Is Swiper Legal in Ontario?
Yes. Swiper is on the iGaming Ontario register at on.swiper.com, approved for casino and sports betting. It is operated by Canadix Limited, a Maltese company (number C102170) in Birkirkara, registered with the AGCO under OPIG1456605. It is one of the newest sites in the province: its Ontario app went live in October 2025.

Swiper and ToonieBet: the same platform
Canadix Limited also runs ToonieBet, and the two share more than an owner. The cashier rules are identical: a $20 minimum withdrawal, three pending withdrawals at most, a $9,000 daily cap. The lobbies are close in size and studio mix. What Swiper adds is a different look and a heavier game layer: challenges, tournaments, a shop for in-site coins and a short-video “Shorts” feed. If you already have a ToonieBet account, Swiper is a new front end on a familiar casino.

Swiper Ontario Games
5,923 games from 86 studios
The lobby the Ontario site loads listed 5,923 games when we read it from Toronto: 4,013 slots, 526 live dealer games and 55 RNG table games, from 86 studios. That puts Swiper among the largest lobbies in Ontario.

| Studio | Games in the Ontario lobby |
|---|---|
| Pragmatic Play | 502 |
| Play’n GO | 389 |
| Playtech | 385 |
| Hacksaw Gaming | 312 |
| Red Tiger | 260 |
| Relax Gaming | 245 |
| IGT | 241 |
| Pragmatic Play Live | 211 |
| Wazdan | 193 |
| Evolution | 186 |
| 76 other studios | 3,003 |
The list is broad as well as long. Hacksaw (312) and Relax (245) are both deep, which matters if you look for higher-RTP slots; IGT (241) and Light & Wonder bring the land-casino titles Ontario players know; and NetEnt, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming and ELK are all present. Search lets you filter by studio from the top bar. More on lobbies in our guide to online slots in Ontario.
Live casino: 526 tables from seven studios
The live section counted 526 games: 291 blackjack tables, 114 roulette, 78 baccarat and dice tables, 43 game shows and 10 poker tables. They come from Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live, Playtech, Ezugi, OnAir, Skywind and Amusnet, so the floor covers Crazy Time and Lightning Roulette as well as branded and Las Vegas-streamed tables. Compare live floors in our guide to live casino in Ontario.

The Swiper App
The Ontario app is Swiper Ontario – Live Casino, published by Canadix Limited itself. It is the weak point: 1.8 from 19 ratings on the Canadian App Store and 2.0 from seven reviews on Google Play, where it has more than 1,000 installs. The iPhone download is 159 MB and needs iOS 15. With so few ratings the score could move quickly, but for now the browser site is the better-tested way to play. See our page on Ontario casino apps compared.

Swiper Payments in Ontario
Swiper’s help centre lists Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Paysafecard, Skrill, Skrill 1 Tap and MuchBetter as the main methods, all in Canadian dollars.
| Rule | Swiper Ontario |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | $10 in general, varying by method |
| Minimum withdrawal | $20 in general, varying by method |
| Processing | Within three business days (72 business hours), Monday to Friday |
| After processing | Depends on the method; bank transfers take 3–5 more business days |
| Pending withdrawals | Up to three at a time; cancellable while pending |
| Daily withdrawal limit | $9,000, with weekly and monthly limits; larger amounts in instalments |
| Card deposits | Your card’s bank may charge a fee on Visa and Mastercard deposits |
Two practical points. Not every deposit method pays out, and when yours does not, the help centre suggests Interac as the fallback. And the three-business-day processing window means a request made on a Friday evening may not move until the following week, before your bank adds its own time. Our guides to Interac casinos in Ontario and Skrill casinos in Ontario compare the methods, and the fastest-paying Ontario casinos are worth a look if speed matters.
Verification
Swiper verifies documents in 24 to 48 hours once it has everything: photo ID, a utility bill or bank statement under six months old, proof of your payment method and, for larger amounts, proof of source of funds. It may also review your play before releasing a withdrawal. Uploading documents before your first cash-out avoids most delays.
Swiper Customer Support
Support is by live chat and email at support@on.swiper.com, with a help centre that covers geolocation problems in unusual detail. We found no phone number for Ontario players.
Formal complaints go to complaints@on.swiper.com from your registered address, with “COMPLAINT” and the reason in the subject. Swiper acknowledges within one business day and aims to reply in full within ten days, or twenty for complex cases. After its final response you can take the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider or to iGaming Ontario at 1-833-554-4263.
Is Swiper Safe?
Swiper is registered with the AGCO and operates under iGaming Ontario’s rules, and its owner already runs ToonieBet in the province. One rule in its terms is stricter than most.
Inactive after 180 days
If you do not log in for 180 days, your account becomes inactive and Swiper charges a $5 administration fee every month from your real-money balance until you log in or the balance reaches zero. Six months is half the usual Ontario grace period. Self-excluded accounts are exempt. A single login resets the clock, but the simpler habit is to withdraw what you are not using.
Responsible Gambling at Swiper
| Tool | How it works at Swiper |
|---|---|
| Deposit limits | Daily, weekly or monthly |
| Loss limits | Daily, weekly or monthly |
| Session limits | Daily, weekly or monthly playing time |
| Self-exclusion | Six months, one year or five years; no marketing during the period |
| BetGuard | Province-wide self-exclusion through iGaming Ontario, separate from Swiper’s own |
Tighter limits apply immediately; relaxing one takes 24 hours. Limits can be set at registration. If gambling stops being fun, ConnexOntario offers free, confidential help around the clock at 1-866-531-2600, or by text to 247247. More on responsible gambling and BetGuard.
Swiper vs ToonieBet
| Swiper | ToonieBet | |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | Canadix Limited | Canadix Limited |
| Games counted | 5,923 | 6,023 |
| Live tables | 526 | 545 |
| Minimum withdrawal | $20 | $20 |
| Phone support | Not published | Yes, 24/7 |
| iPhone app rating | 1.8 | 4.4 |
On games and cashier the two sister sites are almost interchangeable. ToonieBet has the phone line and a far better-rated app; Swiper has the coins, challenges and shop layer, and a newer design. If the app or a phone line matters to you, ToonieBet is the safer pick of the pair.

- That your deposit method can also receive a withdrawal — if not, plan on Interac.
- That your ID and proof of address are uploaded before you cash out.
- That you will log in at least every six months, or withdraw your balance.
- That your deposit, loss and session limits are set.
How We Reviewed Swiper Ontario
We read on.swiper.com from a Toronto connection in October 2026: the Ontario terms and conditions, the help centre, the responsible gaming page, the footer and the lobby the site loads, counting games by category and by studio. App figures come from the Canadian App Store and Google Play, and the registration from the iGaming Ontario register. We did not open a funded account.

Swiper Ontario earns 3.5 out of 5. The games are first-rate: 5,923 titles from 86 studios, deep Hacksaw and Relax lists, and 526 live tables from seven studios, with 291 for blackjack.
The rest holds it back. The app rates 1.8 from few ratings, there is no published phone line, withdrawals take up to three business days to process, and an account left alone for 180 days starts paying $5 a month.
Choose Swiper for the lobby, and play in the browser. If you want the same games with a phone line and a better-rated app, its sister ToonieBet offers both.
