Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 September 2026

OnlineCasinoOntario.bet is an independent information site about online casinos licensed to operate in Ontario. We are not a gambling operator: you cannot place a bet, make a deposit or hold an account here. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, what we do not collect, and what rights you have under Canadian privacy law.

If you only read one section, read the next one.

The short version

We do not run analytics on this website. There is no Google Analytics tag, no Google Tag Manager container, no Meta pixel, no advertising tracker and no session-recording tool. We do not build a profile of you, we do not follow you across other sites, and we have never sold or rented personal information to anyone.

The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.

Information you give us

Our contact form asks for your name, your email address, the subject of your message and the message itself. We use that information for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. Your email address is not added to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing email.

Please do not send us account numbers, copies of identity documents, banking details or screenshots containing them. We have no way to act on them, and we would rather not hold them. Complaints about a specific account have to go to the operator, and then to iGaming Ontario or the AGCO — not to us.

Information collected automatically

Like every website, ours runs on a web server that keeps standard access logs: the IP address a request came from, the date and time, the page requested, and the browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist so the site can be kept online and defended against abuse. They are not linked to any identity and they are not used for analysis or profiling.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies. The full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Links to casino operators

Some links on this site take you to a casino operator’s website, and some of those links are commercial — if you open an account after following one, the operator may pay us a commission. How that works, and why it does not decide our ratings, is set out in How We Review Casinos.

What matters for your privacy is this: those links pass through a redirect on our own domain, which counts the click. The click is counted, not you — the redirect does not collect your name, your email or anything you have typed on this site.

Once you land on the operator’s website you have left ours, and you are covered by that operator’s privacy policy, not by this one. Operators licensed in Ontario are required to verify your identity and age before you can play, so they will ask you for personal information that we never see and never receive.

Who else sees your information

Our web hosting provider stores the site and its logs on our behalf, and the email provider that carries our mailbox handles the messages you send us. Beyond those two, we do not share personal information with third parties. We will disclose information if a Canadian court, regulator or law enforcement body lawfully requires it, and not otherwise.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages and email correspondence are kept while the matter is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Server logs are rotated and overwritten on the hosting provider’s normal schedule.

Your rights

We handle personal information in line with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which applies to private-sector organisations in Ontario. Under it you may:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • withdraw consent for us to use it, at any time.

Write to info@onlinecasinoontario.bet and we will respond. Given how little we hold, most of these requests are answered in a sentence.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Age

The legal minimum age for online gambling in Ontario is 19. This site is intended for adults and its content is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19; if you believe a minor has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and access to the systems behind it is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, which is one more reason we keep as little personal information as possible.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add analytics or another third-party service, this page will be updated before it goes live, and the date at the top will change. We will not quietly start collecting more than we describe here.
