter.ca — only that address counts — and must be raised within six months of the problem. Once the operator writes back you have four weeks to answer, or the complaint is treated as resolved, and none can be logged in the week after a withdrawal. If the internal process does not settle it, the next step is eCOGRA as the independent adjudicator, which only accepts cases carrying the Dispute Reference Number the operator issues at the end; after that, iGaming Ontario on 1-833-554-4263. The wider provincial route is set out in our guide to legal online gambling in Ontario.
Is Jackpot City Safe? Licence, Security and Reputation
| Check | What we found |
|---|---|
| Ontario registration | Cadtree Limited, licence OPIG1236392, issued 23 June 2022; listed in the iGO register |
| Regulator | Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, with iGaming Ontario as the conduct-and-manage body |
| Encryption | 128-bit SSL on transactions, per the operator |
| Game testing | Apricot, Pragmatic Play and On Air™ titles certified for the province |
| RG Check | The Responsible Gambling Council’s accreditation mark appears in the footer — an independent audit of player-protection practice that most Ontario sites do not carry |
| Track record | Trading since 1998, in Ontario since the market opened in 2022 |
One oddity: the site’s own footer describes Cadtree as “licensed under the Ontario Gaming Commission”, a body that does not exist under that name. The correct regulator is the AGCO. It is sloppy copy rather than a red flag — the register entry is real and checkable — but on a page whose job is to prove legitimacy, getting the regulator’s name wrong is an odd thing to leave standing. The Ontario terms have the same slip in the place it matters most: the final escalation step for a complaint lists iGaming Ontario and then the “AGCC” at info@agcc.gg — the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, the regulator of the group’s Channel Islands companies, which has no say over an Ontario account. The body to escalate to after iGaming Ontario is the AGCO.
The RG Check accreditation is the genuinely unusual item in that table. It is voluntary, independently audited, and most registered Ontario operators do not have it.
Responsible Gambling at Jackpot City Ontario
Every registered operator has to offer the same core controls, and since 14 May 2026 the province has one that sits above all of them.
BetGuard is Ontario’s centralised self-exclusion portal, run by iGaming Ontario. One registration at BetGuard.ca closes your access to every regulated gambling site in the province — Jackpot City included — and stops their direct marketing. You do not need an existing account to sign up, and you can pick a term of six months, one year, five years or a length of your own.
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Deposit limits | Daily, weekly or monthly caps, set inside your Jackpot City account |
| Loss limits | Cap what you can lose daily, weekly or monthly; only cash counts, and they reset at midnight |
| Session limits | Cap the time logged in, daily, weekly or monthly |
| Temporary exclusion | From 24 hours to three months; the account reopens by itself at the end |
| Operator self-exclusion | Six to twelve months. Its reach is described two different ways — see below |
| BetGuard | Province-wide, across every regulated Ontario site, in one step |
That fourth row is where the operator contradicts itself. Cadtree runs four Ontario casinos — Jackpot City, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino — and its responsible gaming page says a self-exclusion leaves you “unable to access any accounts you hold with our casinos”, while its terms describe a self-exclusion programme “relating to the relevant Casino Website”. One sentence says all four sites; the other reads as one. If you are excluding yourself, do not rely on either: BetGuard closes all four, and every other regulated site, in a single step.
Two smaller details. Raising any limit is held for 24 hours, while lowering one is immediate; and the operator states that limit periods are calculated in the GMT+2 time zone, so a “daily” limit turns over at 5pm Toronto time in winter, 6pm in summer, rather than at midnight. The page also points to BetBlocker, a free blocking app that cannot be removed until the period you choose has run out.
You must be 19 or older to gamble in Ontario. Free, confidential help is available from ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600, or by texting CONNEX to 247247, 24 hours a day.
Jackpot City vs Other Ontario Casinos
Choose Jackpot City if you want a casino and nothing else, if you play Games Global slots, or if the Maple Leafs licence and the provincial Maple Moolah network are what brought you. American Express and the RG Check mark are real advantages over most of the field; the advertised end of the reversal window is not, because the terms still keep a 24-hour reversible hold.
Choose something else if the live floor matters. Two suppliers and roughly 22 tables is the thinnest live offer among the major brands in the province — bet365 Ontario carries around six times as many and has Crazy Time and Monopoly Live, which this casino cannot get. BetMGM Ontario is the pick if you want a house jackpot and a rewards programme attached to it.
For a broader shortlist, our best Ontario online casinos table ranks every licensed brand with a published review.

FAQ’s – Frequently Asked Questions
- Is Jackpot City legal in Ontario?
Yes. The operator, Cadtree Limited, is listed in the iGaming Ontario register and holds Ontario licence OPIG1236392, issued on 23 June 2022. You must be 19 or older and physically inside Ontario. Check the page carries the 19+ mark: if it shows 18+, you are on the international site, which is a different casino.
- Does Jackpot City Ontario have Mega Moolah?
No. Mega Moolah and WowPot belong to the international site and do not appear anywhere in the Ontario lobby. Ontario has three networks of its own instead: Maple Moolah, seeded at C$1,000,000 and funded only by Ontario players, plus Lotsaloot and King Millions.
- What is the Toronto Maple Leafs slot?
Toronto Maple Leafs Rising Rewards, a licensed NHL game you will not find at another Ontario casino. Jackpot City has been the official online casino partner of the Maple Leafs, Raptors and Toronto Rock since October 2022. It runs on the Rising Rewards engine: 720 ways to win, very high volatility and five rising jackpots.
- How good is the Jackpot City app?
On the Canadian App Store it holds 4.5 from 24,926 ratings and sits fourth in the Casino chart. On Google Play Canada the same casino scores 4.25 from about 1,900 reviews. The gap between the two has narrowed from half a star in August to about a quarter, and both listings are published by Cadtree Limited, the Ontario operator.
- Who else does Jackpot City's operator run in Ontario?
Cadtree Limited also operates Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino in Ontario. All four are casino-only registrations sharing an operator and largely the same suppliers. Worth knowing for self-exclusion: shutting your Jackpot City account leaves the other three open, while BetGuard closes all of them at once.

Jackpot City is the strongest of the four casinos Cadtree runs in Ontario, and the most genuinely Ontarian casino in the province: a licensed Maple Leafs slot, a jackpot network funded only by players here, and a site that works in English and French. American Express and the RG Check accreditation are two things almost nobody else in this market offers. The “Fast Withdrawals” claim is weaker than it sounds: the operator’s terms still hold every withdrawal for a reversible 24 hours and do not process at weekends.
The limitation is structural rather than fixable. Nearly all the content comes from one group, and it shows: around 22 live tables from two suppliers, two game shows, no casino poker, and none of the Evolution titles Ontario plays most. The operator’s own pages also cannot agree whether the lobby holds 400 games or 1,000.
Open an account here if you want a casino without a sportsbook attached and you play Games Global slots. If the live floor is the reason you are choosing, bet365 carries six times as many tables.
