Is Royal Vegas Legal in Ontario?

Yes. Royal Vegas is on the iGaming Ontario register of regulated sites, and the register links to one address: royalvegas.ca/ontario.

The operator is Cadtree Limited, a company registered in Alderney, in the Channel Islands. The footer of the Ontario site reads: “CADTREE LIMITED (2031), is a Alderney registered company registered at La Corvee House, La Corvee Alderney, GY9 3TQ. CADTREE LIMITED is licensed under the Ontario Gaming Commission, license number: OPIG1237900 (issued 23 June 2022).”

Two details in that sentence are wrong, and neither is ours to fix. There is no “Ontario Gaming Commission”: the regulator is the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which is what Royal Vegas’s own terms and conditions correctly say. And the help centre the site links to prints a different number in its footer — OPIG1236392, the registration of its sister casino, Jackpot City. The help centre is shared by Cadtree’s four Ontario casinos, and its footer was written for one of the others.

None of those slips changes the legal position. Royal Vegas has held an Ontario registration since the first months of the regulated market, and an account opened at royalvegas.ca/ontario sits under AGCO rules.

Two Royal Vegas Casinos: royalvegas.ca/ontario and royalvegascasino.com

The name Royal Vegas belongs to two different businesses, and Google does not separate them for you. In October 2026, five of the first ten Canadian results for “royal vegas ontario” were pages of royalvegascasino.com — its mobile, most popular games, slots, casino games and live casino pages.

That site is not the Ontario casino. Its footer names Baytree Interactive Ltd (69691), “a Guernsey registered company… licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, license number: 01059″. We opened royalvegascasino.com/ca from a Toronto connection: it did not redirect. It loaded Baytree’s site with a province selector across the top — Alberta, Ontario, Other — and its own catalogue, promotions and help pages underneath.

The province selector makes the .com look like a front door to the Ontario casino. Do not treat it as one: the only Royal Vegas that puts your account and your money under AGCO protection is the one whose address ends in .ca/ontario. Type it, or use the Cadtree app.

Who Runs Royal Vegas: Cadtree and Super Group

Royal Vegas is one of four casinos Cadtree runs in Ontario. Its terms and conditions define the “Casino Websites” as spincasino.ca, rubyfortune.ca, jackpotcity.ca and royalvegas.ca — Spin Casino, Ruby Fortune, Jackpot City and Royal Vegas — under one set of rules. The About page adds the parent: Royal Vegas “is proud to be part of Super Group (SGHC) Limited“, the listed group that also owns Betway.

Cadtree Limited entry in the iGaming Ontario operator register
Cadtree Limited on the iGaming Ontario register: Jackpot City, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Spin Casino.

Sharing a group has three practical consequences:

  • One set of terms. Withdrawal rules, inactivity fees and complaint procedures are the same at all four Cadtree casinos (version 1.8, updated 16 April 2026).
  • One support desk. The help centre, live chat and toll-free line are shared; the contact page offers an email link for each of the four brands.
  • One exclusion. The responsible gaming page says that during an exclusion “you will not be able to access any accounts you hold with our casinos” — a break taken here applies to the sister sites too.

The brand is the second-oldest in the group, after Jackpot City (1998): Royal Vegas says it launched in 2000, and its own pages describe “over twenty-five years and still going strong”. The Ontario site is newer — the iPhone app went live in September 2022 — and it is not identical to its sisters, as the payments section below shows.

Royal Vegas Ontario Casino Games

How many games? Four answers from one operator

Royal Vegas does not publish a single game count for Ontario. It publishes four, and they do not agree:

Where Royal Vegas says it Game count
FAQ, and the banner at the foot of every page “Over 100 games”
Home page and casino games page “400-plus online casino games”
iPhone app screenshots on the App Store “800+ slots and more”
About page “Over 1500 casino games”

The full lobby opens only after you sign in with geolocation switched on, so none of these figures can be checked from outside an account. The App Store number is the most recent and the one tied to the Ontario app; the “over 100” banner is plainly left over from an older version of the site. Treat the catalogue as several hundred games, mostly slots.

Inside the lobby

The operator’s own App Store screenshots show the Ontario lobby. Games sit under For You, Slots, Tables, Live Casino and Arcade, and the Tables tab is split again into All Tables, Blackjack, Roulette, Video Poker and Baccarat. A demo mode is available on many games, so you can try a slot before staking money.

Studios: Games Global first

Royal Vegas’s FAQ names one primary supplier — Apricot, “founded in 1994”, the platform brand of the studio once called Microgaming and now part of Games Global. The home page adds two more by name: Pragmatic Play and On Air, Pragmatic’s sister live studio. That is the same core as Jackpot City, rather than the 80-studio mix of the largest Ontario lobbies.

One studio is missing that several affiliate reviews still list. The help centre’s “Recently Removed Games” article names Evolution Blackjack and Evolution Roulette among the titles taken out, and the live lobby in the operator’s screenshots shows Pragmatic Play Live and On Air tables, not Evolution. If live Evolution games are what you want, Royal Vegas is not the place.

Slots and Maple Moolah

The slot catalogue is built around Games Global titles — 9 Masks of Fire, Break Da Bank Again Megaways, Thunderstruck II, Assassin Moon, Amazing Link Zeus, Agent Jane Blonde Returns and Lara Croft: Temple and Tombs are all promoted on the Ontario pages. The headline jackpot is Maple Moolah, the Ontario-only progressive network that replaces Mega Moolah in this province, promoted here through Gold Factory Jackpots. The pool is shared across the casinos that carry the network.

Two practical notes from the operator’s own pages. RTP is not published in a table: the payout percentages page tells you to open a game and find the Return to Player section in its help file. And “not every game at Royal Vegas is” mobile friendly, because the mobile casino came “several years after its online counterpart”. We compared the province’s slot catalogues, studio by studio, in our guide to online slots in Ontario.

Roulette, Blackjack and Table Games

Roulette comes in European, French and American versions, plus Switch Studios’ European Roulette and the Real Auto Roulette wheel. Blackjack leans on the Games Global multi-hand range — Vegas Strip, Vegas Downtown, Vegas Single Deck and European, playable up to five hands at once — with Premier Blackjack side-bet variants. The help centre adds baccarat, poker, sic bo, craps and Dragon Tiger. The arithmetic does not change with the brand: a single-zero wheel costs 2.70%, a double-zero wheel 5.26%, so choose European or French where you can. More in our guides to online roulette in Ontario and online blackjack in Ontario.

Live dealer

Royal Vegas promotes its own-brand Real series — roulette and baccarat with named hosts such as Sarati, Bailey, Rishi, Matthew and Holly — alongside On Air blackjack and roulette. In the app, Live Casino has its own tab, with live blackjack, baccarat, roulette and Casino Hold’em from Pragmatic Play Live and On Air.

For Android, the help centre says the app is downloaded “from the website”, but the Ontario site carries no download link and there is no Royal Vegas app on Google Play Canada. Android players use the mobile site, which has the same lobby, cashier and support. The iPhone app needs location services allowed “While using the app”; the help centre has step-by-step fixes for iOS, Android, Edge and Samsung Internet if the location check fails. Compare it with the rest of the province in our Ontario casino apps compared.

How to Sign Up and Log In at Royal Vegas Ontario

  1. Go to royalvegas.ca/ontario or install the Cadtree app. Not royalvegascasino.com, even if its province selector offers Ontario.
  2. Register with details that match your ID. You must be 19 or older; only bank accounts and payment methods in your own name are accepted.
  3. Allow location services. If geolocation is off, or you are outside Ontario, the games will not open.
  4. Verify early. Royal Vegas asks for a government-issued photo ID and a proof of address no older than six months. Uploading them before your first withdrawal removes the most common delay.
  5. Turn on 2-Step Verification. A one-time code by text or email at every login.

Logging in

The same username and password work on desktop, in the mobile browser and in the iPhone app; “Keep me logged in” sits below the password field. If a login is refused, the help centre’s first suspects are an out-of-date browser cache and the location check rather than your password.

Royal Vegas Payments in Ontario

The Royal Vegas Ontario payment methods page read from Toronto on 15 October 2026: Visa and Interac for deposits and withdrawals in 1-3 business days, Mastercard for deposits only, each with a $10 minimum deposit
The Royal Vegas Ontario payment methods page, read from Toronto on 15 October 2026.

Deposit and withdrawal methods

Method Deposit Withdrawal Withdrawal time (payments page)
Interac Yes Yes 1–3 business days
Visa Yes Yes 1–3 business days
Mastercard Yes No —
American Express Yes No —
Apple Pay Yes No —
eCheck No Yes 1–3 business days

The minimum deposit is $10 and Royal Vegas charges no fees of its own. Prepaid cards are capped: no more than $250 in a rolling seven days across all prepaid methods, and no more than five different cards. Two things on the operator’s pages are not in the table above. The home page calls MuchBetter “particularly popular” with Ontario players, but it appears neither on the payments page nor in the help centre’s list of deposit methods; and there is no PayPal.

The withdrawal rules

Item What Royal Vegas publishes
Minimum withdrawal $50, for every method
Pending period A rolling 24 hours from the request, reversible during that time
Weekends No withdrawal processing at weekends
After processing (help centre) Web wallets 24–48 hours; cards and bank transfers 3–7 business days
After processing (payments page) 1–3 business days for Interac, Visa and eCheck
Banking page “Between 24 hours and 7 business days”

No Instant Withdrawals here

This is where Royal Vegas falls behind its own sisters. On 28 April 2026 the shared help centre published two articles, “Spin Casino Instant Withdrawals” and “Jackpot City Instant Withdrawals”: at those two brands, Interac and card withdrawals can be paid “almost instantly”, with no reversal or pending period on the first withdrawal of the day. There is no Royal Vegas article. Royal Vegas’s payments FAQ still describes “a standard 24-hour pending period for review”, its help centre still says withdrawals “aren’t paid over weekends”, and clause 7.8 of its terms still holds every request “in a pending state” for a rolling 24 hours.

In practice, plan on the slowest version: 24 hours pending, nothing at weekends, then up to three business days for Interac or Visa. A request made on Friday evening is unlikely to arrive before the middle of the following week. The pending balance can be reversed and played, so if that is a temptation, clause 1.1.20 lets you ask support to lock the account until the withdrawal is processed. Compare payout speed across the province in our guide to the fastest-paying Ontario casinos, and Interac specifically in Interac casinos in Ontario.

Royal Vegas Customer Support

Channel Details
Live chat The chat icon on the site and in the help centre
Email A link per brand on the help centre contact page
Telephone 1 888 378 1328, toll-free, shared by the four Cadtree casinos
Languages English and French
Complaints complaints@playersupportcenter.ca — the only address that counts as a formal complaint

The phone line is easy to miss. The Royal Vegas FAQ says “we currently offer live chat and email”, the About page says the same, and the number appears only on the help centre’s contact page. Some reviews still quote an older 1-866 number, and others say there is no phone support at all; the toll-free line above is the one the help centre lists today.

How to complain

Formal complaints go by email within six months of the issue, with your username, full name and an explanation. Three rules in the terms are stricter than most: you have four weeks to answer any message or the complaint is closed; no complaint can be logged within a week of a withdrawal; and only a completed internal complaint produces the Dispute Reference Number that the adjudicator, eCOGRA, requires. After that, iGaming Ontario (igaming@igamingontario.ca, 1-833-554-4263) is the escalation route; the terms also list the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, which has no role over an Ontario account.

Is Royal Vegas Safe?

The regulated basics

On the fundamentals, yes. Royal Vegas holds an AGCO registration and an iGaming Ontario operating agreement, verifies identity in line with FINTRAC rules, offers two-step verification, uses eCOGRA for disputes, and shows the Responsible Gambling Council’s RG Check accreditation in its footer. It belongs to a listed group, Super Group, that also runs Betway.

Where the paperwork falls short

The weaknesses are in the documents around the product, most of them shared with Cadtree’s other casinos:

  • The footer credits the licence to an “Ontario Gaming Commission” that does not exist.
  • The help centre footer prints Jackpot City’s registration number, OPIG1236392.
  • The terms call Cadtree “Guernsey registered”; the footer says Alderney.
  • The FAQ says Royal Vegas is certified by “an external testing agency, iGaming” — a garbled reference to an accreditation the site does not otherwise name.
  • Four different game counts, from “over 100” to “over 1500”.
  • Limits are calculated “using the GMT +2 time zone”, and the responsible gaming page and the help centre give different lengths for a permanent exclusion (see below).

None of this puts your money at risk. It does mean that when two Royal Vegas pages disagree, the terms and conditions are the document to rely on: they are the one written for the AGCO.

Responsible Gambling at Royal Vegas

Tool How it works at Royal Vegas
Deposit limit Per day, week or month
Loss limit Per day, week or month
Session limit A reminder when your chosen time is up
Raising a limit 24-hour wait; lowering is immediate
Temporary exclusion 24 hours to 3 months; reactivates automatically
Permanent exclusion 6 to 12 months (responsible gaming page) or 6 months to 5 years (help centre)
Reopening after exclusion Questions reviewed by the RG team, then a 24-hour cooling-off period
Scope All accounts “with our casinos” — Royal Vegas, Jackpot City, Spin Casino and Ruby Fortune
BetGuard Supported; separate from Cadtree’s own exclusion

Set limits from the Responsible Gaming menu under your username before you deposit, and prefer weekly or monthly periods: on GMT+2, a “daily” limit turns over at 5pm or 6pm Toronto time rather than at midnight. The responsible gaming page also links to Bet Blocker, free software that blocks gambling sites on your devices.

Inactive accounts and idle funds

An account becomes inactive after six months without a login. Royal Vegas then notifies you and gives you 30 days to withdraw; after that, a C$10 monthly administration fee can be deducted until the balance reaches zero or you log back in. Separately, the terms allow the casino to confiscate funds “left in-play on any game” for 90 days or longer. Withdraw what you are not using before you step away, and see our guide to responsible gambling and BetGuard for the provincial tools.

You must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario to play. ConnexOntario is free, confidential and open 24/7 on 1-866-531-2600.

Royal Vegas vs Other Ontario Casinos

Who Royal Vegas suits

Royal Vegas suits iPhone players who want a long-established Games Global casino — the familiar slots, Maple Moolah, European and French roulette, own-brand Real live tables — with a highly rated app from the operator, American Express and Apple Pay deposits, and a toll-free phone line. It suits players less well if they want fast or small withdrawals, an Android app, Evolution live games, or a lobby they can count before signing up.

How it compares

Royal Vegas Jackpot City Betway Yukon Gold
Our score 3.5 4.3 4.1 3.2
Operator Cadtree (Super Group) Cadtree (Super Group) Super Group Apollo Entertainment
Games Not published (4 claims) 1,000+ 1,787 1,630
Minimum deposit $10 $10 Not published $10
Telephone support Yes, toll-free Yes, toll-free No No number published

Within its own family, Jackpot City is the better Cadtree casino on the same terms: the same games core and phone line, but Instant Withdrawals and a clearer Ontario identity. Betway, from the same parent group, has a far larger counted lobby and more payment methods. Yukon Gold shares Royal Vegas’s $50 minimum withdrawal without the phone line, and Casino Days processes withdrawals in minutes rather than days. Five Things to Check Before Your First Deposit

  1. The address. royalvegas.ca/ontario, with Cadtree Limited and OPIG1237900 in the footer. If the footer names Baytree Interactive or the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, you are on royalvegascasino.com.
  2. Your withdrawal method. Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay are deposit-only; set up Interac, Visa or eCheck for cashing out before you need it.
  3. The $50 minimum. Balances under $50 cannot be withdrawn, so size your deposits accordingly.
  4. The calendar. 24 hours pending and no weekend processing: request withdrawals early in the week.
  5. Your limits, in GMT+2. Set them before you fund the account, and prefer weekly or monthly periods.

Five minutes on these removes the problems most likely to cost you time or money here: the wrong Royal Vegas, a deposit method you cannot withdraw to, and a payout that waits over a weekend.

How We Reviewed Royal Vegas Ontario

Everything on this page was read from the operator, the regulator or the App Store in October 2026. We checked the iGaming Ontario register, read royalvegas.ca/ontario from a Toronto connection — home page, games and table games, banking and payment pages, payout percentages, FAQ, About page, responsible gaming page and the full terms and conditions (version 1.8, updated 16 April 2026) — and read all 63 articles of the shared help centre. We opened royalvegascasino.com/ca from Toronto to confirm who runs it and whether it redirects, and checked the Canadian App Store and Google Play for the Ontario apps. The lobby images are from the screenshots Cadtree Limited publishes for its Ontario iPhone app.

Where Royal Vegas’s own pages contradict each other, we have shown both and said which one to rely on. The lobby opens only to a signed-in, geolocated account, so we have listed the operator’s game counts rather than adding a fifth of our own.

Royal Vegas Ontario earns 3.5 out of 5. It is a dependable, long-running Games Global casino: the familiar slots, the Maple Moolah network, European and French roulette, own-brand Real live tables, an iPhone app from the operator rated 4.54 from 569 ratings, American Express and Apple Pay deposits, and a toll-free phone line shared with three sister sites.

What holds it back is the cashier and the paperwork. The minimum withdrawal is $50, every request sits pending and reversible for 24 hours, nothing is processed at weekends — and the Instant Withdrawals that Jackpot City and Spin Casino introduced in April 2026 have not reached Royal Vegas. There is no Android app. The site gives four different game counts, credits its licence to a non-existent “Ontario Gaming Commission”, and shares a name with royalvegascasino.com, which opens freely from Toronto.

Choose Royal Vegas if you play on iPhone, like the Games Global catalogue and want a phone number to call. Type royalvegas.ca/ontario, set up an Interac or Visa withdrawal route on day one, and request payouts early in the week. If payout speed matters more than the brand, its sister Jackpot City runs on the same terms with faster withdrawals.
