Two out of two pay it back. That is a better ratio than any other wallet in the province manages at scale — MuchBetter returns money at five of its seven sites, and Apple Pay at four of fourteen. It is also a ratio drawn from two data points, which is the honest caveat.
The thirty operators absent from that table publish no support for the wallet under either name. That includes every sportsbook brand in the province and every one of the seven Casino Rewards casinos.
ecoPayz Is Now Payz, and Ontario Cashiers Say Payz
If you came here searching for ecoPayz, you are searching for a name that appears in no Ontario cashier. The wallet rebranded to Payz, and the change went all the way down: the service operates today as Payz, run by IPS Solutions Ltd, a company incorporated in Cyprus under registration number HE346719 and “authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) to issue electronic money and to provide payment services”, under licence number 115.1.3.28.
Both Ontario operators followed. Betway lists Payz in its Ontario footer, and SlotsMagic lists Payz among its seven methods. Neither writes ecoPayz anywhere.
This matters for a practical reason rather than a pedantic one. If you are scanning a cashier for the logo you remember, you will not find it — the mark changed with the name, and the entry you want sits under P. Existing accounts carried over, so a wallet opened as ecoPayz is the same wallet, with the same balance and the same login.

The Ontario footer at Betway lists ten payment methods — Interac, Visa, Mastercard, iDebit, InstaDebit, MuchBetter, Payz, paysafecard, ecoVoucher and Flexepin — which is the widest cashier of any casino covered on this site. Payz works in both directions.
What Betway does not publish is a withdrawal timetable for Ontario, which is the one gap in an otherwise unusually open cashier, and no minimum deposit or withdrawal for any method. With ten routes available, the slowest part of a first payout here is almost never the payment method — it is the verification that should have been completed at registration. SlotsMagic shows seven methods in its footer — Interac, Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, Payz, AstroPay and paysafecard — a mix that leans more international than most Ontario casinos. There is no Apple Pay. The minimum deposit is C$10 and the minimum withdrawal C$20, “unless otherwise stated in the relevant casino pages of the Site”.
Two operational details are worth carrying into the cashier. The help centre warns that if the withdrawal page offers you only wire transfer, that is the only route available to you at that moment — so the Payz option can disappear. And there is a C$5 monthly inactivity charge, which is a clock on any balance you leave behind.
Payz Is Never the Only Way Out

That changes what the wallet is for. It is not solving a problem with the cashier; it is a preference. The case for using it is the ordinary wallet case: the casino sees a Payz account instead of your bank details, and you keep one ledger across several sites. The Pages Ranking for ecoPayz Are Not Ontario Pages
Search for an ecoPayz casino from Canada and the results are unusually thin. Below the wallet’s own site and a couple of established comparison brands, the first page fills with sites that have no connection to gambling at all — a coffee company, a property blog, a general-interest news domain — each carrying a single article about ecoPayz casinos. None of them is written for Ontario, and several still describe the wallet under the old name and the old branding.
