Every Ontario Casino That Takes Payz
This is not a shortlist. It is the complete list of regulated Ontario operators that support the wallet, and it has two entries out of fifty-one.

Two out of two pay it back. Among the bigger wallets, PayPal comes closest, at eleven of its twelve sites; MuchBetter returns money at ten of its fifteen sites, and Apple Pay at seven of twenty-four. It is also a ratio drawn from two data points, which is the honest caveat.
The forty-nine operators absent from that table list the wallet under neither name. That includes the other large sportsbook brands in the province and every one of the seven Casino Rewards casinos.
ecoPayz Is Now Payz, and Ontario Cashiers Say Payz
If you came here searching for ecoPayz, you are searching for a name that appears in no Ontario cashier. The wallet rebranded to Payz, and the change went all the way down: the service operates today as Payz, run by IPS Solutions Ltd, a company incorporated in Cyprus under registration number HE346719 and “authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) to issue electronic money and to provide payment services”, under licence number 115.1.3.28.
Both Ontario operators followed. Betway lists Payz in its Ontario footer, and SlotsMagic lists Payz among its seven methods. Neither writes ecoPayz anywhere.
This matters for a practical reason rather than a pedantic one. If you are scanning a cashier for the logo you remember, you will not find it — the mark changed with the name, and the entry you want sits under P. Existing accounts carried over, so a wallet opened as ecoPayz is the same wallet, with the same balance and the same login.

Two operators, and they are opposites in almost every respect except this one.
Betway: Payz is one of ten methods, jointly the widest cashier in Ontario
The Ontario footer at Betway lists ten payment methods — Interac, Visa, Mastercard, iDebit, InstaDebit, MuchBetter, Payz, paysafecard, ecoVoucher and Flexepin — which, with bwin’s, is jointly the widest cashier of any casino covered on this site. Payz works in both directions.
Betway publishes no Payz-specific payout time, but its help centre says to expect a withdrawal “within three working days, depending on the withdrawal method you’ve chosen”, and its terms set a minimum withdrawal of 10 CAD. What it does not publish is a minimum deposit for any method. With ten routes available, the slowest part of a first payout here is almost never the payment method — it is the verification that should have been completed at registration. Note also that three of those ten are prepaid products: paysafecard, ecoVoucher and Flexepin are deposit-only by nature, because a voucher has no account to send money back to.
SlotsMagic: Payz among seven, C$10 in and C$20 out
SlotsMagic shows seven methods in its footer — Interac, Visa, Mastercard, MuchBetter, Payz, AstroPay and paysafecard — a mix that leans more international than most Ontario casinos. There is no Apple Pay. The minimum deposit is C$10 and the minimum withdrawal C$20, “unless otherwise stated in the relevant casino pages of the Site”.
Two operational details are worth carrying into the cashier. The help centre warns that if the withdrawal page offers you only wire transfer, that is the only route available to you at that moment — so the Payz option can disappear. And there is a C$5 monthly inactivity charge, which is a clock on any balance you leave behind.
Payz Is Never the Only Way Out
Both of these operators pay through Interac as well, in both directions. So unlike the four Casino Rewards brands on our Skrill page — where Interac deposits go in but cannot bring winnings back, leaving the wallet as one of only three exits — Payz here is always optional.
That changes what the wallet is for. It is not solving a problem with the cashier; it is a preference. The case for using it is the ordinary wallet case: the casino sees a Payz account instead of your bank details, and you keep one ledger across several sites. The case against is equally ordinary — an extra account, an extra set of terms, and an extra hop for the money on the way home.
Most Ontario operators also apply a closed-loop rule, returning money by the method that funded the account up to the amount deposited. Since both sites handle Payz in both directions, that rule works in your favour here rather than rerouting you.
How to Deposit With Payz at an Ontario Casino
- Open and fund the Payz wallet first. It sits between your bank and the casino, so the balance has to be there before the cashier can draw on it.
- Register at Betway or SlotsMagic and complete identity verification straight away. At SlotsMagic that means ID, proof of address and proof of ownership of the deposit method, uploaded from Personal Area > Upload Documents — doing it before the first withdrawal is what stops that withdrawal being held.

The Pages Ranking for ecoPayz Are Not Ontario Pages
Search for an ecoPayz casino from Canada and the results are unusually thin. Below the wallet’s own site and a couple of established comparison brands, the first page fills with sites that have no connection to gambling at all — a coffee company, a property blog, a general-interest news domain — each carrying a single article about ecoPayz casinos. None of them is written for Ontario, and several still describe the wallet under the old name and the old branding.
Nobody in that top ten tells you the number that decides the question: two. Not two recommended, two in existence. Every list of “top ecoPayz casinos” aimed at Canada is drawn from the unregulated national market, where the wallet is common and the operator has no obligation to the AGCO.

For forty-nine of the fifty-one registered operators we cover, this is the section that applies. The direct replacement is Interac e-Transfer: forty-six sites take it, thirty-seven pay back through it, and it settles straight to a Canadian bank account with no third party holding a balance in the middle.
If what you want is specifically the wallet layer, the alternatives are all small too. MuchBetter is the largest at fifteen operators, PayPal is at twelve, Skrill at seven, and Jeton and AstroPay at one each. No wallet in this province reaches more than a third of the market, and the one you can use is decided by the casino you pick rather than the other way round.

What does not work is opening an account at an unregulated site because it carries the wallet you prefer. Sites outside the iGaming Ontario register are not bound by the province’s standards, and a payment dispute there has nowhere to go.
Is Payz Safe at an Ontario Casino?
